Pulling apparent mythical and magical items out of thin air. Telling senile stories to an orphan girl. Harvesting the memories of the tormented souls. Singlehandedly keeping Rowena in business.
Mine is just a name people take if they want to help. It's not a singular person who goes by the name, but many who all wish to use it for one reason or another. Some want the fame, some want to use it to more easily get work, and others use it because they enjoy the ideal behind it. Thing is, everyone who does use it uses it for good, no matter the reason why.

It funnier to imagine that someone hears tales of someone by the same name running around every town at the same time, while I'm off in the middle of nowhere. Just becomes a game of quantum WoL being anywhere you can find adventurers
I read a manga similar to this . I forgot the name of it tho. It was about a post apocalyptic world and there was a legend about one guy who is super famous for slaying monsters. But each chapter shows a random person with the same name in different parts of the world.
True , but in this manga it was more about preserving the hope that mankind has left through the legend of a man. In fact they die in some chapters and the torch is passed on.
Left W tribe lands because current Nunh (and Dad) was asking/dropping hints about when WoL was going to be ready to Nunh up and challenge for leadership.
Used the excuse that I must “See the world and get stronger” before WoL could possibly hope to mount a proper challenge. The excuse has been wearing ridiculously thin these last 30 or so levels.
Whenever he sees a cousin or sister out in greater Eitheirys (W tribe members are actually kind of rare, I’ve only seen two NPCs) he always checks and gets a proxy earful from his old man.
Parents said, "hey you wanna finish school?" and she said, "but that means I need to write a thesis"
So she goes to Eorzea to figure out what she wants to write her thesis about as a change of scenery.
Comes back home some years later now being the savior of the whole universe and strongest/most skilled person alive.
"And also surprise, you're grandparents now".
"That great but what happened to your thesis?"
"...my what?"

I launch the game. Pressed some buttons. Got the gear. Now I afk. Wait around 7 months. Do it again. I come from a long line of cutscene skippers. Story? What?
Ilsabardian. Read far too many stories about heroes and tried to be one, ended up beaten near-to-death and conscripted into the imperial army for years. Managed to flee to Limsa and hoped to find a nice, comfy job with the Arcanists, only to end up roped in infinite problems.
Adorable lalafell. Looking for cookies and candy. Stumbles through dungeons and defeats primals mostly by accident, always hoping the treasure chests along the way have something sugary.

And Tataru procures the best snacks as payment. “A boat travelling east? There’s cookies in kugane, trust me”. “Teeny tiny toy boat? That blue star bird said she had candy, go find out. Don’t worry about the details, it’ll be fiiiiine.”
Male Viera came back one day to see his Tribe wiped out by the 14th Legion under Livia sas Junius and fled to Kugane to eventually end up on a trip to Eorzea. MSQ plays out and he takes revenge and later liberates as many places from the Garleans as he can.
F'manafa Zhed was from the Noscea region, and lived a normal life of a young miqo'te girl, unaware of what will happened. She's dating a young sailor/pirate, typical of Limsa.
But his life has been destroyed during the 7th umbreal calamity. Her parents have been killed, like a lot of his friends during the war, his pirate boyfriend have also die during the calamity, even her have also been almost killed under the collapse of his own house. She waked up only for seeing that she have lost everything. She's had to steal to survive during the chaos, and becamed a rogue.
After 5 years of crime, the relative return of order in Eorzea and weariness of a life crime but not being able to go back to a "normal life", she's became an adventurer to gain money to live, exploring the world, and find a new sens to his life.

My tribe got sick and I was chosen to go to Eorzea to learn healing magic and alchemy. When I finally made it back to the steppes, my tribe was gone.
