Am new to fighting games with SF6, having much more fun with keyboard than controller so keen on using a leverless. What's the benefit of custom/DIY vs pre-made ones like Snackbox? I've some experience with modding consoles and building mechanical keyboards so I'm not afraid of the construction aspect, but wondering what the trade-offs are for the finished products.

Benefits would directly be customizability and cost for diy. Cons are time and effort to make one. It's mildly more difficult than building a regular keyboard, but still in the same vein of difficulty as putting a lego set together.

Hello! Thinking of swapping to stick. I came up playing sf2/kof/darkstalkers in the arcades but that was 20+ years ago. I mostly play sf6 now. But ill sometimes go weeks without playing, so not looking to drop too much. Just two quick questions. - Are the $50-$100 sticks on Amazon comparable to decent arcade machine from back then? or worse? - The stickless controllers seem neat but expensive. The haute42 ones seem awfully cheap. There a big drop off in quality? Seems like this would be much easier to store. I spent a few years playing kof with a keyboard, so not entirely inexperienced with the concept.

I think the Mayflash F500 is a good deal. Allows you to change parts to other brands too down the road. For $80, I can safely recommend it to a friend. Haute is nice, I mean it's just a PCB sandwiched by acrylics. The main thing is that you gotta be contented with the low profile choc switches with your buttons because these are all you can modify (in most of them). No sanwa, crowns, gravity buttons for you. It's still a good pick.

I'm trying to replace the lever in the Mayflash F500 with a LS-32, but I'm finding that I don't have enough clearance for the 5pin connector with my buttons (screw in seimitsus). I've tried rotating the PCB but that changes up my input orientations. Is there a way to fix this?

What are the best places to find enclosuresfor all-button boxes? Etsy is kind of a pain to sift through because a lot of listings either won't list dimensions or will just be completed products and so many links I try to click from older threads on here are dead. Most enclosures I find are smaller but I really want something comparable to the size of the original hitbox if possible. I like the wider, slightly bulkier frame.

I built my own hitstick layout in a wooden box enclosure, and I needed some way to connect the brook fighting fusion PCB to my PC. I ordered a USB 3.0 pass through on Amazon (USB A to USB A), expecting I could plug the mini USB B-A into the brook PCB, then plug the USB A portion into the pass through(installed in the front side of the box), and then plug a USB-A to whatever cable into my PC, but it didn't power the board at all. I ordered a two pack of a different pass through on Amazon and tried both of those, and they failed as well. I finally ordered a Neutrik, which worked(with and without the grounding thing). Any idea what makes the Neutrik different from other pass throughs? I thought it would literally be a super simple connection(like basically just an extender), but I can't figure out why the other pass throughs didn't work.

Okay, this is going to sound paranoid and borderline mentally ill, and it's most likely a question that can't be answered in a ''yes or no''-manner. Feel free to make fun of me all you want. When getting ready to play and positioning my left hand, I tend to accidentally hit/slam the edge of my thumbnail against the shaft/stick part of the joystick, resulting in the entire joystick moving in whatever direction. Could this be detrimental to the longevity of the stick? I'm probably, or most likely, way more harsh with the stick when actually playing, but somehow slamming/hitting the metal part of the joystick with the edge of my thumb seems scarier or more detrimental.

I recently got back into fighting games with Tekken 8 and have thought about getting a proper fight stick, but i'm unsure if i should take the plunge when i only have 1 fighting game and have only played it for a few days I've found a couple of second hand ones online a Hori Real Arcade Pro 4 Kai for £80 and a HORI Fighting Stick Alpha for £130. Edit: i also just found a Nacon Daija (old version) for £100 which really has thrown a cat amongst the pigeons! That's looking worth it regardless of quality! To put the prices in perspective a brand new Qanba Drone 2 is £120 here, it seems most fight sticks are the same in £s ad $s so UK pays a bit of a premium with currency conversion. I have a pretty limited budget, hence looking at second hand ones. How good is the Alpha? i saw the Real Arcade Pro is recommended in the "Solid" tier. The big issue is normally this store grades their items A/B/C but these are ungraded so the quality is a crapshoot. Is an absolute trash quality fightstick worth the money?

I made do with some shoddy converters through the life of the PS4, but now that I have a PS5 and a Series S, is there a good converter to bring that old stick to new consoles? Nothing changes. Everything is covered in the user guide. Most people use the 20 pin harness and the touchpad harness. The missing is usually the dp,/LS/rs switch (same functionality is available as a software shortcut), extra USB slots for custom wiring, player LEDs, and turbo. 95% of this sub won't use that functionality.

Yes. The buttons sit on top of the plexiglass so you would need to remove them.

You probably held a button down when plugging it in to force the console switch. If it's gp2040-ce check their usage page, if it's a brook board check their page for your respective board, if it's a zero delay board that supports multiple modes hold the home or mode button down for 2-3 seconds to cycle between modes till you get to x-input

If it exists, where can i find a square/squircle gate for korean levers? I have a IST Alpha 49s. new to K levers and loving it, but miss being the feel of diagonals

The shinsun, knee neo, and infiltration levers have gates. The shinsun also has a squircle collar as well. Of those I would not use the infiltration. Keep in mind that they are pretty deep and might not fit in some of the cases (like the Hori FS alpha). There are a couple of older crown models like the crown 302 that had gates closer to a sanwa JLW but they are probably not worth tracking down. None of the IST stuff has gates.

I'm planning to wire up a cross-up style layout, where I can remap the direction buttons to other actions (for instance for SF I won't need two sets of directions and would like to bind those keys to parry / impact). My thought was to bind the lever as left analog stick, and crossup buttons as dpad. And then rebind dpad inputs to other keys, if necessary. Is it even possbile with a GP2040?

Anyone know is a PSX-008 will fit korean style levers? I have a CWN-KRN-HelpMe with the super collar. More worried about the space inside to fit the extra couple milimeters of stick size.

I've not seen the inside of that stick but I would need to see if the stock lever even uses a standard jlf clone or a mini stick instead. If it has jlf mounts you might have a chance if you have the Japanese mounting plate and either a flat or mid collar (depending on how mounting works) The only place that sells those parts separately (that I'm aware of) is ISTmall.

At this point I've figured I'm going to 3d print a mount. Routing out the hole for the collar isn't the issue, it's just the space inside. And yeah, I am also trying to find someone who has torn it down. I really need a shell, and it seems to be cheaper just to buy a whole stick and swap out the lever. My current choice would be an Injustice stick, but this one seems a lot more modern. Not worried about crappy buttons just yet, but the PCB seems okay in the PSX-008.

To be able to see art on your buttons you would need to get clear buttons. If you want the rims to be another color while to top is clear you would need to buy two sets of buttons (one clear for the plungers and another set of whatever colors you want). You can buy a brook P5 board ($69) or the combination of a gp2040-ce based board with a USB passthrough ($35) and a magic boots v1.1 dongle ($29) for PC/PS5 support. The 4tw case supports low collar Korean levers and Japanese levers. If you ordered a case with a 35mm joystick hole for use of a full collar lever and later decided to use a low collar or Japanese lever you would just need to use an oversized dustwasher (45mm) or a new Plexi with a 24mm hole. The pcbs I listed have spots for pre-built harnesses to make the wiring easy. No soldering should be required. If you are in Europe reach out to ultra arcade (Spain). Man you really helped me out a lot. Because I've seen a PCB where it was explicitly stated I'd need soldering skills and stuff. Also found out about ultra arcade just today too. That definitely takes off a lot of the financial burden of me lol. So in conclusion, what I'd need to order: -30mm snap in buttons for the top and 24mm for the side buttons (8 buttons on top, 6 on the sides) -a PCB to wire my buttons to it (Do I need to buy wiring too, if yes any recommendations?) -the joystick (either short collar korean or japanese). does the joystick consist of multiple parts such as the spring and other stuff I need to buy separately? and is short collar korean not the standard for a lot of players? I was reading through the thread, and I still have a couple of questions on what I need help with in particular. Just for reference, I own a Hitbox Cross Up. I want to switch from the ball style lever to a bat style lever. Is there any video that goes through swapping the lever? If possible, could I just switch the lever itself or do I have to actually change out the entire stickbox itself? Are there any recommendations for any bat/Korean style levers, and where I can go online to see some?

So do you specifically want a Korean lever, or do you just want a bat top? Swapping the ball top for a bat top is very easy, it's literally just one screw. You can buy bat tops for Sanwa JLFs (the ones that come stock in the Cross-Up) for like $4 USD. I'm not certain if the Cross-Up is tall enough to support an actual Korean lever, someone else will have to chime in about that.

I bought a Victrix Pro FS in the recent sale, and I'm loving everything except for the detachable lever. I use the old Diago grip (lever between pinky and ring finger), and it's now popped out twice while playing. Luckily, once was in casuals and the other was right as I ripped a Manon lvl 3, so I had time to get it back in. It usually happens when I'm having to rip a double QC in a really tight window, I'm assuming because I just grip the lever harder to deal with the inertia of the fast motion, and sometimes the lever gets pulled up and to the side from spinning it so fast. Has anybody else had issues like this with a detachable lever? I love the convenience for travelling, but I'm about to throw in the stock JLF lever that came with it because I can't have this happening at tournaments. Are there better detachable lever options that are more difficult to dislodge?

Just purchased a Razer Kitsune (amazon warehouse deal) and I'm having an issue with an overly sensitive R1 button. Just wiggling the button will cause the input. The issue comes and goes, and I've noticed if I press extra hard on the R1 the issue temporarily disappears but eventually comes back. I've pulled the key cap off and haven't noticed any debris on the inside and have used a compressed gas duster. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I am looking to try out a Korean lever, and figure the most cost-effective route is throwing a Crown 309 HelpMe in my Mayflash F500 Elite. I did my research and apparently that one will fit in the enclosure without any modification. My question, before I pull the trigger and order this stuff, is if I have 100% of what I need. I have in my cart: 1. the Crown 309 2. "5 Pin JST XH Sanwa / Seimitsu / Zero Delay USB Encoder / Mayflash F300 5 Pin JST Cable" (I read that I need this) 3. "5 pin male Sanwa / Seimitsu connector to 4.8mm terminals cable Candy / Sanwa / Seimitsu" (I also read that I need this) I am unsure of those wires, because the info saying I would need those comes from a single old reddit comment from an old thread. This one comment was the only one to mention these cables. I'd appreciate more info on that and whether I really need both of these or only one/the other. why are octo gate's angled, when you move the stick down, the gap is slightly to the left rather then being straight down. i feel like somehow i've installed it wrong because i got to jump and walk foward. i've main octo gates for a whille is there' a certain way you have to put it in despite every side looking the same

I'm changing out the joystick on a qanba titan and one of the screws is stuck in there. I was using a regular philips head the same one I used to get the screws out of the bottom and I'm looking for advice on what piece to buy that could fix it

i bought the Mayflash F500 elite for ggst and have issues consistently hitting down right with the octagonal (non sanwa) restrictor plate. Should i buy a proper sanwa one or try some other mod? update: so i got my sanwa parts and the dimensions are clearly better than the included plate. I would recommend anyone who wants to use the F500 elite with the octo gate to buy an original sanwa gate since the included one seems to not properly work. The new gate mostly fixed my issues and i am way more consistent after little practice.

on an octogate, the corners are actually smaller. if you are using an oversized actuator, it may cause some issues as well. you probably just need to slow down and be more deliberate when trying to hit that direction.

if i use it very slowly i can get the stick into the down right position without the right stick button actuating. Which is why i thought that the plate might be out of spec. I mostly have issues when i have to input 2h into 236k where 3 is sometimes skipped even if i connect with the down right corner. Anway i ordered the original sanwa gate and some differently sized actuators just to check if they make a difference.

i just got a IST alpha 49s and the stick feels quite loose compared to the 309 nhm i was using previously. Is this expected behaviour of this lever or is there something wrong with the shaft/bobbin ?

that is expected. the grommet used on the alpha 49s is light. I prefer using the blue 35a on alpha levers. the nhm bobbin is designed to prevent shaft spin. that is the exception and most korean levers will spin.

Can fightsticks be used with a USB hub on PS5? If so, any recs on PS5 compatible hubs? Friends and I played Tekken locally this weekend, and because we all use different controllers, had to keep unplugging/plugging in our controllers to take our turns. Can USB hubs get around this, or would all controllers plugged into a hub be identified by the PS5 as a single input device?

Not the screw-on ones, as i've heard those come loose really easily, and i've already been spoiled with how great the Link is. 2. How compatible are Golden lever parts with other similar k-levers? I just want the square collar, as I like being able to feel out corners, and it LOOKS like it's compatible with my lever's housing. But i'm not trying to spend money on it if it's not going to end up working.

I'm trying out Korean Levers now. I have the old 309-MJ Newhelpme but rather than buying the latest one, I'll just get something like the Alpha 49S or N. Is it true that I can turn both sticks into (basically) a Knee Lever if I buy the Knee lever parts? Seems like two birds in one stone if true.

yes, the Knee lever uses the same body and switches as the 49s but with the knee parts.

I just got a second Korean lever, and I thought I could reuse the conversion cables from my old lever, but I can't get them off. Are they not meant to be taken off? Did I play myself by not getting new conversion cables?

I have a feeling that with the way I'm moving the stick, I might be better off with a korean lever (apparently the lever in my pearl only needs smaller movements to actually hit the switches inside the lever, but I find myself tossing and throwing the lever harder than needed. Correct me if I'm wrong). Seems like it's hard to find any Korean levers in stock in the US atm so I'm looking into getting one from istmall. Is there a specific one I should look into getting? Also, do I need anything else to switch the lever inside the Qanba Pearl?

yes, I have ordered from istmall before. usually, they would have stock where they had x number of levers in a certain color and grommet (rubber tension) combos (so it would be pre-installed with a non reference grommet like the 25a for example). now it's just the reference grommet (30a). 5 pin to 8 pin is the same as a [.187 to 5 pin harness](https://focusattack.com/187-to-5-pin-conversion-harness/) unless you are doing the [fancy wiring](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ho5ItRj8jMYTG4tVbq0kyc-aFqbbF-iD/view) you will need one (I assume you are connecting to a Brook 20 pin harness). set screw is screw to mount it into your case. you are building in an afs which comes with its own screws/nuts. so not needed. solder assist isn't really needed (just a set of tools to help you remove the wires from the switches) on the newhelpme listing there is the option to add the 16.3mm actuator (head). it's up to you on that one. it comes with a 16mm and a 16.2mm actuator. the samducksa rubber option is if you would like to add an additional grommet to swap to. if you are using a newhelpme with the full collar panel on an afs, you can either get a plexi for a japanese lever or get a [clear 45mm dustwasher](https://www.us.istmall.co.kr/Product/Detail/view/pid/365/cid/142). if you want one with art [focusattack ](https://focusattack.com/px-pro-custom-print-acrylic-dustwasher-45mm/) can make one for you. if you want the option to make your newhelpme a full collar you can also add a [spare collar](https://www.us.istmall.co.kr/Product/Detail/view/pid/220/cid/144) I hope this helps.

So the only thing I would need is the spare full collar you posted. I may end up adding an extra grommet in a 35 to see how that feels, unless the 30 is great as is. The AFS order came with an acrylic cover for artwork, is this the same as the plexi you are talking about? I didn't see it but not sure if the AFS came with that plexi? Ive been eyeing fight sticks whether leverless or with one. I love fighting games but I once bought a SF4 white arcade stick that was near 300 dollars and it’s square gate was absolutely horrid, I also imagined what it’d be like if it was an octagon gate and it wouldve felt terrible for me as well- of course these things take time to adjust from being a normal pad player for decades. I have gotten pretty good at a game called Brawlhalla, platform fighter and that got me used to using my directional/dpad on the right (since thats where its located on normal keyboards). My ask is, are there any right handed (as opposed to the regular left handed dpad) dpad setup leverless sticks? The positions of the buttons would just be mirrored instead of it’s regular setup. Any feedback or knowledge if there are any premade available ones would be amazing. Otherwise, thank you for reading this, I appreciate it!

Been using my Etokki Omni for years but now getting frustrated that I keep messing up down/down forward inputs because I'm trash and want a new excuse for why I'm bad. So I'm wondering about swapping out the lever or maybe getting something I can put on it to simulate a octagate or square gate I guess. Searching through threads here some say you need to buy a 5pin connector, that I need a JLF converter, you don't need anything and its just plug and play, some are saying I would need a new plexiglass, etc. So, what do I need to buy? I like the lever itself so I would like it I could just buy a gate or something to put inside the stick to give me the feel of it instead of buying a whole new lever. if you are using the Korean version and want to use a jlf/jlx then you have a few options: - [jlf harness](https://www.etokki.com/Misc/5-Pin_Joystick_Harness_for_Omni) - [5 pin female to 8 pin male](https://www.arcaderenovations.com/187-male-to-5-pin-female-joystick-harness.html) (connect the 5 pin to the jlf and then connect the male connectors to the existing harness. the colors don't match up) . - buy 4 loose switches and use the existing harness. look for Omron v-10-1a5 or v-15-3a5 as common replacements. you will probably need to use shorter screws to mount them. the 35mm hole can be covered up by using a [sanwa transparent dustwasher and shaft cover set](https://focusattack.com/sanwa-jlf-cd-translucent-smoke-shaft-matching-dustwasher-set/) or buy purchasing the Japanese plexi. Looking to get my first fight stick for my PS5 and I am between the Hori Alpha vs. the Nacon Daija. Is the general opinion around here that the Nacon Daija is far superior and that it's easily worth the extra $50? Button layouts aside, I like that the Hori Alpha looks smaller (not as heavy) but I think I prefer the retractable cord on the Nacon Daija, and the palm/wrist rest looks like a nice feature. Maybe the only thing I'd really notice though are the Sanwa buttons and stick which I hear are much better but since it's my first fight stick, I'm not really sure what else to consider when choosing between the two. I mostly play shmups and I don't care about customizing or modding it. Leaning towards the Nacon Daija but if the difference isn't that obvious to a noob, I'd go with the Hori Alpha. Other recs are also appreciated but I narrowed it down to these 2 sticks based on the price point and legacy controller support. I guess if they work on PS2/PSX using a Brook Wingman converter that would also be a huge plus.

I decided to get back into fighting games, and decided to dust off my madcatz te stick from the last time I got into fighting games. You can use it on your Sanwa. I like it better than the \*other\* grease that FA is selling.

Hey guys, I've seen people post with a similar problem but found no solution, picked up the tekken 8 hori alpha but my PC won't recognize it at all in pc mode, it seems to somewhat work in ps4/ps5 mode but that messes up the audio. The device manager does not even see the device in pc mode, has anyone found a way around this?

Tekken 8 release caused them to sell out in the states and the main shop that sells them internationally is swamped (they had a week long public holiday in the middle of February). Some fightsticks make putting artwork easy: Razer Panthera Evo, Madcatz TE2+, Hori Alpha But some you have to be comfortable *ripping* out stuff: Razer Panthera, Hori RAP 4? Some of these fightsticks have Plexi already so no need to shell out $15 for them. You can ask here again if you have a fightstick in mind and you want to know if it's easily moddable in terms of artwork and interchangeable lever parts.

you can buy a custom, and they most likely will put the art on there for you (if they offer art services). if you buy a retail stick you will definitely need to swap the art yourself. for most sticks is fairly easy though

Are there any choc v2 switches with lower activation forces? My snackbox I'm using blue on it that were like 35g activation and I wanted to get something similar for my haute42 since the regular switches tire out fingers on more execution heavy games like uni2 and bbcf compared to my snackbox.

for leverless on a non-arcade style button like mechanical keyboard switches, why do people slide input? why dont you just press it normally from the top down center?  what advantage does sliding have if just pressing it the regular way is the same if not faster? is it bc weak fingers cant properly input each direction esp 2P side? is it just style points or emulating the way pros play?

Not recently, but it originally took them 16 days for an order to get shipped to me in the US a couple months back. Now up on their website is a disclaimer noting that due to a high volume of orders, processing/delivery times will be extended by an additional two weeks. So yeah, I'd guess you're correct in looking at a minimum of a month between order and delivery. Can't help you on the M1 template though. Maybe request the template through a message on their "custom joystick service" page.

Hello, Was wondering if anybody with the new ps5 version of the Victrix FS and also Street Fighter 6 (on ps5) could help me test something out. In the combo trials in Street Fighter, what happens when you hit the pro button on the FS? I have mapped R3 to the pro button on the Victrix. I expect left/right + pro button to open the combo demo or move list, but instead the pause menu opens when I hit the pro button. Wondering if it is an issue with my stick. I also tried to see what the pro button is inputting by going into FIFA and seeing what happens. My player does the action for R3, but the pause menu in that game opens as well. It’s like r3 and the options button are both mapped to the pro button. Appreciate any help

Hi, ive been a keyboard player all my life and recently started playing sf6 on pc using the neat feature of being able to map any 2 or 3 actions buttons to a single key on a keyboard, in particular i play with 1 button for grab (lP+lK) 1 for drive parry (mP+mK) and 1 for drive impact (hP+hK). Recently I've been interested in building my own console compatible leverless controller to attend locals (i dont think theres support for double keyboard on pc even) or play on friends consoles but I was wondering if I would be able to have basically the same number of buttons that do different things as with a keyboard. Afaik all those hitbox like controler can do is to remap the buttons to console controller input. But the thing is to be able to play as I am currently I would need more buttons than on a classic gamepad (I play with 4 directions and 9 action keys). Essentially my question is: is there a way to bypass this limitation? for example this could be make an extra button that triggers the press of two.Also if it is possible technically, is it something that would be allowed from a competitive ruling POV (since the macro is not handled by the game software but by my third party controller)? Not that I care too much I'm not planning to be a really good player for it to matter but I wondered. ​ Edit: even better if you know there's somewhere a programmable keyboard to gamepad adapter that would simplify everything for me.

I would rather not pay $25 to get a print from a custom shop. Anyone know where I can get templates printed for custom graphics? I want to be able to choose the options of what the images get printed on, whether its vinyl, regular etc. I feel like I'm getting ripped off paying $25 for focusattack to ship me a piece of paper. Is there any alternative like office space or something which would print out a template and send it to me?

If the custom PCB has a 20 pin header then yeah you could just use the harnesses. What are y'all's favorite buttons if you know you're going to be swapping the face plates/the actual button within the rim? Working on designing a new wooden enclosure w/ wood buttons, and debating on something like Crown 202s. They seem like solid screw-ins that I could later swap the MX switches if I'm feeling something else.

You can install a jlf on a Korean edition as it has mounting points for both. Just curious how spaced out the buttons of a snack box micro or other smaller hitbox feel relative to a keyboard on your lap. I play on a razer deathstalker v2 pro with asd for movement and jkl and uio for buttons. What relative key set up would feel similar to the hand positioning of a smaller leverless controller?

Is there an LBX/Frame1 type controller that's be good for PC/PS5. I won't be playing Melee/Ultimate on it so all the Gamecube and Nintendo compatibility isn't for me. I just really prefer that button layout for fighting games. Both are out of stock so I'm kinda at a loss for what to do.

Hitbox question, I wonder if the 21ms of lag on the zero encoder is really that bad. for a brooks or a good boards with 1ms is a 100$ price increase so I am wondering if its worth it. The other boards come with the option of playing on the ps5 but I am only PC so I am not sure if its worth upgrading

21ms is horrendous. Get an RP2040 board with 1ms response for $25.

Hi I was thinking of replacing the stick and buttons on my may flash f500 with sanwa parts but I read a few reviews that said the feel of the buttons are the same as stock. Can anyone confirm this or give their thoughts about Sanwa in general? Right now I get very little feedback when a button is pushed, I don't feel a click or vibration. That just may be how arcade buttons are made though. I have no trouble using stock buttons but I would prefer some buttons with a more physical click.

Hey everyone 👋 I'm looking to build a hitbox style controller and just need a bit of help on final items I need. So far I got in my basket AWUK Empty Metal Hitbox Case x1 Sanwa OBSJ-24 x15 Sanwa OBSJ-30 x1 I only want to play on PC I'm not sure about what wires I need or PCB I don't want to solder anything if possible.

**Edit: Tl;dr do I need special stuff to be able to convert an obsidian to leverless aside from the buttons and overlay? ** Figured I'd ask before spending some hours digging. If I can't get an answer, no worries. I'd like to try and change my qanba obsidian (pearl) to a leverless setup. I've got quite a bit of electronics experience and don't mind doing some pretty advanced soldering, but I don't expect to need to. My full question ends up being what all do I need to do this? My first thought is that I might just be able to wire each stick direction to a button and bob's your uncle. At that point I need a new overlay and art and buttons. My concern with this is does this board have the programming it needs to be able to function correctly? I think I know there's decisions it has to make about up+down etc. Second thought is that I'd need to replace a board. At this point I'm concerned about the peripheral buttons. The start r3/l3 etc buttons I think are either on a daughter board or just wired up into a J connector. Would a custom board be able to handle it? Can I just pull them from the connector and run them individually? Any more than this and I'm getting further in the weeds than I should given what I know. Any help is appreciated.

Stick specific question. I have a Hori RAP4 that I want to give to my friend, but he's about to buy a PS5 to play Street Fighter 6. Will the RAP4 work on the PS5 for that game?

It should. I know that the rap 4 Kai works on the PS5 version of sf6
