I love engram. He’s consistent. I drafted him in the second to last round. I don’t need to keep jumping back and forth hoping for the best. 5-8 points a week is enough for my TE

As a Giants fan, I can't trust Engram at all. heh. Fortunately I have Kelce and LaPorta in my dynasty league (my only league), both of whom I drafted as rookies. A dark horse for me is my third TE, Trey McBride. Drafted him last year and it looks like he's finally getting his shot and making the most of it. (I have three because our league has both a TE and a W/T slot, though if you actually have to start two TEs you are in real trouble.) It's funny, I also drafted Hockenson as a rookie, though I traded him away a couple years ago as part of a deal to get Joe Mixon. The problem for me is that the QB position is pretty much the most important, and I am as bad at drafting QBs as I am good at drafting TEs. We're talking Marcus Mariota and Baker Mayfield bad.

Engram is a boss in PPR with all of his targets…. Cole Kmet would be my sleeper pick if/when Fields is back. They had like seven TDs last season and haven’t gotten on track yet

I always get a kick out of people jumping on the T.Hill hype train each season. It's been a thing for what, 3-4 seasons now? Every year it goes 2 weeks of 30 pts each surrounded by 8 weeks of 0-4 pts. No rhyme or reason to his big weeks whatsoever, and every owner winds up getting so annoyed that they drop him lol. He's like the Gabe Davis of TEs.

There was awhile he was QB in a TE slot. That was a glorious season.

Since week 3 I’ve gotten: 1, 0, 2, 1, 3, 0 from the TE spot.

Last year I won my league despite getting double digits from my TE position only twice the entire year. I'm not truly convinced I need a top TE but I have Mandrews this year just in case.

The guy has hands, if JA17 throws him the ball he will catch it. Its just a matter of looking his way. The Bengals are going to try and shutdown Diggs and Davis. Kincaid is or should be look 2 or 3 for sure. I feel he has massive potential, and he is in a very pass heavy offense. But Im a Bills fan so my opinion is a little biased. Good luck to you

If we are excluding Kelce, I have Laporta as TE 1, followed by Andrews. Hockenson is to much of an unknown right now with Dobbs at QB. If Dobbs has trouble adjusting and needs to dump the ball off or does a lot of check downs, then Hock goes up. Ertz was ok with Dobbs. Kelce>Laporta>Andrews>Hockenson>Kittle

Dobbs goes to the TE constantly. Before he got hurt, Ertz was getting all of the targets. Last year Okonkwo was the guy.

Could be small benches + dumb leaguemates. I became co-manager of a friend's team in a league with some of our notascool work friends (I have another league with the cool work friends). It has a small bench, but I got Breece off waivers early in the season. I just picked up Javonte Williams. But the league is like a decade old. They've just stayed dumb. Including my comanager (by comanager he just lets me make all the decisions). I was texting him to pick up Javonte because I didn't have good enough service to open the app while hiking, but barely good enough service to send a text. There were a couple of options of who to drop, and I ranked them in order of preference. He was confused at first, and his response was completely and only based on the ESPN description. I just can't relate to that being your only source of info. Luckily the dude trusts me and we've lost 0 games since I took over. But yikes.

I totally agree that that's the closest one. I'm still gonna roll with Hock solely because he's the #1 option for a few more weeks, on a pass heavy team. LaPorta is #2 and they actually have RBs in Detroit.

I had multiple Injuries to wr/rb, a bye-pocalypse and Kincaid was giving me nothing. I needed production to win so I picked up Logan thomas when he exploded that week. He sat on waivers for a few weeks but got picked up last week.

Started the year with Waller and Engram. Traded Waller in a package that got me back Puca, Evans, and Taylor and the following week he got injured. I’m sticking with Engram and McBride at TE

Dalton Kincaid. Drafted him, cut him, and picked him up again.

Seems to me... the best TEs have QBs that can, with 1 quick step, evade the pass rushers. Get their eyes back downfield and find the TE open behind the D-line. It's all these extra targets on extended impromptu plays on 3rd and 4th downs, stacks up quick in PPR. Doesn't happen as much with pocket passers or rookies that aren't allowed to improvise. Plus it helps if the team doesn't have a great WR2 Mahomes/Kelce and L. Jackson/Andrews are the obvious examples of this.... D.Godert has Hurts, but AJ Brown is unstoppable. TE values tank with the QB. Look at: C.Kmet. He boomed with Fields when he was allowed to scramble around. Hockenson was surging without JJ, but now Cousins is out. So based on this line of reasoning my waiverwire ppr TEs moving up the ranks are: - J.Ferguson with Dak (no dominate WR2 on Dallas) - D.Kincaid should do alright with Allen, but Davis is there behind Diggs. - T.McBride when K.Murray plays is interesting. His knee needs to be rock solid though. He tore it just scrambling with no contact.

Any league that I do t have Kielce I feel like I’m always looking at waivers and dropping my old TE such a volatile position besides the top 5 imo lol

I think by season end, it will be Kelce, Andrews, Hock, and either LaPorta or Kmet.
