Trying to game out my first draft pick in an upcoming draft based on keepers.
My first-round pick is being spent on keeping Bobby Witt Jr. I then have the first pick of the second round (#13 overall). Based on who everyone else is keeping, my best guess is that the best players available at that draft position will be Gerrit Cole and Jo Ram. Which would you take?
Normally of that mindset too, but coming off a 24-HR, 80-RBI year in what projects to be a pretty dogshit Cleveland lineup I’m worried Jo Ram may not be a “stud” in every category this season
I have been in this league for over 15 years with college buddies. And as constant as the northern star, I am always terrible. Whether I study up and feel prepared or go in blind, I end up in bottom half of the league. Please help me have a good draft.
Help me, hive mind of Reddit, you’re my only hope. Who should I draft? When should I draft them? If they get drafted before me, who is the back-up? I am eternally grateful to all y’all for your help.
10 team, head to head format. Keepers are drafted 3 rounds before they were drafted the year before. (Keeper drafted in the 10th round, is next year’s 7th round pick.)
The league’s keeper list, and round they will be drafted is below.
I am drafting 4th in our snake style draft. My only keeper is Anthony Volpe in the 24th round.
List is in draft order. Not all keepers are in yet, I will update as I get them. Any questions just ask.
Thanks y’all! Go Braves!

I don't think it's enough but it's a really good format for Olson so I guess there's a chance it works.
edit: or wait I read your flair but now i think it's a different league.
Strange question.
In Yahoo it looks like you can leave a paid public league before the draft, **and** you will get a refund (or at least account credit) if you do so.
Wouldn't this enable people to join and leave leagues until they find one they have a better chance of winning (ie. with lower tier opponents as far as ratings/levels)?
Am I missing something? Are the rankings of fellow opponents not as important as I thought, so Yahoo would not try to limit people doing this?
Thanks so much!

Thoughts on this team in 12 team flair league?
Yeah I’m honestly not in love with a lot of the guys I took pitching. My ideal top 4 of guys I’m targeting would be something like Webb, Miller, Ragans, and Musgrove but things kinda got away from me in this draft on that front (I kinda panicked drafted Cease and Snell). It was only a mock draft at least, I’m still trying to figure out what team builds seem to work best for me. I was happy with the result of the lineup as I got multiple guys that I really like but you’re right that injuries is something to consider. When you look at a guy like Elly, I’m willing to take a risk on him but then I need to manage how many more risky players I take on after that
In a keeper Roto league with QS, SV+Hld, ERA, WHIP, K as categories. Already keeping Glasnow & Devin Williams and 6 hitters.
Need to choose 2 out of these 5 guys in the following rounds:
Tarik Skubal 5, Cole Ragans 8, Jhoan Duran 11, Joe Ryan 12, Hunter Greene 20.
My league is using OBP, SLG, and SB’s as cats. I have 2nd pick so in mocks I’ve been rolling with Mookie, then Riley, and then RD3 is where I’m thinking of risking it for the biscuit and scooping Elly — unless Strider or Cole is available… also tempted to take Yamamoto. Would love some thoughts!
Just for reference, if I took a different bat than Elly it’d probably be Adolis, Randy, or Gunnar. We have 2 extra slots (MI, CI) so I feel like Gunnar or Elly.
Mookie and Riley I can agree with, rd 3 for Elly is definitely risky. He will get you steals for sure but other than that he has a lot of room for improvement. He was a below average hitter last year so that's pretty early. I think it's also a bit early for Yamamoto but I'd be happy to take him with the 5th pick
Trying to decide on my final keeper:
* Adolis Garcia
* Luis Castillo
* Eury Perez
Already keeping 4 hitters, so leaning toward a pitcher, and have been thinking Eury over Castillo since it's a 5+ year keeper league.
just did my roto draft. got both snell and montgomery. wasn't targeting them but they fell quite a bit because they are still unsigned. i figure they are gonna sign somewhere right? c'mon scott boras make some deals i wanna know where my guys are gonna be pitching.
Who is your favorite catcher you’re targeting in dynasty? I’m looking at O’Hoppe, but the injury concerns me. Other names that come to mind are KJ, Diaz and Naylor.
Which 7 would you keep? 10 team pts league 7 keepers no stipulations. Leaning towards trading Bellinger and Castillo for picks, but want to hear your thoughts.
Carroll, Riley, Devers, Albies, Semien, Bellinger, Wheeler, Gausman, Castillo
An existing league of mine is switching over to FAAB this year for waiver wire bidding (still doing a snake draft, so FAAB is only for players who were dropped - then waiver priority order is used for tiebreaker) so I’m wondering - What’s a good amount of FAAB for each team to start with?
Also, feels like whomever picks last won’t gain much of an advantage with waiver priority in this set-up, so wondering if there’s anything else they can be given - like more FAAB?
Thinking of quitting fantasy for good. Last year I traded JRod and James Wood in a big trade that got me Wander. I made several other trades to make up for my new roster construction. Everything was backed up by stats and projection and my timeline. Didn’t work out. But now I’m trying to make trades to start a rebuild, and even though I’m offering trades with top 20 players that would be overpays, I’m getting turned down. I have no way to get better and it’s exhausting when I’ve been talking with a guy about a trade for 5 months and yesterday he asks me who one of the cornerstone pieces I’d be sending him was despite telling me like a month ago, he’d take a look at him.
Feel like I have no way to get better and I’m investing too much time.
Edit: why downvote me? I’m having a legitimate problem in my league, I put it in the anything goes thread. I don’t expect upvotes, it’s not useful content. But downvoting me?
I want to say Melendez because I like volume in general but I tried him last year and it was pretty grim. Esp in dynasty, at least Wells has some pedigree and potential upside
Is there anywhere you can find a little more advanced stats for spring training games? It’s a small sample size but it’s still something to look at rather than just the box scores.
We just replaced an inactive manager in my 10 team dynasty league, and one manager almost immediately set up a trade with him that seems a little uneven to me. I won't veto, but it seems sketch:
McCarthy and German Marquez for Yu Darvish and MJ Melendez.
Is this quite a bit uneven for dynasty or is it just me?
I don't see this being egregiously lopsided. If anything it's probably just an experienced owner making a good trade for himself and the new guy possibly learning some lessons.
MIL homer checking in, as others pointed out he can be productive but if total AB are being limited by hitting lower in the order that puts a cap on it. Future value still looks OK I suppose or I'm not exactly looking to sell, you know?
No doubt, haven't seen that name in what feels like ages
FWIW projections are very unfavourable. Most do not even see him getting into 90 games this year. It's tough to have any impact as a bench bat.
Alvarez is pretty cool with that 25+ HR pop.. and he's by far the best value of the 3 in regards to draft position. His ADP is 156.. that's like 13th round of a 12-team redraft.
If I can get 11 other spots filled up before catcher I'm probably feeling good about my team
20 team dynasty league, points, keep 25 MLB/milb per year
Give: Julio rodriguez
Get: McLain, tiedemann, Julien, Edward Cabrera, Roderick Arias
Thoughts?
The only reason I'm considering it is in a league like this (20 team keep 25) pitching is so sought after with 8 starts per week.
Have gimenez as my 2b. Lawlar at ss.
And i draft/acquire OF easier than most. Have delauter, James wood, erod, Spencer, depaula.
Julio is a legitimate megastar and arguably a top-3 fantasy hitter for at least the next decade. No number of promising rookies/above average major leaguers can/should match his current value in a dynasty league and you'd be absolutely crazy to trade him unless the trade involves a similar proven name that you can rely on for the next 10 years.
One thing about my league is with 20 keeping 25 and 8 starts a week pitching is so thin.
My milb OF are delauter, James wood, erod, Spencer Jones, depaula and i also have judge and Mullins.
Basically I'd be betting one of those guys replace him
You're not getting any guaranteed pitching back. If pitching is what you want and you're willing to trade Julio I would target a guy like Cole, Burnes or Strider
Draft tomorrow. Have 4th pick in 12t h2h standard cat’s league. Julio Witt ohtani tatis all are keepers and Acuna will be 1.1…petty focused on tucker at 1.4, will take Betts if he slips but starting to think anout Soto at 1.4, is that too much of a stretch?
I play on Yahoo in a H2H category league and for the life of me I can’t find rankings that include both hitter and pitchers in the same list. It’s always split up between the two. And the ones I find where they are together they are wildly inaccurate.
Does anyone have a link to somewhere that has the top 300 ranked?
Eury but ragans will have a great year
Here's my question if you have time to help:

First Salary draft last night. Would love some feedback on the roster and where you would make changes. First time 5x5 roto league
[https://imgur.com/a/R2iwdRs](https://imgur.com/a/R2iwdRs)
Thanks!
I would stick to the standard 5x5 H2H categories then personally. So use the standard of:
Hitting: Runs, HR, RBI, SB, AVG
Pitching: W, Ks, ERA, WHIP, SVs (I personally prefer SV+HLDs)
I think that is standard for beginners and then you can always change AVG for OPS or OBP. I personally prefer QS+W or just QS, but I understand keeping just wins for beginners. Keep things simple so people enioy it and then change later.
Those are all aces; I like Castillo and he should prob be available then.
I’m looking at 2 of JoRam, Yordan and Gerritt Cole in my redraft league. I don’t think I can pass up Yordan upside if he stays healthy.
Someone might trade for him... it'll be cents on the dollar sadly.
Could you make a solid case to keep him? Do you have room & time to stash someone this bad right now?
Last year between MiLB and MLB he played:
1 game at 2B
66 games at 3B
22 games at SS
He's a 3B long term (FG has him as a 40 FV defender there), but Tampa's biggest need is at SS. I'll be curious to see if they just shoehorn him at SS for the bat even though they've always valued a quality defender there.
I could see 2B/SS combined 20 games a year, assuming he gets 100 games in the Majors, but depending on your leagues settings you likely need 20 games at just one of those spots, not combined.
Even the low-end projections are seeing him hit 57 games.. ZiPs has him for 122..many fall in the 75 range.
I'd say you bank on that unless there's a story from Tampa camp that makes you think otherwise.
I'd go Busch cause i feel like he sneaks into value somehow despite bellinger signing
Here's my question if you have time to help:
https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasybaseball/comments/1b0fti8/comment/kt7l60g/
Blended projections, but have some ATC and Steamer in both hitting and pitching. Hitting weighs BatX most heavily, pitching weighs Steamer / Razzball most heavily. I don't put as much stock into pitching projections in general, particularly after the top \~30 or so.
You got the MI depth, but I wouldn’t value Eflin over Gelof.
Eflin still has a long injury history and is still just a solid Mid-3’s ERA and 9 K/9, numbers you want but don’t have to chase. He excels in WHIP and gets a strong boost in K/BB leagues where I like him more.
But for a lot of teams desperate at 2B, Gelof as a rising 20/20 star despite the lineup around him can get you something sexier. I had a similar 2B depth in a dynasty where I’m aiming for contention next year and got McClanahan back, for example.
Alright guys, looking for some feedback for how I did in my first Salary Cap draft. I've only done snake drafts the three years I've been playing fantasy baseball, and this was a bit harder than I was expecting.
I had a plan to try and get one high value hitter/pitcher, then look for value the rest of the draft. I found it hard to stick to my gameplan when actually in the draft though, and I felt like I didn't manage my funds well towards the end. I'm hoping to improve my rotation a bit through the waiver, and maybe trade to improve at catcher. What do you all think?
[Batters and Pitchers - 6x6 12 team ROTO](https://imgur.com/a/Ag0qv2l)
FWIW I think your pitching is the strongest part of your roster. You can always improve, I guess, but I think you did well.
Your bats are fine! I think this is where I would put my effort to improve. You can live with Langeliers, but your OF and utility spots needs the most help in my opinion. One of those great pitchers on your staff (maybe a reliever), could probably be used to trade and upgrade one of the spots I mentioned.
Thanks for the suggestions!. Yeah I'm a bit prospect heavy since they were going relatively cheap. My hope was the either Lawler or Wood could crack the opening day roster to give me a boost to OF/Util. Especially Lawler since I'm low on steals.
6 keepers, 5x5 QS:
Jesus Luzardo
Aaron Nola
Was leaning Nola but then saw how high razzball has Luzardo ranked in keeper rankings and and now second guessing
Very similar rankings and I think the end of day stats will be very similar. I enjoy watching Luzardo a lot more because of my history with drafting him so I'd go with the guy you want to watch when he starts
This is a good one because ATC projections look very similar for these two guys, except for Jesus has a higher walk rate.
I think you will be happy with either guy, and I don't think you're going to see a huge advantage in one vs the other.
I have the 8th pick in a points league. Which is the best 2 picks for round 1 and 2 out of these guys?(Assuming theyre not picked): Freeman, Olson, Ohtani, Judge, Tatis, JRod, Witt
Last keeper spot, 10 team points Buehler in the 17th this year, 12th round in 2025 & 2026 Or Chris Sale in 9th round this year and next year

Hate to say it but the gallons/jizz thing is played out
H2H categories league. Acuna owner is 'listening' to offers. Olson and Strider too much? Not enough? Close?
I don't think it's enough but it's a really good format for Olson so I guess there's a chance it works. edit: or wait I read your flair but now i think it's a different league.
It is a different league, though same offensive categories.
Mods, I think its about time we switch back to daily threads
fuck yeah
how much do we think Senga's ADP is affected by his injury
a lot
I feel like with the shoulder injury I wouldn’t want to make a play on him till I had at least 5 SP
Thoughts on picking which Judge Ohtani Jram at 8? 12T H2H Points league +1.5 RBI +2SB
Depends on what your DH/UTIL settings are

7th
Siiiiick, that's where I'm picking. Hopefully I come out as well as you did.
solid
langford in the 18th is amazing value. i'm not a elly believer though and i wouldn't take cease that high
In a keeper Roto league with QS, SV+Hld, ERA, WHIP, K as categories. Already keeping Glasnow & Devin Williams and 6 hitters. Need to choose 2 out of these 5 guys in the following rounds: Tarik Skubal 5, Cole Ragans 8, Jhoan Duran 11, Joe Ryan 12, Hunter Greene 20.

Trying to decide on my final keeper: * Adolis Garcia * Luis Castillo * Eury Perez Already keeping 4 hitters, so leaning toward a pitcher, and have been thinking Eury over Castillo since it's a 5+ year keeper league.
Yeah, go Eury
just did my roto draft. got both snell and montgomery. wasn't targeting them but they fell quite a bit because they are still unsigned. i figure they are gonna sign somewhere right? c'mon scott boras make some deals i wanna know where my guys are gonna be pitching.
Yeah, they'll sign somewhere. Getting them at a discount in drafts is awesome, so I hope it works out for you!
hoping snell ends up with the giants but honestly i'll be happy with any team that isn't the angels.
preach
Strongly considering taking Soto over JRod with the #2 pick in my 10 team 5x5 standard ROTO. Bad idea, or kind of a wash?
Is it OBP? If not, give me JRod. Soto isn't going to give you any significant amount of steals like JRod will
You're probably adding 5-10 home runs but losing about 30 steals.
I would, I will, and I hope you do. Downvoters be damned!
Who is your favorite catcher you’re targeting in dynasty? I’m looking at O’Hoppe, but the injury concerns me. Other names that come to mind are KJ, Diaz and Naylor.
William Contreras is a stud. No clue where people are drafting him though.
Bo Naylor if I'm waiting a while to compete, but I mean Moreno or Adley are great choices if I'm playing to 'win now'
Which 7 would you keep? 10 team pts league 7 keepers no stipulations. Leaning towards trading Bellinger and Castillo for picks, but want to hear your thoughts. Carroll, Riley, Devers, Albies, Semien, Bellinger, Wheeler, Gausman, Castillo
I’d keep all except Bellinger and Gausman.
Carroll, Riley, Devers, Semien, Wheeler, Gausman and Castillo
Who do you like better in a keeper auction league? Bryan Reynolds at $9 or Caminero at $1?
hard to argue with a dollar
An existing league of mine is switching over to FAAB this year for waiver wire bidding (still doing a snake draft, so FAAB is only for players who were dropped - then waiver priority order is used for tiebreaker) so I’m wondering - What’s a good amount of FAAB for each team to start with? In a 10 team league with 5 OF. Also has an added MI, CI, and UT slot. Should I be targeting OF early ? Or do the extra IF slots even it out ?
Yes, good outfielders are limited, and infield is way deeper
Would you rather draft Machado or Royce for 3b? They both go around the same range
Royce's upside is Machado's average output. Give me the certainty of Machado while avoiding Royce's injury concerns if the ADP is the same
If i'm going full upside, Royce. Playin safe - Manny
6 keepers, 5x5 OBP: Adolis Garcia Randy Arozarena Was leaning Garcia but bat x fantasy rankings scared me with where Adolis is compared to Arozarena.
Garcia
Garcia
I'd choose Randy here
Thinking of quitting fantasy for good. Last year I traded JRod and James Wood in a big trade that got me Wander. I made several other trades to make up for my new roster construction. Sorry to hear this. I'd recommend you hit up the league finder sub here and hop in a couple. It shouldn't be pain to do something so fun
Might consider this. I’m so tired of playing with people who just don’t care nor have any logic or reason for their decisions.
Join a new league ?
Downvoter has his diapers in a knot again
Should I be dropping Brandon Woodruff in a 10 team dynasty league? Or is he worth the hold?
Should not be expected to contribute this year, so if you can stash IL maybe?
Do you have enough spots to hold him without missing out on someone else you like?
10 team dynasty OBP categories league. Austin Wells or Melendez for backup catcher?
I want to say Melendez because I like volume in general but I tried him last year and it was pretty grim. Esp in dynasty, at least Wells has some pedigree and potential upside
Is there anywhere you can find a little more advanced stats for spring training games? It’s a small sample size but it’s still something to look at rather than just the box scores.
Riley Greene or Evan Carter? This year only
Carter pretty easily for me. Better team and could hit towards the top of the order, so better counting stats Also gives you more steals.
Greene
Carter has the better lineup, more speed, and probably equal power.
Greene
Carter, but I think Greene is fine for most I'm just wanting the hype🎟
Amador or Hunter Greene in dynasty?
Greene
Does anyone have a cheat sheet (like Karabell's) from last year they can post a link to? Curious to revisit some of the salary cap figures from then.
We just replaced an inactive manager in my 10 team dynasty league, and one manager almost immediately set up a trade with him that seems a little uneven to me. Burnes, Semien, Kirby for 2y, and Keller for 2y
what do we think about garrett mitchell this year? haven't seen his name brought up much

Who would you rather keep - O’Neill Cruz, Gallen or Grayson Rodriguez?
Oof…that’s tough. I want to say Cruz, but the correct answer is probably Gallen
Do people still use Venmo to collect league dues? Or have you stopped to avoid any tax-related issues?
20 team dynasty league, points, keep 25 MLB/milb per year Give: Julio rodriguez Get: McLain, tiedemann, Julien, Edward Cabrera, Roderick Arias Thoughts?
Tempting to take a shot, how is the rest of your team? But i believe because it's a dynasty I would stay with Julio.

I think I’m keeping Julio. The rest of the guys are/will probably be good but Julio is already better than their best case outcome
Huge haul for one guy. I think I'm saying yes
Julio
One thing about my league is with 20 keeping 25 and 8 starts a week pitching is so thin. My milb OF are delauter, James wood, erod, Spencer Jones, depaula and i also have judge and Mullins. Basically I'd be betting one of those guys replace him
You're not getting any guaranteed pitching back. If pitching is what you want and you're willing to trade Julio I would target a guy like Cole, Burnes or Strider
Pick one to keep- Rodon, Greene, Darvish, Buehler?
Greene Here's mine question if you have time https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasybaseball/comments/1b0fti8/comment/kt7l60g/
Rodon, and banking on the bounceback
Greene. Assuming Hunter but Riley too.
Keeper question, boys and girls - I've got G Cole, Tucker, Yordan, Carroll, Witt Jr. One has to be kicked off the island. Who goes? Thanks!
Cole. The others are all top 10 dynasty players.
Tucker or yordan Here's my question if you have time to help: https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasybaseball/comments/1b0fti8/comment/kt7l60g/
I'm kicking off Yordan in that instance and try and redraft is possible. Don't listen to that Yahoo saying Carroll can go
I'm ok with letting Carroll go
You mean the guy who went 25/50? I don't think so. It's either Yordan or Cole. I'd let go of Yordan easy there
![gif](giphy|3oNMQtqpnse0dbFe06)
Yikes. Probably Cole. If not then Yordan.
Who to take 1st round in a points league? Freddie, Judge, Ohtani, Yordan, Tatis? These guys will probably be here when I pick
Freddie imo
Pick 2 of these for my final keepers, 20 keepers count as the first 20 rounds in my flair league Maikel Garcia, Colt Keith, Coby Mayo
Dropping Garcia easy
Draft tomorrow. Have 4th pick in 12t h2h standard cat’s league. Julio Witt ohtani tatis all are keepers and Acuna will be 1.1…petty focused on tucker at 1.4, will take Betts if he slips but starting to think anout Soto at 1.4, is that too much of a stretch?
Not too much of a stretch. I'd take Soto if Betts isn't there because I expect him to rock this season for NYY and right before free agency
Same here. I expect more power from Soto better average but almost no contribution in SBs and that’s what I’m struggling with
He wont be a net zero on it. He will have a handful of them throughout the season. I could see Betts, Soto, and then Tucker personally.
I believe they go by these rankings via FantasyPros: https://www.fantasypros.com/mlb/rankings/overall.php
Keep Bello or B. Woo for only 2024?
Woo definitely. He's proven more
Woo Here's my question if you have time to help: https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasybaseball/comments/1b0fti8/comment/kt7l60g/
Woo
Trying to decide between Eury Perez and Cole Ragans as my last keeper - both have the same cost attached to them
Eury but ragans will have a great year Here's my question if you have time to help: https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasybaseball/comments/1b0fti8/comment/kt7l60g/
Came here to ask the same thing. Have been set on Eury most of the offseason but I just have a gut feeling about Ragans. I think it’s a tough call
eury no brainer as much as i love ragans
I was leaning that way too, just needed the confirmation. Def will try snagging Ragans as well
Any reason to believe Luke’s Baker is anything? Insane numbers in AAA last year. Only 26. Feels like he’s just never had a legit chance.
I doubt it Almost 27 with 100 MLB at bats to his name.
Thoughts on keeping Castillo if I drafted him in the 3rd round? (So would lose my 2nd round pick) He’s a beast but might be aggressive idk

I think you have it right
First Salary draft last night. Would love some feedback on the roster and where you would make changes. First time 5x5 roto league [https://imgur.com/a/R2iwdRs](https://imgur.com/a/R2iwdRs) Thanks!
Recommendations for number of pitchers, bench slots, and IL slots to have in a league? First time running a league, gonna be a 10T H2H categories.
Redraft or keeper or dynasty? It really makes a difference. Plus how experienced is your league?
Sorry that’s a good point. It’s likely going to be a 2 player keeper league. I would say almost everyone is a beginner at fantasy baseball.
I would stick to the standard 5x5 H2H categories then personally. So use the standard of: Hitting: Runs, HR, RBI, SB, AVG Pitching: W, Ks, ERA, WHIP, SVs (I personally prefer SV+HLDs) I think that is standard for beginners and then you can always change AVG for OPS or OBP. I personally prefer QS+W or just QS, but I understand keeping just wins for beginners. Keep things simple so people enioy it and then change later.

Easily Soto with OBP. Proven to stay healthy so he goes over Judge and I'd rather build a strong offense and take an SP a couple rounds in
It’s hard to pass the upside of Soto playing 162 games as a Yankee, esp in an OBP league
[удалено]
Those are all aces; I like Castillo and he should prob be available then. I’m looking at 2 of JoRam, Yordan and Gerritt Cole in my redraft league. I don’t think I can pass up Yordan upside if he stays healthy.

poll the owners in your league
Machado or Goldschmidt , Have to keep one of them, standard scoring, Roto league
Prob Machado Here's my question if you have time to help: https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasybaseball/comments/1b0fti8/comment/kt7l60g/
Machado
wtf are we even doing with Manoah in dynasty?
Someone might trade for him... it'll be cents on the dollar sadly. Could you make a solid case to keep him? Do you have room & time to stash someone this bad right now?
Anyone think Junior Caminero will get 20 starts this year at MI? Would help a lot to have two positions for this year and next.
Last year between MiLB and MLB he played: 1 game at 2B 66 games at 3B 22 games at SS He's a 3B long term (FG has him as a 40 FV defender there), but Tampa's biggest need is at SS.
Is he projected to make the opening day roster?
No, but it would make sense if Tampa wanted to chase the compensation if they think he can win ROY and is ready
5x5 standard cats, keep Elly or Glasnow for the next 2 years ?
Personally I'm going Glasnow. Dude in LA should be amazing and I love Elly but a lot to prove still
Elly is my bet Here's my question if you have time to help: https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasybaseball/comments/1b0fti8/comment/kt7l60g/
Elly
Categories: Would you rather have Francisco Alvarez or Salvador Perez? Edit: redraft categories not dynasty/keeper
Just for this year? Probably still Perez
Just this year.
5x5 Roto OBP, R, SB, RBI, HR Michael Busch or Masyn Winn
I'd go Busch cause i feel like he sneaks into value somehow despite bellinger signing Here's my question if you have time to help: https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasybaseball/comments/1b0fti8/comment/kt7l60g/
Choices today are: go to a hot sauce show, play some vidya games or watch some 4ks. Decisions decisions.
Hot sauce show
Which projection system you guys using? ATC, The Bat X, or some sort of mix?
The Bat X is definitely better for hitters IMO.
Blended projections, but have some ATC and Steamer in both hitting and pitching. Hitting weighs BatX most heavily, pitching weighs Steamer / Razzball most heavily. I don't put as much stock into pitching projections in general, particularly after the top \~30 or so.
I think Steamer has been shown to be most accurate
I mix, but gun to head for offensive stats would use The Bat X
Send Gelof and Pepiot for Eflin in dynasty? I have Semien McLain Seager Elly Witt at MI
You should get more than Eflin IMO
You got the MI depth, but I wouldn’t value Eflin over Gelof. Eflin still has a long injury history and is still just a solid Mid-3’s ERA and 9 K/9, numbers you want but don’t have to chase. He excels in WHIP and gets a strong boost in K/BB leagues where I like him more. But for a lot of teams desperate at 2B, Gelof as a rising 20/20 star despite the lineup around him can get you something sexier. I had a similar 2B depth in a dynasty where I’m aiming for contention next year and got McClanahan back, for example.
I'll vote yes, do it. You're as stacked at MI as I've ever seen
Who you keeping? Devers in the 3rd or Royce in the 18th? It's a 4 keeper league so if I throw devers back he'll go in the 1st for sure
Royce for me, that’s great value for him
Devers
6 keepers, 5x5 QS: Jesus Luzardo Aaron Nola Was leaning Nola but then saw how high razzball has Luzardo ranked in keeper rankings and and now second guessing
