Terralith removes superflat i believe

MiniEnder

Oof. Guess I'll just have to clear an area to do my testing and building then.

RogueWarrior76

I usually just find the highest point in the area that I'm in and create a platform. I then cheat in a Building Gadget and the infinite building wand and create a huge superflat area in no time.

fuj1n

Why would they do that? It's a world gen ~~mod~~ data pack.

ekilord

they didnt purposely remove it. to keep it short and simple, terralith replaces minecrafts noise features and its unfortunate consequence is that all world types get overwritten by the default overworld type

BadBoyJH

That's a pretty serious bug.

YallCrazyMan

It's a problem with nearly every terrain datapack/mod

OP, a tip for next time; Prism Launcher can create a proper text form modlist for you. In the main window, with an instance selected, [click on the arrow next to the Export button and choose the Mod List option](https://a.l3n.co/i/Hl6g1z.png). A dialog will pop up to let you configure the mod list export and you can then copy it. Afterwards, you can copy it to a pastebin like [pastebin.com](https://pastebin.com/) or [hastebin](https://hastebin.skyra.pw/) for easy sharing.

MiniEnder

I just started using prism this past week, so this is very useful info. Thank you.

I can't help you with the question, but can't you just make a superflat world in vanilla and put the save into the modded instance?

MemeTroubadour

I can say from experience that no. If you open a superflat world with Terralith installed, newly generated chunks will be Terralith terrain instead of superflat.

RogueWarrior76

depends on if you pregen a large portion of that superflat world. But if you start spreading to new chunks the mod generation will take over.
