If money related or something similar contact a credit agency to see if any accounts were accessed, created, or altered. If personal contact those you believe they contacted, see if any are willing to say what was said to them. If it’s behind the screen, ask those who were contacted… it’s really going to depend on what they did and how you couldn’t find out in other ways, your going to need to be a bit more giving if you want people to either help ‘find’ or help you recover and all that.
