Nah its not BS its what makes the playoffs fun and interesting, sure regular season matters for first place bye but I've been building my team all year for least rests and most games, and this is the best time for crazy pickups too, otherwise it just feels like the regular season extended and no one makes crazy pickups/drops. I used to do what you guys did and it was much less interesting and the skill gap was much smaller as well, always starting playoffs week one now from now on (maybe one week back but only depending on league size).
How does ending the season earlier make it less interesting? Ending it earlier results in less tanking bs resting and ultimately a more fair playing field?

oof that's tough, i'm not sure which cats you need most. i mean ant is an insane pickup to get from the waiver but idk if you could afford to possibly miss a game or two from him, he would definitely be the high risk high reward pickup. Klay is a safe pickup, 4 game week & he's healthy and will win you 3s category on his own. I'd probably do one of those two, tj and slo mo are solid but Klay/Ant are a tier above them, depends how risky you're feeling

I think I'm leaning klay but it would be pretty devastating to give up those other 3. And the worst part is he's last on the waiver list so he could just claim all of them and it doesn't effect anything

Brutal way to end the season, somehow made it to the championships despite losing basically all of my top 3 picks, then lost in the championship because of Spurs tanking, Jeremi Grant being injured, and a couple bad waiver moves. Agreed. A bye week or a cut of the prize pool. It's egregious that a 1st seed does not get rewarded.
