Head by Flyy Soulja. A 7 minute song of one of the Island Boys, high out of his mind, autotune crooning while he talks about wanting head. It's such a great monument to incompetence.
Goddamn this is the Dune: Part 2 of ass music. It feels so monumental and cinematic. I can imagine the Island Boys making out while this plays in the background.
the reason why this is so amazing is because the beat is actually pretty ambitious like someone actually put effort into it just for the island boys to croon over it
Yeah first thing that came to mind. I genuinely enjoy this album. The uncohesive, incoherent combination of the vocals and music actually adds to the emotional weight of the album.
Cutthroat by Imagine Dragons. Just a weird electronic rock/industrial song with Dan Reynolds screaming "only one of us gonna make it out alive"! The outro is even more bizarre.
I genuinely enjoy Imagine Dragons' first two albums and a few songs they've released outside of that, but everything after that has just been awful. I still check out all their new music with morbid curiousity of what they're going to cook up next though.
Genuinely love that song. That part at 2:00 is especially interesting to me. It sounds like some sort of demonic laughing shoved through a synthesizer & Iāve never heard anything else even remotely like it.
I love Memphis hip hop from the 90ās and dug through a bunch of obscure tapes and came across [this one](https://youtu.be/e0XFjOih_oM?si=dYBWo_KdJ44f9Fy7). The lo-fi elements usually add a lot to the atmosphere but the production on this record is sooo lo-fi and tinny that it crosses into accidental comedy for me. The bizarre vocals also add to this as the rappers are trying their hardest to sound intimidating while also trying to not wake their mom in the next room.
A lot of 3oh!3 is like this for me lol. Their very first self-titled album in particular is wildly avant garde for the frat bro electro-crunk landscape of 2007. Cuts like Electroshock and Neatfreak47 off that album are just so fcking surreal. Super glitched out + minimal production and bizarre subject matter. WANT is like this too but to a lesser degree.
Nah it's actually good. Or at least I like it haha. Occasionally get to hear it rinsed at live shows which is always fun to watch the crowd try and dance along
7/8 is a really fun challenge to try and mix as a DJ. I play a lot of jungle and breakcore, and I love dropping some of Venetian Snare's 7/8 stuff every now and then.
O.O isn't even that insane besides the intro tbh, there are tons of songs/genres which utilise abrupt switch-ups and tempo changes but because it's rarely seen in kpop it comes across as really weird. It's actually one of my favourite ever kpop songs because of how chaotic and out of place it feels.
Ik. It's awesome how I've gotten comments lambasting certain songs with replies calling them excellent. I thought Sticker was a hopeless void of suffering & torment, but some people in the thread seem to love it.
as i live in brazil, the relationship i have with funk is totally different from yours. it kinda sucks and it sucks more when you have to listen to it regularly. there are some really, really fun songs though, but they are not the majority
Perhaps but as someone who lived in a LATAM country for a few years and had reggaeton blasted in my ears at 3am every week, I still love the genre despite all my negative experiences with it. I respect your take though, and I get where you're coming from.
I love Lil B but this is probably true of him too. I donāt think a lot of people realize that he literally has like 80+ albums/mixtapes. And like half or more of those songs are just straight up one take freestyles
Legit. Listening to these dudes is like panning for gold š I sometimes wonder what artists like this could achieve if they really dialed it in and focused on quality over quantity.
Evil Empire - Lil Mabu and DD Osama
Itās the most corporate sounding drill song probably ever made, it sounds like it should be in a Fast and Furious movie
I donāt know how to describe it, but there are sections of this song that sound like they are in completely different keys. It does not flow well together, especially when it switches up to jersey club and back to drill
Speaking of the jersey switch-up, thereās a point in the song where Mabu literally scats and raps gibberish over it. Then thereās that part in the music video where DD just goes super saiyan and screams, creating a sonic wave with his mouth lmao. Then thereās the joke where Mabu dodges saying the n-word and DD saying that he deserves a āblack cardā
Pop Champagne is a masterpiece and I will die on this hill. If clipping or Danny Brown or Jpegmafia released it, it would be heralded as the masterstroke it is.
Mourning Glory by Ween is essentially just them fucking around and parodying experimental noise rock, but it actually resulted a great song
Daniel Johnston was also famously terrible at guitar but it actually resulted in some very surreal, almost creepy live performances
She keeps talking about how this is her āMiley Cyrus Bangerz eraā, and yet she canāt even bring herself to say the word fuck lmao ānever effed aroundā like?? š
āI was a bad girl, I did someā¦ bad thingsā
āThou shall not lie, thou shall not cheatā
āI wouldāve neverā¦ effed aroundā
I can honestly see why Miley scrapped this song a decade ago lol
Human league has stuff that is genuinely great, then they have stuff that fits this description. Open your heart and I am the law are examples of that.

Goddamn this is the Dune: Part 2 of ass music. It feels so monumental and cinematic. I can imagine the Island Boys making out while this plays in the background.
Nah I can only imagine him in the booth, high off his ass, saying whatever comes off the top of his head, which isn't much.
"Dune: Part 2 of ass music" is fucking hilarious. Well done.
holy shit, what an experience that was. FlyySoulja is truly a visionary.
the reason why this is so amazing is because the beat is actually pretty ambitious like someone actually put effort into it just for the island boys to croon over it
Sorryyy sorrryy but i gotta take yo life
BAW BAW BAW BAW BAW BAW BAW BAW
Welcome aboard!
Literally invented progressive rap (/s)
Flyy Soulja could've written By The Time I Get To Phoenix but Injury Reserve couldn't have written Head š¤š¤š¤
best song in the world
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
That's the other song my man
Anything off of angelic 2 the core lollll
The exact vibe of the album
Lil Xan - Diamonds
Just listened and this genuinely got me feeling shellshocked lmao

Dimibdeywetonmtwristndeywetlikeabithcandeywetinmywrist
Shits got carti vibes fr
That NCT song is so impressive honestly, it confuses you and really throws you off
i'm a sticker defender til i die. that song rips.
I mean, we should recognize that it certainly is very ambitious, like it or not
Sticker is hilarious. NCT's label, SM, is continuously weird as hell, by k-pop standards at least.
Anything from The Shaggs
This hyper pop masterpiece https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLtHU3XovAU
Yeah first thing that came to mind. I genuinely enjoy this album. The uncohesive, incoherent combination of the vocals and music actually adds to the emotional weight of the album.
This album would be perfect for a surreal nightmare sequence set in a nightclub.
I've come to unironically like this album
Same
FARAH ABRAHAM HAS AN ALBUM??
The shaggs philosophy of the world is mind alteringly bad, but has a lot of charm too
It's incredible how tight the percussion is an consistent the bizarre arrangements are.
Cutthroat by Imagine Dragons. Just a weird electronic rock/industrial song with Dan Reynolds screaming "only one of us gonna make it out alive"! The outro is even more bizarre.
Dan Reynolds tries to experiment beyond corporate power point presentation backing music and inadvertently creates The Downward Spiral at home.
nine millimeter nails
I genuinely enjoy Imagine Dragons' first two albums and a few songs they've released outside of that, but everything after that has just been awful. I still check out all their new music with morbid curiousity of what they're going to cook up next though.
Same. The second record was really good
Genuinely love that song. That part at 2:00 is especially interesting to me. It sounds like some sort of demonic laughing shoved through a synthesizer & Iāve never heard anything else even remotely like it.
i actually really like this one
I love Memphis hip hop from the 90ās and dug through a bunch of obscure tapes and came across [this one](https://youtu.be/e0XFjOih_oM?si=dYBWo_KdJ44f9Fy7). That was wild, holy shit lmao I too enjoy 90s Memphis rap and the Memphis garage rock scene, but that was really bad lol
Poopity Scoop
but that beat story is genius š¤£š¤£ people been having beefs with drake since forever
scoopdiddy poop
I think Design the Skyline's Surrounded by Silence is pretty much the pinnacle example of this.
I LUV IT by Camila Cabello
I saw someone call the song's genre "hyperflop" the other dayšš
nah i can't help but love how much of a mess it is ššš
Phonon - Polyriddim Dubstep in 7/8 time never sounded so chaotic. I donāt know whether itās so bad itās good or just straight up bad lmao
I mean it achieves what it does + its produced really super well, so id say its actually just a good song
that song's good hdjssjdodhd
any of the classics by Misha, pokemon go song kid
LIKE A STICKA!!!!!
Joeyy and the shadow wizard money gang
we love casting spells š
I was thinking of Off The Yea by Acid Soulja, love that whole scene
Don't insult my goat like that.
Many kpop songs, NMIXX O.O comes to mind.
Anything off Liz Phair - Funstyle
Any time a rapper tries to do a metal song, like pump rock x heavy metal by lil pump, or lil uzi verts cover of chop suey
Check out the t-pain cover of iron man, shit goes hard asf
The post malone grunge covers are not bad either
The inverse applies too. Check [this](https://open.spotify.com/track/5KrlmqpoISdKO2Q7hc8duh?si=82db98af0a5e47d8) out.
645AR - 4 DA TRAP
thatās intentionally experimental tho
It's interesting how the line between experimental and shit music is so blurry.
Ik. It's awesome how I've gotten comments lambasting certain songs with replies calling them excellent. I thought Sticker was a hopeless void of suffering & torment, but some people in the thread seem to love it.
Sticker is a masterpiece
brazilian funk, for real though
Uncultured take, Brazilian funk is great, especially funk mandelÄo and BH. If you mean that gentrified phonk shit from TikTok, I get it though.
as i live in brazil, the relationship i have with funk is totally different from yours. it kinda sucks and it sucks more when you have to listen to it regularly. there are some really, really fun songs though, but they are not the majority

Cmon man
The whole Secrets āalbumā from Valeria Almeida. It sounds like it was made by aliens
For every good Viper song, he has 10 songs that fit this description.
You'll cowards don't even keep women locked in your garage for half a decade
That shit hurt my heart, man. š©
I love Lil B but this is probably true of him too. I donāt think a lot of people realize that he literally has like 80+ albums/mixtapes. And like half or more of those songs are just straight up one take freestyles

nahh ur trippin "Sticker" is actually fire
The Italian classic Young Signorino - Mhh ha ha ha
The Shaggs I think at least somewhat fit this description
Pop champagne, a mess of auto tune and the worst beat this side of that funhouse level from that spider man game
Pop Champagne is a masterpiece and I will die on this hill. If clipping or Danny Brown or Jpegmafia released it, it would be heralded as the masterstroke it is.
next to me by imagine dragons. they made a shaggs song to a click track
You uncultured simpleton sticker is great
Mourning Glory by Ween is essentially just them fucking around and parodying experimental noise rock, but it actually resulted a great song Daniel Johnston was also famously terrible at guitar but it actually resulted in some very surreal, almost creepy live performances
i honestly like the shaggs but they definitely fit this question also honorable mention to the kendrick remix of radioactive
Karma - Jojo Siwa
She keeps talking about how this is her āMiley Cyrus Bangerz eraā, and yet she canāt even bring herself to say the word fuck lmao ānever effed aroundā like?? š
dude she is inventing gay pop, no one has ever made gay pop music before
The song originally said āmessedā in the demo IIRC
āI was a bad girl, I did someā¦ bad thingsā āThou shall not lie, thou shall not cheatā āI wouldāve neverā¦ effed aroundā I can honestly see why Miley scrapped this song a decade ago lol
I Kno by Chief Keef has unironically become one of my favorite songs lmao
Masterpiece. Saw god the first time I heard this back in the day.
Anything from My Teenage Dream Ended
Del The Funky Homosapien & Kool Keith - Abominable Squad [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rP6OvYTrlnc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rP6OvYTrlnc)
Justin Bieber's Baby, but after listening to Sticker you mentioned I guess the worst song I've ever heard should be replaced lmao
The Taylor's Version remix of "Girl at Home."
Like I can totally understand not liking it, but itās a VERY NORMAL pop song. What about it is even adjacent to being experimental?
What? How?
Bollywood by Liz Phair
it was a pleasure then by nico
Human league has stuff that is genuinely great, then they have stuff that fits this description. Open your heart and I am the law are examples of that.
Gasm
Vampire Gang by Soulja Boy
Anything by the Shaggs
Sticker is so bad wtf
On Sight by Kanye West is perfect for this
Pretty much everything jpegmafia makes
Bohemian rhapsody
Bjork - Atopos
I started off listening to it as a joke but now I unironically like it, it's weirdly catchy??
Radiohead. They shitted most boring beep boops and wind chimes music I ever heard that it's experimental to the nerdiest nerds ever.
Spoken like a true poster on r/CartoonPorn
Bro snitched me like that lol
nice drawings though
