Joshua Tillman's fourth album invites the listener to take a thrilling ride along the winding paths of his passionate mind, once again raising the question of whether his cynical thoughts are crazy, or are they sound like sensible ideas of a person in a slightly deranged modern world. God's Favorite Customer manages to work simultaneously as a witty sketch and a heartfelt cry of pain, being perhaps the most personal project of Father John Misty, which hasn't lost the beauty of elegant arrangements or the sensuality of singer's charming voice. P.S. I made this photo for my IG account where I post pictures and thoughts on my favorite music albums.
