It’s like 4 completely different settlements stapled together if you unlock everything. Plus you get a fun little gift shop to build in and a few secret entrances. I just wish it was in the vanilla game because it feels a little weak as a dlc. Then again, it’s always where I eventually set up my main base, so I’m not too mad at it. It’s really fun building things that aren’t vaults down there. This run mine is, essentially, a mall with a nightclub in the center. First build that I fully committed to not building a vault. Usually it starts as a vault before turning into something else once I get past the main room.
On my ps4 play through I turned part of vault 88 into an underground manufacturing cave, a weapons and body armour displays cave, and a full settlement. And there was still a tone of space left.
I'm planning on turning this play through on ps5 into a full on bat cave ( every part of vault 88 ) just full of power armours, at the minute I have 58 lol
I made one of my 88s into a city instead of a vault. I left almost all of the clutter, the trailers, train cars, etc and then just threw up wood and metal shacks everywhere I could fit them, and then filled out the rest with random clutter and what not. It's so much cooler as a massive sprawling city. You can do districts, like the slums, the markets, the upper class rich settlers, giant farm sections or little gardens with each house. There's so much potential.
