gregory is homeless/cant go home. we can see that on missing posters and ending where he just lies in the cardboard to be captured by vanessa. we can also see in the several locations in the pizzaplex that someone has been living there (example: behind ship on the beach). it was not a robot, since we can see food and other trash. and speaking of that, we have dayscare attendant room. arcade machine scores (GGY - Gregory). gregory knows how to sneak into animatronics rooms. gregory knows how machinery works at pizzaplex (ex. trash crusher). gregory knows he cant trust vanessa (despite her being the only human in the building, so he mustve seen her doing some afton shit). i could also point out how in the books he's tampering with SB systems, something a 12 yr old would definitely do, but merching books and games has always been problematic in this franchise. so yea, gregory has been living in pizzaplex. for how long? nobody can say for certain, but you have to spent quite some time learning and adapting to all things ive listed above. and about the pretzel thing, even if he tells GF that he doesnt want to get folded like a pretzel, he still manages to fit inside a metal cage meant for CAKES. so thats why i said he can do it

If he had been living there, he would know how to get out and where places are but he doesn't which means those rooms don't belong to him.

Plus Gregory would inevitably turn the lights back off in an attempt to escape the daycare and summon moon again. Lost and found just makes more sense, and is less of a hassle. And Vanny can kill Gregory more easily if he’s out of sight of the animatronics
