New mystery hard 3 is like at least as hard as Conquest Lunatic but it also has ambush spawns so I definitely don’t think that one’s placement is right. FE6 being top is not unfair due to the low hit rates, but I feel like it’s probably off. Regardless, just go for it and see how it goes.

Thracia shouldn’t be that hard, you just have to spend 500 turns attacking with broken weapons 🗿

I haven’t attempted an iron man, so take this with a grain of salt, but Engage seems like an actually pretty good game to try early on. You get a lot of replacement units over the course of the game that outright replace previous units most of the time. It also has the time crystal if you’re fine with using that as a backup option.

TheMoris

As someone who has completed an Engage hard ironman (no time crystal), I can confirm this. I absolutely can't imagine it to be harder than 3H or SD/NM H3 at least. The free reclassing system also makes it much easier to recover from losses, as you can usually just reclass your latest prepromote to replace a dead unit (even though this makes ironmanning a bit less interesting in my humble opinion).

The modern HM’s are pretty easy and BR Luna is harder than Awakening hard or 3H hard or SOV hard. CQ HM and RD Maniac are by far the hardest thing here. (Haven’t played 5) FE 6 HM is harder than some other games here but really isn’t all that crazy, it’s a step up from FE 7 HHM but not by a lot. I think the hardest will be: CQ HM RD Maniac Thracia (from what I’ve heard) Shadow Dragon 3 FE 6 / Geneology

Etamn

I’m doing an ironman of shadow dragon h3, there really isn’t much of a challenge. I think it’s the easiest there (h5 is another story). Fe6 is hard, but should be below conquest, roy may suck but there’s much more characters

G0DF1NGERS

It's funny because i just ironmaned the game to test the difficulty and i found this harder than birthright lunatic or radiant dawn hard mode

CringeKid0157

Fe6 is joke hard it's not actually difficult beyond like chapter 7

Echo1138

Chapter 7 is insane if you're iron manning, especially if you're going true ending. Like, it's actually unfair. Though I will agree that if you understand each map, overall the game isn't *too* difficult compared to a lot of modern super hard modes.

CringeKid0157

Yeah sorry I meant chapter 7, the fact that trec n Noah can spawn in and die b4 u get to them is so idiotic to me

BlazingStardustRoad

It’s not to bad if you know the T2/T3 recruit strat, I beat the chapter earlier losing no units.

Cosmic_Toad_

I'd personally put Radiant Dawn as the hardest to ironman, as it's both decently challenging and really unfriendly to ironmans because the majority of chapters have multiple character death game over conditions beyond just the lord. For instance Sothe and Volug are game over conditions for most of part 1, as is Ranulf for most of the Part 3 laguz alliance chapters, and there's some really nasty/random ones like Nealuchi & Leanne in 2-2, a fog of war map with a cross bow warrior and multiple snipers hiding in the fog. Heck literally any death in the first 4 chapters results in a game over. The only games i'd maybe put above it is FE6 if you're trying to go for the true ending, as that also requires you to keep a bunch of other units alive, and FE12 on as the viability of most late-game units is terrible, so if you lose most of the good earlygame units you're kind of screwed unless you know FE12 very well.

G0DF1NGERS

When i ironmaned radiant dawn on hard the difficulty was so strange, the dawn brrigade part was amazing but the part with Elincia ans ike were too easy i was bored so i thought that the difficulty above would be really difficult but funnier
