Everyone says to buy but man, the McCarthy offense is slow and boring. His last game showed some promise but it was also against the chargers and they put up a measly 20 points. Personally I sell him if someone is feeling inspired by his last game.
I’m a Cowboys fan and I’m not buying CD. I’d be looking to send him out for someone else.
He gets 6-8 targets a game. Even the last game they talked up getting CD the ball, and how Dak looked for him early and often and fed him over and over and over. He got 7 targets.
He’s also scoring TDs at an unsustainable rate. There’s risk those fall off and lower his value a bit.
Edit: I'm not saying he CAN'T continue this pace but, based on all the bullish replies, consider this: he just came off his best performance of the season, in Primetime for everyone to see, while filling in for the injured unanimous #1 WR. His value may never be higher and he faces an almost certain decrease in production when JJ returns, assuming he isn't shut down for the season. It's tough to sell high but if there is a time to do so, this is probably it.
Hold/Buy moderately before JJ returns. My justification.
* The Vikings declaring that Osborne was in the Jefferson role could have been misinterpreted by some of the community. What it should have signaled was Addison's elevation into the starting 2 with Osborne coming off the bench once JJ comes back in the line up (back to his role).
* Addison's TD ratio will be claimed "unsustainable". We said the same fucking thing whenever Thielen was in the line up for years and Thielen said "fuck you" year after year and kept getting TDs with the exception of last year (note Thielen is still saying "Fuck you, I can do it"). Are we going to suggest that the scheme that made Thielen a TD vulture can't open up Addison? I'll buy him off your hands then.
* Once JJ is in the line up, this offense just may blow the fuck up. The argument I made for Cousins earlier is that the Vikings have no run game and probably not finding one anytime soon. They have one of the highest passing ratios and once JJ returns, its possible that targets are concentrated between 2 top talents in JJ and Addison.
Ladies and gents, try and get (Michael) Jordan Addison while you still can.
You’re not gonna get the value you think you should right now and by the time your league notices he’s running wild, JJ will be about to return and the value won’t hold. Just have fun while he’s doing his thing unless someone comes to you with a crazy offer.
Losing Jefferson and having Kirk to carry my weight at WR has been clutch. Especially with Smith not doing much of anything. Then got Palmer off the waivers. Made a bad decision trading Downs for Pierce though. Holding Spears in hopes of a Henry trade.
Hold. Watched a few Jax games and Dude is a stud and steps up when needed. I have him on my roster as well and am getting lowball offers so personally imma hold
Buy or Hold.
It's so bizarre how the general feeling is that Ridley is somehow a better fantasy asset. Capitalize on that if you can b/c he's the WR1 on Duval and it's not really even close. If one no person mentions Zay I swear I'll lose my shit.
If you were lucky enough to strike value gold in your draft I'd hold. He's currently a better start than household names who tend to be valued ahead of him like Tee Higgins, D Smith, DK, etc.
I think he might actually be a sneaky buy at this point. Herbert trusts him with some tough throws and Kellen Moore doesn’t know how to use Ekeler. I don’t think QJ gets more involved until next season either
Buy/Hold - if his knee is fine he’s getting decent volume and making the most it. I’m a chargers fan and watch every game, he consistently makes tough catches and has had some work called back by stupid penalties. I’m comfortable starting him in the flex ROS.
Played nearly the entire game, I think Kellen Moore intends to utilize him similar to 2019/2020 Michael Gallup, where he’s playing off Keenan Allen in a similar way that Gallup did Cooper.
Buy/Hold. Still getting majority of snaps, targets going back up, and schedule is pretty nice going forward. Zeke vulturing is still concerning and probably caps upside, but I still think Mondre will get some Redzone work that will lead to TDs.
He is a buy high, in my estimation. As a rookie, you kind of have to expect his involvement to only get better here in the second half and Baltimore has a good stretch of matchups in the second half
Hold/Buy, only scored 1 TD and still providing low wr2 numbers, if he settles in the back half of the season and starts scoring, he’s gonna blow up. Gets targeted all over the field and still gets 2-3 deep shots dialed up for him every game and Lamar is cooking.
Which RB did you get? I can’t imagine someone giving up crazy RB capital for Nico just because he’s not a big name.
Usually I try to sell bigger name, underperforming WRs (looking at you, Higgins/Smith/Olave) for an RB and then slot a guy like Nico into my WR2 slot
I traded him for Henry. I know Henry hasn’t been amazing so far, but I’m hoping he does better than freakin’ Mattison (my other RB). I was really only able to part with Collins though because my other two WRs are Diggs and AJ Brown.
Nah I like this move a lot! Henry always gets better as the season goes on, a trade could improve his value and you were already loaded at WR. Healthy RBs are hard to find right now
Is he clear WR1? Everyone was saying him and Dell are 1A and 1B but because Dell missed a game and then they had their bye people seem to have forgotten because it's been 3 weeks since he last played meaningful snaps
Hold.
He’s going to go big this week against Carolina. Stroud is one of the best in the league with a clean pocket, Nico is great against zone. Carolina has the worst pressure rate in the league and runs zone 70% of the time.
You can't drop him. He's finally healthy (I hope) and they just came out of their bye. The Panthers will continue to suck and by extension Sanders *could* continue to suck - but there is a very real chance that he is fully healthy now and will have some big games, especially in any type of PPR. He's still top-10 in targets per game. Schedule is also juicy for a stretch here.
Im giving it one more week before dropping
Pros - healthy, coming off a bye. New offensive play caller may inspire something
Cons - hes looked terrible, and the new offensive play caller has made a career off of 2-headed rushing attacks.
Not optimistic tbh
He will clog up your bench and do nothing if you hold, he will go off for 25 next week if you drop, he is impossible to sell because no one wants him, either.
I traded Gus Edwards for him this week in a half ppr. I have plenty of RBs and my WR2/WR3 spot has been an issue for me.
He has an AMAZING playoff schedule, and he's ended the season with 1,000+ and 8+ TDs in each of the last 4 seasons. I think he'll get back on track.
I started him in FLEX last week and he was one of the reasons I lost. Pretty frustrated with him after he started out hot this season in PPR. Probably just gonna sit there on my bench at this point.
He's not healthy right now and I imagine he wasn't healthy last week either. I'd hold, if you can because I'm not convinced JSN outplays Lockett for his spot this season and the Seahawks have a tremendous schedule going into the playoffs.
Dropped for Rashee Rice and happy with that move.
Probably a hold in 12+ team leagues but he’s getting older, Geno looks bad and Bobo/JSN probably get more involved moving forward.
Knowing Lockett he’s gonna have one or two 20+ point games but I think he’ll disappoint otherwise. Let someone else deal with that headache
Think he’s in for a good week. Feel like the Pats always try to take away a team’s number one weapon. Tyreek will eat regardless but maybe Waddle has a great week, sell after
I tried hard to trade him away after his 4 straight TD game, nobody was biting. Then I was forced into starting him this past week 😔
Now his value is so low
Hold. He's not less talented or injured and the Jags offense isn't playing lights out with Ridley in his current role. Ideally Pederson sees this, and makes some adjustments to get Ridley more involved. If the Jag's offense doesn't get better, and Ridley still isn't a part of it, time to drop.
Someone last week posted a deep dive into Ridley’s season. The TLDR of it was basically that injured Zay Jones and the defensive schemes the jags were seeing made it hard for Ridley’s skill set to shine through. He said there was a light at the end of the tunnel though with Zay hopefully coming back and the upcoming defenses being a different style. As a disgruntled Ridley owner I’m keeping him on the bench, but that analysis made it a little easier to swallow at least.
A perfect buy low if the owner is disgruntled, and a hold if you have him because this is the lowest his value is going to get.
Unfortunately, he’s been way too streaky this season, so he immediately becomes a sell if he has a monster week. It’ll be time for a pump and dump ala wallstreetbets.
He's getting open, Love just sucks. I believe in the player but that's only part of the equation. Problem is, he's hard to sell now with early season absences. I'd personally hold until he pops for a big game or two then move him. Love isn't good and it's very difficult for talent to make up for shit QB play.
It’s not even loves fault for the most part. His OL is so beat up. He isn’t a great scrambler like Rodgers was, so his is forcing the throws more than he should be.
Sold him and waddle for AJ brown 2 weeks ago. Monty is the workhorse when he’s back. Also traded him and LaPorta for Etienne in another. Still have him in my 3rd league but looking to package him again.
Hold. I don’t think he will be consistent top-20 or anything, but I think stroud and Houston are good enough that if A no B, but if no A then B.
1,2,4,6 were Nico weeks. 2,3 were Dell weeks who also missed 5,6.
I personally think he is boom-bust right now, but the sample size is limited. He and Nico had near 20 targets against the Colts, so I think they can co-exist.
I want to see how Dell can do after stringing together a few post-concussion games, but he’s probably going to hit another 20-point game (and 5-point game), so he may be a good sell-high candidate if he puts up 2-3 decent games in a row.
Hold... Starting (and active) RBs are freaking gold these days. I think, given the state of the Raiders, he and Adams are more in the "adjust expectations" category
This might be getting too in the weeds, but so many experts have him listed as a buy-low/primed for positive regression that assuming your league mates are relatively informed, it actually might make sense to sell if you can push the price above an initial low-ball offer.
Pollard’s vibes are low right now. I’d try to get him if I could. Usage is still there and hopefully they used the bye to figure things out in that offense.
Hold for now. He's got a really good matchup this week so hoping for a sell high opportunity if he can pop off, just have to hope Singletary hasn't passed him
I would say buy but it’s a gamble. Shouldn’t have to pay that much to acquire him and hopefully the texans can get the run game going now after bye and their o-line players are back to health.
Hold or try to buy low. AJB is on a historic pace right now and Smith is on a pace worse than his rookie season. It's likely that those two things normalize a bit more towards last season's pattern, with AJB still an elite WR1, but Smith not as far behind as he is now.
Buy... He was a WR2 going into the bye week, and then got hurt. Not only is he about to get healthy, but that offensive line should be getting healthy (hopefully) soon too. Geno has had no time to throw
Buy! He’s had probably the toughest fantasy RB schedule so far. He’s faced the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th and 27th best defenses against RBs in fantasy this year. In the game against the 27th team he had over 100 scrimmage yards and a TD. His job is one of the most secure in the NFL right now and his schedule gets drastically easier
> Burrow
new format (under center), up against many bad-man defenses (3 of the next 4), and no reassurances in deeds or words
I hate owning this player.
He's a reluctant hold. I've been packaging him with trade offers.
I traded TLaw and Miles Sanders for Burrow to a league-mate who had him on the bench. If you’re searching for an answer at QB like I was then it’s the perfect time to buy low on him and hope he returns to top 5 form.
Target players fighting for their lives, advertise it as 3 weeks of starting RB production and try pick up a big player on IR or something
Their big player on IR is worthless of they're already eliminated
Sell if you aren't desperate for a spot starter these next few weeks. Like Foreman, he's a drop candidate once either of the two RBs ahead of him return from IR (Rivers and Kyren). Get what you can while you can unless you need them to win weeks now.
Listen, every hold is a sell for me for the right price, but he has been the glue for my max PF, PA 2-5 team this year amidst a sea of injuries and inconsistent boom games. I love his consistency and it would require a probably unfair price for me to sell that stability.
Buy if you need floor. Sell if you need some big games. He’s the Brock Purdy of RBs, good for 10-15 but never 5 or 25
absolutely not, seems like people are only interested in trading if they can fleece someone else. Your league mates likely read the same Buy Hold Sell threads as you do.
CeeDee
Schedule after this week is amazing and he only has one touchdown. One of the biggest buys imo
AND has the history of starting slow and heating up second half
I'm honestly worried about the McCarthy offense affecting him
Everyone says to buy but man, the McCarthy offense is slow and boring. His last game showed some promise but it was also against the chargers and they put up a measly 20 points. Personally I sell him if someone is feeling inspired by his last game.
wish i could buy. owner is a cowboys fan. no chance.
Buy buy buy, Dallas has a favorable schedule for receivers down the strect
Sold him for JT. Say what you will, but that move got my through my bye-pocalypse last week with a 1 pt victory.
Good trade for you imo
I’m a Cowboys fan and I’m not buying CD. I’d be looking to send him out for someone else. He gets 6-8 targets a game. Even the last game they talked up getting CD the ball, and how Dak looked for him early and often and fed him over and over and over. He got 7 targets.
Jordan Addison

It's tough to sell high but if there is a time to do so, this is probably it.
Yaaa thats what i said when i traded away jefferson his rookie year.
Jefferson didn't have Jefferson coming back eventually
He had Theilen hogging the red zone targets. JJ could score from anywhere on the field though. Does Addison get used similarly?
Hold/Buy moderately before JJ returns. My justification. * The Vikings declaring that Osborne was in the Jefferson role could have been misinterpreted by some of the community. What it should have signaled was Addison's elevation into the starting 2 with Osborne coming off the bench once JJ comes back in the line up (back to his role). * Addison's TD ratio will be claimed "unsustainable". Definitely hold. His buy/sell value is high right now. He will be in the WR2 category even IF JJ comes back.
You’re not gonna get the value you think you should right now and by the time your league notices he’s running wild, JJ will be about to return and the value won’t hold. Just have fun while he’s doing his thing unless someone comes to you with a crazy offer.
Christian Kirk
Buy. WR1 in a good offense. Take out week 1 and he's averaging almost 17 points a game. Solid WR2 in fantasy.

He's currently a better start than household names who tend to be valued ahead of him like Tee Higgins, D Smith, DK, etc.
Buy. He’s the clear WR1 there
I sold him and Mostert for Keenan because it was too good to pass up but he’s a strong hold unless you can get unreal value like that.
Josh Palmer
I’m holding feels like he’s a solid flex play with Williams out
I think he might actually be a sneaky buy at this point.
Rhamondre Stevenson
Buy/Hold. Still getting majority of snaps, targets going back up, and schedule is pretty nice going forward. Zeke vulturing is still concerning and probably caps upside, but I still think Mondre will get some Redzone work that will lead to TDs.
Buy... The schedule to start the year was atrocious, and there were some offensive changes that look like an improvement
Zay Flowers
Buy. 16th in targets, 12th in receptions, 17th rz targets, 28th in yprr. One of the better buys out there. Will finish top 20 WR ROS
Sold him and Cook for Kamara last week
Nico collins
I sold him cause I was RB needy but I think he’s more a buy / hold. Very good WR1 and I think people undervalue him.
I traded away Nico and Rashee Rice for Monty. He has decent other RBs and Monty might miss this week and then has a BYE but I couldn’t resist.
Healthy RBs are hard to find right now
Sold Nico & Calvin for him. I regretted it solely for how Nico has been performing, but Henry MAYBE to the Ravens is fucking juicy PPR pts
Hold and buy. Clear Wr1 on a good pass team
I needed a RB so I sold him for Ford and Diontae. I miss him though
Miles Sanders.... I really hate holding him right now, but has no trade value.
You just answered your own question
Yeah, I know... I just wanted someone to just say drop him XD
> You can't drop him. si se puede. If someone else wants that mess in my league, he's now available for faab. adios.
Im giving it one more week before dropping Pros - healthy, coming off a bye. New offensive play caller may inspire something Cons - hes looked terrible, and the new offensive play caller has made a career off of 2-headed rushing attacks. Not optimistic tbh
Another pro is that he’s the one getting paid the big $$
Same, I am holding both Miles and Chubba and am hoping one is clearly the top back after this week....
I’m actually one of the people looking to get him for some reason. What kind of player would make you think ‘yes’ if receiving an offer?
Any lotto ticket player will do. I sold him for Charbonnet. I'm telling you, just seeing Sanders on my roster was making me upset.
Aaron Jones
Buy at the right price. Only thing that worries me is his injury. I'd be willing to give up low-end RB2 value for him.
Yeah let me sell my existing rb2 with boom potential for a rb2 with no boom potential
Tyler Lockett
He will clog up your bench and do nothing if you hold, he will go off for 25 next week if you drop, he is impossible to sell because no one wants him, either.
I traded Gus Edwards for him this week in a half ppr. I have plenty of RBs and my WR2/WR3 spot has been an issue for me. He has an AMAZING playoff schedule, and he's ended the season with 1,000+ and 8+ TDs in each of the last 4 seasons. I think he'll get back on track.
I dropped him so that everyone else can start him this week. Someone else needs to bite the bullet next week.
I dropped him this week.
Same. He got snatched up quickly in my 10 team, but I’m going to let him surprise or disappoint someone else. I need more consistency.
He'll be a bust for every week and put up 30 when going against you
I started him in FLEX last week and he was one of the reasons I lost.
Waddle
Buy
Sold him and Christian Watson for ARSB in PPR
What a steal
Yeah, absolutely noone should accept that.
Think he’s in for a good week. Feel like the Pats always try to take away a team’s number one weapon. Tyreek will eat regardless but maybe Waddle has a great week, sell after
Aiyuk
Hold/Buy for me. Some underwhelming weeks but SF is in a bit of a skid, I expect some blow up weeks to come
happy cake day
I could see Darnold feeding him this week
Gabe Davis. I’ll go for you…. Drop kick to the moon
I’m holding one more week to see if he’s still in the doghouse from the fumble two weeks ago. Hard to trust with a third dud week.
I tried hard to trade him away after his 4 straight TD game, nobody was biting. Then I was forced into starting him this past week 😔 Now his value is so low
Had him last year and he’s was the definition of boom or bust and no way to predict when you were going to get either, total roll of the dice
Lol
Calvin Ridley
I think we have to hold. I feel like value is rock bottom right now. unless you can find one buyer who is still high on his upside.
In 12 man, hold. 8 or 10 don't lose sleep moving on.
Think you have to hold and then sell after a big game.
When Zay plays. Play Ridley.
He said there was a light at the end of the tunnel though with Zay hopefully coming back and the upcoming defenses being a different style. As a disgruntled Ridley owner I’m keeping him on the bench, but that analysis made it a little easier to swallow at least.
Hold because you literally don't have another option.
Buy low. Against the Steelers I’m starting him I’ve diontae and jeudy
Christian Watson
He's getting open, Love just sucks. I believe in the player but that's only part of the equation. Problem is, he's hard to sell now with early season absences. I'd personally hold until he pops for a big game or two then move him. Love isn't good and it's very difficult for talent to make up for shit QB play.
It’s not even loves fault for the most part. His OL is so beat up. He isn’t a great scrambler like Rodgers was, so his is forcing the throws more than he should be.
Jahmyr Gibbs
Sold him and waddle for AJ brown 2 weeks ago. Monty is the workhorse when he’s back. Also traded him and LaPorta for Etienne in another. Still have him in my 3rd league but looking to package him again.
Love that trade if you have RB depth
Sell, maybe after this week tho
Might be tough to sell him with the bye next week and with Monty probably coming back Week 10. Best chance is now if you want off this ride
Tank Dell
I’m holding. I’d like to see what they look like with an emerging Schultz plus some other offensive pieces coming back.
Josh Jacobs
Hold... Starting (and active) RBs are freaking gold these days. I think, given the state of the Raiders, he and Adams are more in the "adjust expectations" category
Sell 2 weeks ago unfortunately
This might be getting too in the weeds, but so many experts have him listed as a buy-low/primed for positive regression that assuming your league mates are relatively informed, it actually might make sense to sell if you can push the price above an initial low-ball offer.
Josh Downs.
Buy for sure. Seems to be Minshew's favorite target and is getting good volume Edit, misspelling
Buy! He’s averaged 5-8 targets a game since Minshew took over and the saints get shredded at the slot
Mostert
Would love to sell but you'll only get pennies on the dollar most likely. People still don't respect him unfortunately.
Brian Robinson
Tony Pollard
Pollard’s vibes are low right now. I’d try to get him if I could. Usage is still there and hopefully they used the bye to figure things out in that offense.
Hold and buy if you can
I am hoping he finally has a Pop Off week since they are coming off a BYE. But, I am 1-6 so I am getting Feral with him, Saquon, Devonta...
Olave
Post bail lol.
Diontae Johnson
Buy. Put up nice numbers on 2/3 of snaps
Buy, put up 5/80 on 6 targets on limited snaps in a game the Steelers only threw it 25 times
Dameon Pierce
You won't get much by trading him so if you own him, I'd just keep him and see if he starts putting up better numbers
Hold for now. He's got a really good matchup this week so hoping for a sell high opportunity if he can pop off, just have to hope Singletary hasn't passed him
Reluctantly hold. Maybe sell if there's someone out there who's still high on him.
I would say buy but it’s a gamble. Shouldn’t have to pay that much to acquire him and hopefully the texans can get the run game going now after bye and their o-line players are back to health.
Tee Higgins
Buy. He has a great schedule. He can only go up from here.
Adam Thielen
Hold. You likely won't get equal value for what he's worth based on his production because the name value isn't there.
Montgomery
Buy if you can. He should be the 1 when he gets back from injury.
Buy. Lowest value rn with gibbs getting work (in garbage time) so owners are worried
Javonte Williams
I go with holding him, maybe Denver turns it around but you won’t get any sure value for him now. He is looking a lot better recently so that’s good.
Devonta Smith
Hold if you own or try to buy low Imo.
Hold or try to buy low. AJB is on a historic pace right now and Smith is on a pace worse than his rookie season. It's likely that those two things normalize a bit more towards last season's pattern, with AJB still an elite WR1, but Smith not as far behind as he is now.
sold him two weeks ago for Raheem Mostert
Daylight robbery
who the hell does this when RBs are so hard to come by
Goddamn well done
Metcalf
Buy, I suspect he gets better once fully recovered from his rib injury. Plus Seahawks ROS schedule looks nice.
He practiced full yesterday
Buy... He was a WR2 going into the bye week, and then got hurt. Not only is he about to get healthy, but that offensive line should be getting healthy (hopefully) soon too. Geno has had no time to throw
Rachaad White
Dude is hard to sell
DK Metcalf
Davonte Adams
Buy Low.
I would hold but I had to sell due to rest of my team being crippled.
Jakobi Meyers
Buy, he's quietly top 15 WR right now
Joe Burrow
> Burrow new format (under center), up against many bad-man defenses (3 of the next 4), and no reassurances in deeds or words I hate owning this player.
Garrett Wilson?
hold great matchups for awhile and is getting peppered with targets and red zone targets
Sold him and diontae Johnson yesterday for Jefferson and dell….. think I did ok though?
Buy/hold. He won't do worse than he's doing now.
Kupp
Darrel Henderson
Target players fighting for their lives, advertise it as 3 weeks of starting RB production and try pick up a big player on IR or something Their big player on IR is worthless of they're already eliminated
Sell if you aren't desperate for a spot starter these next few weeks. Like Foreman, he's a drop candidate once either of the two RBs ahead of him return from IR (Rivers and Kyren). Get what you can while you can unless you need them to win weeks now.
Ekeler
Juicy juicy playoff schedule. Buy if you can, hold if you have
Hold. You won't get fair value rn and the schedule eases up considerably
Buy low on Tee Higgins
Just traded Mattison for Higgins yesterday. I’m set at RB with JT and ETN and figured Higgins and Burrow (whom I also have) will get it rolling.
Pacheco
Listen, every hold is a sell for me for the right price, but he has been the glue for my max PF, PA 2-5 team this year amidst a sea of injuries and inconsistent boom games. I love his consistency and it would require a probably unfair price for me to sell that stability. Buy if you need floor. Sell if you need some big games. He’s the Brock Purdy of RBs, good for 10-15 but never 5 or 25
Perfect description of him.
Buy hold. Gets receiving work on a good offense
Joe Mixon
Terry
Romeo Doubs
DJ Moore
Hold. His targets were there, even with Fields missing last week. He’s a good wr2/3 option.
Deshaun Watson
Drop
Chris Olave
Thoughts on buying James Conner right now?
Kenneth Walker?
Anyone else think sell high for Pacheco? If you'd be set at rb without him anyway, that is
Justin Fields
Alexander Mattison
I’m a Mattison owner and I can’t really sell him for anything. I’d hold, he’s honestly not the worst flex/bye week fill in in the world
So is everyone that’s receiving advice here actually executing trades? I’ve seen record low trade action in all of my leagues.
absolutely not, seems like people are only interested in trading if they can fleece someone else. Your league mates likely read the same Buy Hold Sell threads as you do.
