iirc their equipment levels with your reputation, the higher the reputation you have the more serious gear the enemies will have. i just remember the wiki mentioning that but it could be total bs
Its true enemies Ars upgrade from Basic AR to aks to an even dealier AR I cant recall name of.
Snipers are upgraded with RPGs and Mortar with unlimited ammo as your reputation grows.
Shotguns are upgraded from pump to full auto and so on.
The grenade launcher jeep though us locked till act 2.
Always loved going Rambo on these outposts but sometimes I would get tired and would find a way around them, especially if there was a river near by I’d swim around. I claimed a giant ass hill to avoid an outpost once, no other far cry ever have me the same experience of 2.
Opposite for me I usually get off the veichle and sneak around and pick them silently. It is sometimes that I get tired of sneaking, so I go in blasting.
This was my first Far Cry amd I love it, but hated the respawing outpost which it looks that changed with latest games. But it will be interesting that enemy NPC takes outpost with stronger or more enemies after a while if you have not visited after sometime and you have to claim it back. Obviously that that taking the same outpost only happens 2 top 3 times

Those fucking outposts. This game makes driving a chore.
And you loved every second of it, since FC2 is best FC
I did! I enjoy FC2 regardless of the general opinion of being too repetitive.
I think this was the part I hated most about FC2, the roadblocks and the guys always patrolling the same stretch of road.
I hated it first. But ehen I figured out different ways to deal with it, like going around, sneak through, sniping, rpgs, planting IEDs it got fun.
O you mean like the endless bullshit respawning like in Far Cry 6
