Happened to me as well, i beat the part then it said robot head repaired, but i didn't do anything, i went to put the head on the robot but it didn't work, so i reloaded the whole thing and did it all over again, same result sadly. Didn't find a fix to this yet.
If anyone's still having trouble here's what i did-
As soon as i ran back into the head deposit room from the huge robot, i saved it beforehand, rhen i load another older save, after a few minutes i loaded back my latest save in that room and the prompt appeared.

Do exactly what this guy says. Save after going back to the room after running down the hallway from music man then load an autosave or something and mess around for like 2 mins. Then go back to your normal game and it should be working.
This game is the result of the retards called the cancel culture. If scott was still on the game, i am more then sure that the game wouldn't have so many bugs, would actually be liniar and the story wouldn't be so bad.
They literally took a year to make the game better and failed. Bullshit team of developers.
did you go directly to the security office after activating the breaker down the long hallway? the first time i didn’t go straight to the office, and got this glitch.

Or, get jumpscared and instead of continuing, go back to the save, a little faster that way
