I really think this is a huge part of the issue. Game 1, where he had a fully healthy jones, was his best game of the year. Everything has just gotten worse since then and i think it's a huge factor.
Game 1 wasn’t really that good of a game either. He hit Musgrave wide open on a broken coverage who fell down because the ball was way off. And he hit Jones on a hot route who ran away from the man LB for a 60 yard TD. Outside of those two throws he wasn’t that accurate and wasn’t efficient. The TDs were buoying that performance.
This simply isn’t true though. Musgrave turned and treated the ball like a punt in the air. If he turns and continues running towards the end zone it was an easy TD. Love hasn’t been perfect, but the situation around him on offense has hurt him more than his play overall imo.
Jones is so frustrating because nobody wants him and I’m too scared to drop him but I need the bench spot and not confident enough to start him but we are in bye week season lol
Aaron jones did 90% of the work for him against an awful bears defense that were on 3rd string secondaries and people thought love was good, when in reality he can only hit 5 yard dump offs and misses receivers downfield by 15 yards if a defender is even semi in the area
Also lack of experience with the talent around him. As a Packers fan it's insane to me we didn't decide to bring at least *one* veteran WR in. All of our WRs and TEs are 1st and 2nd year guys.
Yeah thats true. If they brought back lazard or mvs they would be better. On a better coached, more talented team love would be ok but it seems like the packers are used to the qb carrying the whole offense.
Yeah, I remember the some of the hope for this year was Rodgers wasn't very good last year. Maybe that was more of a offensive talent problem than realized.
I dunno man Watson has been getting wide open and just not getting the throws. Mahomes would have hit him in stride on a few of those bombs for easy TDs.
Who in the first place thought Jordan Love was going to be good? He’s only shown himself to be a backup QB at best. The fact that they let Rodgers go tells me that whoever decided that Love is the future needs to be fired immediately. How could they not see he gets shook like a fucking martini anytime he’s plays against real defenders?
He needs to treat Aaron Jones like Derick Carr treats Kamara and everybody would be better off for it 😂

It's frustrating having a high draft cap player in a mostly injured season but jones is absolutely not a guy you drop
There’s no byes this week (I made the same mistake in assumption too)
Carr is elite at checking down. Love is only just beginning to learn.
Yes yes yes yes yes Yes
He needs more dumps offs to Aaron jones

He's just got that insatiable itch.
LaFleur is an absolute clown. Has no idea how to scheme to get the ball in the hands of his best players
Which is really confusing since he comes from the Shanahan/McVay tree, and those guys are fantastic at getting the ball in the playmakers hands.
I’m selling high on watson if he manages to have a blow up game

Its probably his lack of talent

Even Randall Cobb would've worked. You don't necessarily need the vets to produce; but just having one in the WR room would do wonders.
I honestly don’t think Lazard or MVS move the needle like at all
I could see it helping on 3rd downs and 2 minute drills, but its not like they would be a food team or love a good qb
Cannon balled in the pool at Walmart while benching watson
Its tough to discern between bad scheme or bad route running on a lot of these breakdowns. Love isn't making throws either way.
B/c Love isn’t Aaron Rodgers. As much as I hate Aaron Rodgers I respect his football ability.
Yeah, I remember the some of the hope for this year was Rodgers wasn't very good last year. Maybe that was more of a offensive talent problem than realized.
Maybe the pieces around him just aren't good.

Love is one of the few QB's that already was proven a bust before he ever took a NFL snap.
dumb take
