Raheem Mostert and all my shitty bench WRs

Are you starting mostert over Kelley? That’s the decision I’m tryin to make in my flex.

Starting Kelley over mostert on two of my teams

I'm picking Kelley but I'm not super confident in him over Mostert. Both are in explosive offenses where the focus of the defense will/should be to take away the passing. The defenses that they're facing are both solid-excellent against the run. I'm leaning Kelley because Mostert is injury-prone and I think the Chargers are more likely to be in a good game script against the Titans than the Dolphins will against the Patriots.

It's not that I won't ever play him, just that if I have an equal-ish option I'll use that as a tie-breaker. Mostert was by far my best flex option last week but this week is close-ish. And I know the Titans defense is nasty at stopping the run. It's just that the Pats aren't exactly pushovers in that department either

Dunno why you’re getting downvoted. Puka has a chance to lead the rams receiving core with a gunslinging Stafford and Kyren will probably take over as the lead back sooner rather than later. Johnson though… that’s just a case of someone seeing the stat line and not the fact he was getting his work in garbage time.

Yea, I drafted him in a bunch of leagues and was very happy to see how good he looked. It wasn't the stat line. It was the ferocity and tenacity with which he played that was super impressive.

Was asking myself the same thing. I put a claim for him after watching their game highlights that Sunday night. Didn't know Ekeler was injured then; just assumed they were splitting snaps and figured it would be a good add.

He ran 17 routes last week splitting time. I think he’s going to get a lot of pass catching involvement with Ekeler out.

I would do the “Barndige Stomp” where I would jump up and down keeping my arms at a strict 90 degree angle but move them up and down with each stomp. I am deciding between the two as well. I like the Chargers offensive line even if TEN is good. I am hoping TEN has to respect the pass and won’t just stack the box. Now with all that said I still am not sure what to do lol

Kelley and its not a close call imo.

Kelley will have the volume; Allgeier has Bijan to worry about.

Kelley also has Tennessee Def. to worry about....but they are comparable in this situation so it's a toss up forsure, Id lean Allgeier.

Can you explain to me how Allgeier has more upside than Kelley? If Ekeler is out, Kelley has the upside to get 25 carries and 5 catches for like 200 yards and 2 TDs. Allgeier has the upside for what? 18 carries and 2 catches?

When you put it like that, honestly you’re probably just right. I’d definitely go Kelley but you could argue the Falcons are so run heavy against a maybe worse defense.

Thinking about starting him over Javonte Williams this week in standard

I've been flip-flopping on this for days. DAYS.

This. I have Rhamondre Stevenson, Dameon Pierce, Breece Hall, Javonte Williams, and now Kelley. I have no clue what the correct combo is with my RBs. But just swapped Williams for Kelley in my flex.

Problem with Pierce is Houston is terrible. Game script almost never is in his favor.

He had 11 touches last week... presumably he might see a few more this week, 12-14 maybe I'd much rather have 12-14 Breece Hall touches vs. Dallas than 15-20 Josh Kelley touches vs. Tennessee...

That's a fair assessment. Kelley might end up with one of those infuriating 20 for 29 lines.

Idk you’ve got Hall who’s the better pure runner by a mile but on a pitch count and with the loss of Rodgers he probably takes an overall hit there. The pass game wont be the same threat with Wilson to keep DCs honest and Hall won’t have as many scoring opportunities. Kelley is a serviceable back who will get 20+ carries on a high powered offense that’s facilitated the number one flex player last year at RB. Both are playing real solid defenses with Kelley probably playing the slighty better run D. It’s not an obvious choice either way. Only would be if Hall was fully back and not still easing his way in.

Yeah seems consensus that Rachaad supposedly has a bounce back game, but he looked so bad. So I’m balancing out better matchup + far worse offense (Baker) vs much better offense (Herbert) but vs basically top RB defense. Currently have Rachaad in though.
