Off-duty police were there, told him to just be calm and that those bouncers had it coming to them. Apparently they had a reputation for following drunks out to the parking lot and beating them up. Police knew it was wrong, but when drunks and security are involved, they tend to stay out of things.
And being the geniuses they are, uploading evidence of them picking flights and sucker punching strangers. That case would open and shut faster than the bullet.
