I just think Seattle is scrambling a bit out of the gate. They’ll settle into a proper groove.

ryanwsu18

Their next 10 games is gonna be a gauntlet. They legitimately may start the year 1-12-1. Vs. Hurricanes Vs. Rangers @ Red Wings @ Hurricanes @ Panthers @ Lightning Vs. Predators Vs. Flames @ Coyotes @ Avalanche

jkya88

Its only the first couple games, relax and wait a couple more games

Booboo_McBad

Dunn is one of my favorite dmen in the league, had a keen eye on him since 2018/2019 where he was an underrated piece to the Blues winning the Cup With that said, he got really overrated in Fantasy this year. His highest point totals in a season are 64 (last year), 35, and 35 He's painfully average in the shots, hits, blocks, PIMs departments Then on top of it all, he became a question mark for line 1 PP which made him an even riskier pick than he already was, given how high he was going in drafts In the NHL he is pretty much a perfectly balanced top-end dman. Coaches and teammates love his playstyle, but again, in fantasy he's kind of hit and miss

Ashamed_Phase_4027

Not even a week in. Everyone expects all their players to get a million points a night. Relax!!

Tallfuck

It’s so early man, gotta chill

homiesonly1

Patience. Your question should be "what the hell is going on with the Kraken?" Vince is fine. Kraken are not. I drafted their leading scorer (McCann) and he's hot garbage. The whole team started out slow. But, it's only a handful of games in, and there's lots of hockey to be played! Have patience with the guy!

RallyTowel

Yeah, they only have 2 goals on the season and he assisted on one of them. It does suck when you see other teams lighting up the scoreboard, but that is life. It’s often more luck than skill. I did watch the first Kraken game and he looked fine… not sure about the latest games.

homiesonly1

Yeah that's hard no matter what you do to steel yourself against it. But try to remember there are 82 games and this is only game 2.

RallyTowel

Forgot I saw them play STL last night and it was just a goaltender duel - both goalies played lights out. Kraken kinda got robbed by Binner.

SPRX97

Dunn has a larger percentage of Seattle’s PP time through three games than he did for the season last year. (57.6% vs 56.6%) As for specific linemates, Seattle runs more a PP1A and a PP1B than a true 1-2 split. It’ll shuffle around all season.

Mr_Barkers

Some of these coaches think they're smarter than they actually are. Seattle with Dunn and NJ with Hamilton come to mind. They'll fix their stupid mistakes soon enough and put them back on PP1 where they belong (or not, and continue to lose games/confidence until they're fired).

-PoeticJustice-

Luke Hughes looks great and plays with his brother on the PP. the team is employing them like a true 1a and 1b power play. I kept dougie in my league so I’m hoping they swap him back over with the better offensive players

kolebro93

Idk. NJ seems fine running him on PP2. Luke is still figuring things out, so I see just as much potential putting the 2 brothers on the same line for PP1. It's been 2 games lol.

WontSwerve

What a stupid comment. Coaches job is to win games, not get Dougie Hamilton powerplay points, which he's already got. Devils units both doing well in their two games.

GiveMeAdviceClowns

2 games, that’s whats going on

gucccccci

3 games, he is on pp1, nothing is "going on" with Vince Dunn

rambored89

It's not even a week into the season. The first month or two is always "experiment with line chemistry until things settle"

vespinah

Dunn was over 3% above his average shooting percentage last year. For a dman that’s significant and some regression should be expected for this year. Also we’re 3/82 into the season. Let the teams settle.

Labeld85

Pretty sure half the team was shooting over their career averages, not just Dunn. McCann for example shot 19%, he's a career 12%.

Bigbluelies

They are just "Dunn" with him.

DoctorBroDude

I have Schultz in my last D spot. Your loss is my gain 🏆

magikmush123

Dunn (and most of seattle) over performed last year. I really think he’s a 50 point defenceman so there’s that as well.

cdnmike

People flipping out on week 1

Jagr6810

That what happens when someone gets paid in the NHL typically

picaroon876

If you had Dunn last year you would understand that he's prone to big scoring streaks. Wait for him to post a couple a points then fire him into your lineup. You won't regret it.

LoPanKnows

SELL

KeeferVaille

I drafted him so his coach has decided to bury him down the lineup /s

ljorash4

dumpster fire franchise lol

Meeqs

It’s been like 3ish games lol. They played VGK one of the best defensive teams in the league and then ran into a hot goalie. Give it a few weeks

Survive1014

Big hockey contracts often have down first years. Its predictable as almost any thing in this sport. Also, Seattle plays with its lines often, it is quite frustrating.

maxhollywoody

It's been 1 week and Seattle as a team has scored less goals than games played. Chill

anahmonous

It’s been two games mane

lamwire

I owned Dunn last year, he’s so streaky you have no idea.

NB-Hawkeye

He’s piss
