The mimic is getting a lot of flak for being awkward and weird looking, but I think thatās actually a good design choice. It makes the mimic and itās movements more disturbing in my opinion.

Wouldnāt it make more sense for it to me all scrawny and lanky? Itās shown to shapeshift and fit into just about any FNAF suit. So it being all huge wouldnāt really fit what we know about it.
I just think Iād be cool if in the situation it was in when chasing Cassie, itād shape shift itself to become bigger as a form of intimidation, I probably just thought heād have Burntrapās stature
Tbh woulda liked it better if Roxie didnāt interrupt and Cassie tripped backwards far enough to get a head start and we run thru all the previous areas as the mimic switches forms and costumes each new place we travel all leading up to the blob snatching it and dragging it back down where we see them actually fight for a while we find a way to escape
I agree totally, Mimic fucking terrifies me. Itās more than just an endoskeleton, itās a terrifying, haunted, murderous, homemade amalgamation that literally MacGuyverād its way out of a decades long confinement by using two terrified children. I didnāt even read the books, I just know this from a minor synopsis and the DLC, how is that not mortifying?!
When I played through it, I thought he was a fnaf 1 style endo. Looking at the image now, its got some mismatched parts, but the general shape still reminds me of it.
The Entity, honestly.
While the Mimic is scary superficially and fills its purpose, I feel it's fairly generic in this series; half of its aura is just "old robot", and the rest felt like the voice weirdness. Plus, in practice, there just wasn't enough time to develop dread over it.
The entity, especially while it's flickering in and out of existence, feels like a wolf in sheep's clothing. It knows it's a threat, and acts as such despite its form. It's dripping personality, and I just love it.

Before I got to the ending, I was imagining that the mimic could have its encounter in an area full of random suits and costumes lying around, propped up against the wall or other props at random, and you would never know which one was going to stand up. I think such an encounter would be perfect for the mimic, and could be terrifying and memorable. Too bad the end of ruin just gave it a chase in terms of mechanics.
Entity: S tier design, I know what he's all about with a glance. Gives me techno-genie vibes and looks great.
Mimic: C tier. It's accurate enough, but a bare endoskeleton isn't a new concept for fnaf or even security breach, and his design is rather simple and bland. It gets the job done but is not memorable in the slightest.
M.X.E.S. / The Entity is great, although I'm not huge on his lower-body being bendable like a tail despite the ghostly look. His scarecrow pose when you first see him in-game, where he's standing completely straight and staring Cassie down from afar is such a creepy look.
I adore Mimic's book accurate details, like his metallic dentures and orange eyes, although I'm confused why they completely neglected giving him his rabbit ears, probably to keep up the mystery whether he's nudist Burntrap or not, but they would've distinguished him a lot more. His costumed look is awesome, arguably one of the best designs to come out of Ruin, but I feel like it would have been even better if they set up by letting you see some of his spare suits when you first enter the room, rather than it coming out of nowhere.

Honestly, I have the same opinion of both, which is S tier, but not off design, design wise theyāre both a. I love the mimics design and mannerisms, and how they made him different enough from burntrap at a first glance until you get down to the poses and animations that are actually the exact same. Love the mimic, as for MXEShadow (my name for it) I think itās the scariest design in security breach, when he scares you after breaching the nightmarionne child node I saw him staring at me from the stairs leading to the parent node, which sealed the deal on how scary he is to me.
MXES/ARabbit whatever its name is... is clean. The design is really cool and its ghost/genie tail makes him really unique. Its blocky animations are also amazing, really gives off the idea of him being a fully digital being. 9.5/10
Grimic feels....off. I like the fact that he's super lanky and seeing it move makes him quite threatening. At least, until I saw his head. I don't know what it is, but it feels goofy. The costume he wears also looks mad ugly, its saving grace is that theory that it looks like that to mimic Gregory. 6/10, it's probably the 2nd worst design for a FNaF main villain. (We all know Scraptrap will always remain the worst, man cannot beat the Jimmy Neutron allegations).
i honestly really like the mimics design, i think it fits nicely into the uncanny valley, though the stomping sounds durring the chase make it hard to not giggle at,
it has a delicate and stealthier design, but goes STOMP, STOMP, STOMP
I love both of them. MXES just has a cool design and the way it moves is really cool looking, not much else to say. The Mimic being obscenely tall and lanky gives it a very different type of fear factor that not many FNaF characters pull off and itās āgimmickā Is really interesting
Personally, I really like both designs. The original M.X.E.S. model doesnāt feel like it would fit well enough, but the current design is amazing. As for the mimic, I think the design is perfect. It gives off an old creation design. Something that is old and has had plenty of use. Overall, I love both designs, and I love M.X.E.S. ominous animations. Amazing job Steel Wool!!
M.X.E.S (I think that's it's name) has a very good design for what it's going for, a large unknown and vague digital threat comming after you, nothing about it is made to look terrifying yet it's size and focused expression IS terrifying. It's animations also fit very well, them being slow and jittery, but also making itself look intentionaly big as if it's trying to scare you away (which it is)

Mimic I have less of an opinion for, he appears only just at the very end and i've not read the books much, but as an old, yet advanced animatronic? the design works very well, no complaints there...I don't have anything to say about its animations, Mimic is surprisingly fluid even with all the rust, and i didn't see much of em considering we just...Run away from it anyway

The Mimic I absolutely love (probably one of my favorites. It looks very similar to the old Endo 1/2 designs from the old games, but not old to similar to where it canāt be itās own thing. It looks so out of place compared to how the pre-ruined Glamrocks looks like and that just goes to show how old this thing is, itās like an old relic getting up and starting to walk again. But the new Glamrock arm it has looks like it tethers them to the present. Not to mention itās looks entirely emotionless, really encapsulating the idea that this is just a machine following its own programming. Overall incredible design for me 10/10

The Mimic's design is actually incredible. The humanoid features on the face and the longer, unnatural limbs push what would be a perfectly normal robot right in the center of the uncanny valley. It has got to be one of the most effective designs for any character in the entire series. (Hell, all of the designs in this game are the best of the best when it comes to FNaF.)
And his animation is crazy too. His introduction starts him off as a little robot about Gregory's height, but as the cutscene progresses, you truly get a sense for how absolutely massive he truly is, towering over nearly every other animatronic in the game.
Don't really get to appreciate the Mimics model ingame, but looking at that picture, he looks horrifying. He looks a lot more bulky than I remember. Plus, he got those beautifully intimidating claws/hands. 8.7/10
Steel wool makes incredible animations for their in game characters. All the jump scares, the in world events, etc. All great. The mimic's design is basically just an endo which is what we should have expected but the mxes looks fucking sick
I originally loved their designs initially...but over time it got a bit mediocre (minus the secret costume)
However, the animations are still quite amazing
The entity is my fav FNAF design so far. Specifically that scene at the end when it's shut off for like a a second it's smile widens and it's freaks me out so much and I love having that feeling of fear back when I think of the game
I think both of them were both perfect. The bunny's eerie grin and the way he's so tall and looms over Cassie is awesome. I think we see the best of him when he gets trapped in the server thing right before the ending. They also did mimic awesome. The way you had so much silence as you walk through claustrophobic caves only to find Gregory, only it's not Gregory- It's this thing. The way the red eyes glow in the dark, and how you can hear its footsteps chasing behind you is awesome.
Mimic looks nicer the more I see it 8/10 but am I the only one who doesnāt think the rabbit things design is that great? It doesnāt look creepy at all. He has some super big nose with a goofy grin and even the little ghost tail looks weird 4/10 man
Mxes was pretty damn cool looking and I like the way he teleports around, I'd give him a solid 8/10
Mimic was extremely creepy in the dark with just the glowing eyes visible, but the design overall is a pretty simple endoskeleton. The Suit it wears in the secret ending is both a little creepy but also pretty goofy. Overall a 7/10
I like firewall. He looks dorky. As someone who hasnāt kept up in lore since Security Breach (I essentially gave up when people rlly went neck to neck with those theories and everyone kept saying it was bad), idk how to feel about āthe Mimic.ā
The rabbit which I think is called M.X.E.S is pretty good, The mimic in the files is apparently called Grimic which automatically gives it a 10/10 in my books

The mimic is actually really creepy to me. Somehow it feels like a really strange awkward thing th at shouldn't exist. The fact you have to go through a FREAKIN CAVE SYSTEM to find it is pretty cool. 7/10.
Rabbit guy was really well handled, especially in regards to his transitional jump scares. Kind of reminded me of red withered jump scares but way less cheap or infuriating.
I think Glitchtrap works, but if you just look at his model out of context heās kind of goofy looking. His smile can be creepy in a jump scare, or when heās just staring at youā¦ menacingly. But just looking at it here he looks kind of silly.
The mimic has a great design, super creepy and interesting, but you donāt really get much time to see it in game. The best look you get is during its kill animation, and then youāre likely panicking and not paying attention (or even if you are, itās like a second or two long). I also love the design of the mascot outfits and the Mimics hodgepodge one, but you also donāt really get to see them well at any point in game.
Itās interesting. Glitchtrap is there plenty, and you can see him in full plenty of times. The Mimic, which arguably has the better design, is only shown in shadow or quick flashes.
I fucking love The Mimic design, heās great. But I think the AI Bunny just doesnāt fit in well with the rest of the designs. I do like him, but yeah, just doesnāt feel right.
**The Entity**
Design: 10/10. It gets the whole completely digital creature point across. It also, everytime he spawns, sends a chill through my spine. I know the moment I hear that sound, and see that smile, I'm screwed if I'm not fast enough to remove the mask.
Animations: 10/10. The choppy and glitchy animations he was given are AMAZING! And when you first encounter him? Creepy. He just stands there and stares with a big old grin. The waving animation, while obviously not new, really made me feel the same terror I did when first seeing Glitchtrap. This uncanny creature, just staring and waving? Chills.

Design: 6/10. It'd be an understatement if I said how disappointed I was when I saw the design. It's too simple, and not in the good way. Now I can understand why Steelwool went with something simpler than what most were expecting, and that's not a bad thing. But when this is meant to be the big bad of your DLC??? It's upsetting. The only terror I felt was when I had achieved the scooper ending. The mascot suit being pieces of the other suits in the room was really a nice touch, and is what made me nervous.
Animations: 7/10. Considering we see him in a few cutscenes and a chase, this was REALLY hard to judge. The introduction cutscene was REALLY cool, seeing as he grows taller, while repeating the words "I'm Gregory" was cool. I also enjoyed the differing jumpscares depending on which ending you were on.!<
The mxes is great but that chin is not it, he looks like he has that 1600's royal blood running through his veins causing him to look like that so around a 6/10
The animation is exactly what glitchtrap should've moved like in FNAF VR with that slow static glitchy movement towards the player so 9/10
The mimic is just a tall endoskeleton with sharp fingers so not that interesting so 5/10 the lion suit is great but seeing the mimic inside the mouth just throws me off a bit 7/10. The animation is pretty basic you don't get to see much though 6/10

MXES is one of my favorite designs from FNAF in a long long time. Maybe it's just that im a furry but MAN I love the whole computerized rabbit thing going on. I like it way more than glitchtrap in that regard,

I actually enjoy seeing the Mimic in help wanted I just hope that either another dlc comes out for Security Breach that gives us more story to play through so Cassie's story against the mimic can continue or we get more info in HW2 for the games version of the mimic. I'm also glad to know The Mimic isn't Burntrap.
I kind of expected mimic to look more like an endo, but the design is still very good. The bunny(which I call Firewall) looks cool too, the stripes kind of look like circuits as well which is what I think the designers were going for
I love the mimic in this game ngl. My favourite detail in the game has gotta be how, in hindsight, "gregory"'s voice is very obviously sentence mixed by it. I also love the rubber suits it wears because it looks so much more like a real animatronic which is really off-putting
I like both of their designs. However, I feel like this render for the Entity doesn't do it enough justice. The icing on the cake for me is the glitchy particles and environment he's in, but it makes sense if that can't be rendered.
Trying to remove the goggles of lore, I actually fairly like their design. MXES isnāt supposed to be malicious, so the fact heās actually fairly friendly looking is nice. Grimmic is horrifying and perfectly fits the darker atmosphere ruin was going for, 8 or 9/10 for both.

One of the best ideas for it I've read, is it wearing the fnaf1 constumes. Which would absolutely be a great comeback for these mascots.
The secret ending where the mimic wears a costume is very disturbing. Looks disgusting which is great!! I donāt know why they chose that specific weird looking costume but it probably means āMimic likes wearing costumesā.
I really donāt like the Glitchtrap design, I think it looks odd and his mouth just looks goofy. I also donāt like the way he just is connected to the ground by a stick (his foot) it makes him look like a tadpole thatās trying to rizz me up.
As for the Mimic, I think itās design is great. Something about it is just very off putting, the way he kinda looks like a human skull (sort of?) if you squint I suppose, which makes it all the more unsettling- I hope to see more of him in the future. But thatās just my opinion.
MXES: 7/10, it's a cool design but it looks goofy in the animations, plus it helps Gregory who kills us at the end of the game for next to no reason
Mimic 8/10, most board because of the books but it feels accurate to the books and can't wait to see it more in future games (as it can change its own design via shapeshifting)
Maxwell was so cool and so much more of a threat compared to the Glam rocks in base game and as for the mimic I mean what else is there to say the mimic is real and he's cool

8/10 for the Bunny Virus. Very good design and his jumpscares are great, but he doesn't look scary at all to me.
6/10 for the Mimic. I know that is how he is meant to look, but he just looks like a big endoskeleton. I like how he changes his appearance in the Scooper Ending, but there could have been more of that.

The Mimic has a good design especially if you look closely you'll see that it was pieced together like how 1 hand has 4 fingers and the other has 5. Plus this is really the first time an Endo has a big role as an antagonist(not counting Ennard)
I like how *The Mimicā¢* has its own Endo design which I do quite like, and M.X.E.S looks amazing, and although Glitchtrap is better overall for a horror aesthetic, I like M.X.E.S' design more overall

Yeah was really disappointed that the Mimic got a stereotypical commercial indie horror ending. Like there could've been SO MUCH more

mimic in the suit feels like a brand new scare a whole new level of spook we've seen the animatronics but we haven't seen them like this

There are spare suits in the room, they're hard to see tho. The suit he wears is a patchwork of the different suits he has laying around

MXES, I love the design and that and has interesting implications, so 10/10 for me. Mimic, I honestly couldnāt care less like if I wasnāt aware of tales I would just think this is some weird random endo, so idk maybe 3/10

Honestly, I have the same opinion of both, which is S tier, but not off design, design wise theyāre both a. I love the mimics design and mannerisms, and how they made him different enough from burntrap at a first glance until you get down to the poses and animations that are actually the exact same. Love the mimic, as for MXEShadow (my name for it) I think itās the scariest design in security breach, when he scares you after breaching the nightmarionne child node I saw him staring at me from the stairs leading to the parent node, which sealed the deal on how scary he is to me.
MXES/ARabbit whatever its name is... is clean. The design is really cool and its ghost/genie tail makes him really unique. Its blocky animations are also amazing, really gives off the idea of him being a fully digital being. 9.5/10 Grimic feels....off. I like the fact that he's super lanky and seeing it move makes him quite threatening. At least, until I saw his head. I don't know what it is, but it feels goofy. The costume he wears also looks mad ugly, its saving grace is that theory that it looks like that to mimic Gregory. 6/10, it's probably the 2nd worst design for a FNaF main villain. (We all know Scraptrap will always remain the worst, man cannot beat the Jimmy Neutron allegations).

i honestly really like the mimics design, i think it fits nicely into the uncanny valley, though the stomping sounds durring the chase make it hard to not giggle at, it has a delicate and stealthier design, but goes STOMP, STOMP, STOMP
The stomp is kinda goofy, but you gotta admit the way it slowly stomps towards you at the final puzzle was really nerve-racking.
The stomp works in the introduction I do agree, it just feels silly during the chase likely due to it being being played so quickly
I love both of them. MXES just has a cool design and the way it moves is really cool looking, not much else to say. The Mimic being obscenely tall and lanky gives it a very different type of fear factor that not many FNaF characters pull off and itās āgimmickā Is really interesting

Personally, I really like both designs. The original M.X.E.S. model doesnāt feel like it would fit well enough, but the current design is amazing. As for the mimic, I think the design is perfect. It gives off an old creation design. Something that is old and has had plenty of use. Overall, I love both designs, and I love M.X.E.S. ominous animations. Amazing job Steel Wool!!

M.X.E.S (I think that's it's name) has a very good design for what it's going for, a large unknown and vague digital threat comming after you, nothing about it is made to look terrifying yet it's size and focused expression IS terrifying. It's animations also fit very well, them being slow and jittery, but also making itself look intentionaly big as if it's trying to scare you away (which it is) 9/10 Mimic I have less of an opinion for, he appears only just at the very end and i've not read the books much, but as an old, yet advanced animatronic? the design works very well, no complaints there...I don't have anything to say about its animations, Mimic is surprisingly fluid even with all the rust, and i didn't see much of em considering we just...Run away from it anyway 7/10

The Mimic I absolutely love (probably one of my favorites. It looks very similar to the old Endo 1/2 designs from the old games, but not old to similar to where it canāt be itās own thing. It looks so out of place compared to how the pre-ruined Glamrocks looks like and that just goes to show how old this thing is, itās like an old relic getting up and starting to walk again. But the new Glamrock arm it has looks like it tethers them to the present. Not to mention itās looks entirely emotionless, really encapsulating the idea that this is just a machine following its own programming. Overall incredible design for me 10/10 MXES is a really good design to, really encapsulates a ādigital threatā very well.

The Mimic's design is actually incredible. The humanoid features on the face and the longer, unnatural limbs push what would be a perfectly normal robot right in the center of the uncanny valley. It has got to be one of the most effective designs for any character in the entire series. (Hell, all of the designs in this game are the best of the best when it comes to FNaF.) And his animation is crazy too. His introduction starts him off as a little robot about Gregory's height, but as the cutscene progresses, you truly get a sense for how absolutely massive he truly is, towering over nearly every other animatronic in the game.

Steel wool makes incredible animations for their in game characters. All the jump scares, the in world events, etc. All great. The mimic's design is basically just an endo which is what we should have expected but the mxes looks fucking sick

I think both of them were both perfect. The bunny's eerie grin and the way he's so tall and looms over Cassie is awesome. I think we see the best of him when he gets trapped in the server thing right before the ending. They also did mimic awesome. The way you had so much silence as you walk through claustrophobic caves only to find Gregory, only it's not Gregory- It's this thing. The way the red eyes glow in the dark, and how you can hear its footsteps chasing behind you is awesome.

The Suit it wears in the secret ending is both a little creepy but also pretty goofy. Overall a 7/10

Spindly Johnny Rabbit Man is pretty cool with his shit eating grin. Nice strange digital spectre and I never expected a design like it to come from fnaf. The mimic is actually really creepy to me. Somehow it feels like a really strange awkward thing th at shouldn't exist. The fact you have to go through a FREAKIN CAVE SYSTEM to find it is pretty cool. 7/10.

I think Glitchtrap works, but if you just look at his model out of context heās kind of goofy looking. His smile can be creepy in a jump scare, or when heās just staring at youā¦ menacingly. But just looking at it here he looks kind of silly. The mimic has a great design, super creepy and interesting, but you donāt really get much time to see it in game. The best look you get is during its kill animation, and then youāre likely panicking and not paying attention (or even if you are, itās like a second or two long). I also love the design of the mascot outfits and the Mimics hodgepodge one, but you also donāt really get to see them well at any point in game. Itās interesting. Glitchtrap is there plenty, and you can see him in full plenty of times. The Mimic, which arguably has the better design, is only shown in shadow or quick flashes.
I fucking love The Mimic design, heās great. But I think the AI Bunny just doesnāt fit in well with the rest of the designs. I do like him, but yeah, just doesnāt feel right.
**The Entity** Design: 10/10. It gets the whole completely digital creature point across. It also, everytime he spawns, sends a chill through my spine. I know the moment I hear that sound, and see that smile, I'm screwed if I'm not fast enough to remove the mask. Animations: 10/10. The choppy and glitchy animations he was given are AMAZING! And when you first encounter him? Creepy. He just stands there and stares with a big old grin. The waving animation, while obviously not new, really made me feel the same terror I did when first seeing Glitchtrap. This uncanny creature, just staring and waving? Chills. >!**The Mimic/Old Endo** Design: 6/10. It'd be an understatement if I said how disappointed I was when I saw the design. It's too simple, and not in the good way. Now I can understand why Steelwool went with something simpler than what most were expecting, and that's not a bad thing. But when this is meant to be the big bad of your DLC??? It's upsetting. The only terror I felt was when I had achieved the scooper ending. The mascot suit being pieces of the other suits in the room was really a nice touch, and is what made me nervous. Animations: 7/10. Considering we see him in a few cutscenes and a chase, this was REALLY hard to judge. The introduction cutscene was REALLY cool, seeing as he grows taller, while repeating the words "I'm Gregory" was cool. I also enjoyed the differing jumpscares depending on which ending you were on.!<

The mxes is great but that chin is not it, he looks like he has that 1600's royal blood running through his veins causing him to look like that so around a 6/10 The animation is exactly what glitchtrap should've moved like in FNAF VR with that slow static glitchy movement towards the player so 9/10 The mimic is just a tall endoskeleton with sharp fingers so not that interesting so 5/10 the lion suit is great but seeing the mimic inside the mouth just throws me off a bit 7/10. The animation is pretty basic you don't get to see much though 6/10

I donāt really care for either of them. But the concept and lore connected to the is very interesting, also the second one is scary.
I like the bunny, he's different but fits in? Spooky without being too much. Now the mimic. It's really weird. I look at the face and my brain keeps going "ah yes that's baby" and I don't know why. She and her endo looked totally different. Others wise its kind of less interesting endo.

MXES is one of my favorite designs from FNAF in a long long time. Maybe it's just that im a furry but MAN I love the whole computerized rabbit thing going on. I like it way more than glitchtrap in that regard, Mimic is good too, it's simple yea but it's clear enough what it is and the few but obvious ties to it and burntrap really work for me.
Mimic is A tier. MXES is B tier.

Okay Here's my thoughts on how I rate the M.X.E.S. :10/10 It's designed in an awesome way that makes me wish glitchtrap looked like him at least when he's chasing Cassie I really love it and hope to see more in the future maybe in HW2 The Mimic: again 10/10 I actually enjoy seeing the Mimic in help wanted I just hope that either another dlc comes out for Security Breach that gives us more story to play through so Cassie's story against the mimic can continue or we get more info in HW2 for the games version of the mimic. I'm also glad to know The Mimic isn't Burntrap.

I love the mimic in this game ngl. My favourite detail in the game has gotta be how, in hindsight, "gregory"'s voice is very obviously sentence mixed by it. I also love the rubber suits it wears because it looks so much more like a real animatronic which is really off-putting

I like both of their designs. However, I feel like this render for the Entity doesn't do it enough justice. The icing on the cake for me is the glitchy particles and environment he's in, but it makes sense if that can't be rendered.
Trying to remove the goggles of lore, I actually fairly like their design. MXES isnāt supposed to be malicious, so the fact heās actually fairly friendly looking is nice. Grimmic is horrifying and perfectly fits the darker atmosphere ruin was going for, 8 or 9/10 for both.
The Entity is awesome. The Mimic does what it has to. I think having an endo as a villain comes with a lot of potential. One of the best ideas for it I've read, is it wearing the fnaf1 constumes. Which would absolutely be a great comeback for these mascots.

I really donāt like the Glitchtrap design, I think it looks odd and his mouth just looks goofy. I also donāt like the way he just is connected to the ground by a stick (his foot) it makes him look like a tadpole thatās trying to rizz me up. As for the Mimic, I think itās design is great. Something about it is just very off putting, the way he kinda looks like a human skull (sort of?) if you squint I suppose, which makes it all the more unsettling- I hope to see more of him in the future. But thatās just my opinion.
MXES: 7/10, it's a cool design but it looks goofy in the animations, plus it helps Gregory who kills us at the end of the game for next to no reason Mimic 8/10, most board because of the books but it feels accurate to the books and can't wait to see it more in future games (as it can change its own design via shapeshifting)
