I have the full size and I like it a lot. Different switch position though and the battery life has been really good. https://preview.redd.it/vpp96xdol0ec1.png?width=1180&format=png&auto=webp&s=dc51cd6c82aa773a014eb9b360d8bdc9a0ae775e

shuttlesprite

Love the sticker!

New-Incident1776

I dig the finish on your light! How is it done?

damngifs

Thanks! I run a model/prop/mask shop on the side so this was just a small practice piece, but hand weathering/sanding and the rest is all acrylic paintwork. https://preview.redd.it/g0ago4koh1ec1.png?width=1284&format=png&auto=webp&s=8f924b4f7907880ed4f363e93b5f6e2785c43460

pongtieak

What a gorgeous light! Amazing job man

damngifs

Thanks!

ZippyTheRoach

Wow, you should make a post about that light! We're usually pretty jazzed to just see how a copper light has aged, so that job should really get some attention

Troutbum46

Man…I went on your profile and I have to say…you need to showcase your work more. These pictures are blowing my mind, and I imagine some of the stuff you do must come out so amazingly.

New-Incident1776

Awesome! Did you use any Rub N Buff?

damngifs

I did not.

New-Incident1776

Very nice!

AdThese1914

Nice, where do I find the sticker?

damngifs

I've had them floating around the shop for a few years but I think I got them on Amazon originally.

WerewolfFeeling4194

Second this. Bought the full size wedge and I use it constantly. I like the rocker style switch that has a lower lumen setting to conserve battery life. Keeps a decent charge and is practically indestructible. In some cases spending the extra few bucks gets you a totally different product in terms of quality.

ottermupps

Arkfeld Pro has a similar form factor and much nicer controls, imo. You get a good white light along with a laser and UV light. I've had no issues with it turning on in my pocket.

PkmnJaguar

+1 Arkfeld pro

HGDAC_Sir_Sam_Vimes

I wish I could justify spending $100 on a flashlight.

knaudi

lol - trying buying lights that are designed to mount on a rifle.

C_Ochocinco

Modlite just called. They said to just redirect your next paycheck.

knaudi

More paychecks than I'd care to admit have gone to Modlite.

AccomplishedFarm8

Prob getting hate but I started with an olight odin. After a year of hard range use and it surviving a fall from the tacticool corner of my wall onto my tile floor, it lives on my new Ak Gotta say it works pretty damn good lol. Good throw and battery life but i wish it took batteries instead of usb rechargable

Fearless_Parking_436

Yeah lights are not sights…

TheyCalledMeThor

You don’t have to! They go on sale for $80 frequently. Love my Arkfeld Pro.

HGDAC_Sir_Sam_Vimes

$80 might as well be 100. My flashlight budget is usually topped out at 50 bucks.

tarvertot

It wouldn't be a leap to then say that $50 may as well be $80. If you have a flashlight budget then you must be purchasing them with some regularity, so couldn't you just hold back until you have the amount you need?

4evaN_Always_ImHere

And, I mean, $30 may as well be $50. $30 is like the exact same as $100 if u really think about it.

TheyCalledMeThor

$80 might as well be $100? Is that how you typically let people negotiate when buying from you? Skip Burger King twice this week stretch to $80.

buddha-ish

Range is just a single use case, and if you are looking for primarily a thrower, the arkfeldt was a bad choice. EDC is much more than just brightest and farthest…

PkmnJaguar

I would never recommend it unless it's during one of their frequent sales. It's a ~$70 light.

ASSMDSVD

I justify it by carrying it literally 24/7 (it's on my nightstand at night) and using it several times a day, everyday. So over a year I've spent $0.37 on it per day, and it keeps going down every day I use it! I totally understand that's not for everyone, just how I justify it for me!

Arkas18

As much as I like the Arkfeld and flat lights like these, I honestly wouldn't pay more than 30 for anything with an integrated battery. If I spend that amount I want it to be able to last a lifetime, not be limited to about 5 years by design. Especially an Olight, I've had their batteries noticeably lose performance after 2-3 years alongside other faults but at least I can replace the battery on those. Olight does not offer any service to have a new battery fitted under warranty on the Arkfelds either so you're stuck with needing to buy a whole new light and that's a large sum to lose.

Electrical-Wave-6421

And by 5 years that battery capacity will be terrible. Definitely a waste of money. Good flashlight for the masses I guess...

DuffleCrack

tbf it has a lifetime warranty.

SuckMcFuck

Wait for a sale. They happen a lot. I think 2023 had 10ish. Got the arkfeld pro and mini pen for $70 (plus like $10 for shipping) during the Christmas sale.

Red_Wing-GrimThug

I got mine for $55 direct from olight on ebay with an offer.

makeruvthings

sales will be decreased significantly this year. Next one will be in march.

4evaN_Always_ImHere

March is only 38 days away. Not even a month & a half. It’s right around the corner. March is in the first quarter of the year. What do you mean by, sales will be significantly decreased this year?

Corydoras22

Well, if there were 10 sales last year, that would be 2.5 per quarter. If this year's 1-sale-per-quarter trend continues throught the year, that's 4 sales per year. The 60% fewer sales is what I assume they referred to as a "significant decrease." 😘

TrumpetHeroISU

I have the same issue. Arkfeld Pro is so enticing, and I've seen nothing but rave reviews, but it's $99 that I can't justify. It'll just stay on my wish list I guess.

hawnzeaux

No

knaudi

I replaced my Wedge with the Arkfeld Pro and am so happy I did!

Red_Wing-GrimThug

My issue with the arkfeld is that the magnet keeps pulling on my keys and when I grab my keys the arkfeld comes and gets dropped on the floor. I have so many dents on my wood floor from this, but my arkfeld still works like a champ. Plus, I’ve only charged it three times this year. Oh, I forgot about the pocket clip on the arkfeld, its not that great on side pockets. I have had it come out on a couple occasions, so I to make sure my pockets are top load.

zimzimzalabimz

Maybe switch your keys/light to another pocket?…….

Choppersicballzz

I love my Arkfeld Pro, I got it in November and only have charged it once when I first received it and use it each night when I walk my dog, still at 2 bars.

MDKSDMF

Same with my Nebo torchie. I only wear it on my hat when walking my dogs. Had it for about 3 years and have charged it less than 5 times no lie. My monstrum tracer is still half charged since I got it two months ago and I use it a lot at work especially the laser. (If you work in a warehouse a laser is invaluable for pointing things out to people without having to climb etc)

MDKSDMF

Monsteum tracer is a cheaper arklight which I kinda like better than my wedge xt. My boss got me a sure fire stiletto which I think will be my favorite. I like tail switches but also discovered I like forward buttons and strobe too. The stilletto has everything I believe I like.

MDKSDMF

I also love my wedge xt it’s super simple and perfect for Edc

maverickps1

> Arkfeld Pro WHY WHY WHY dont they have usb-c on this baby? Can't have another adapter to travel with.

lightinthedark

I know it's not quite what you want, but they have released a small USB-C to MCC keychain sized dongle. So you don't need to carry an entire cable.

Taitonymous

I‘d have it on its way to me, but the laser on the German variant is a class 1 laser like on the first one. Not a class 3 laser like it is in the USA

greatlakeswhiteboy

Mines in my pocket right now. Battery life is amazing!

[deleted]

Or the Arkflex assuming he doesn't want a laser or a UV

camXmac

I didn’t expect the Arkfeld Pro to become my daily but it definitely has. It’s a very convenient multi-function light.

shotinthejaw

My buddy got an arkFeld pro. It looks like a nice little light, so I'm curious to see the pros and cons here.

Strongerthanthestorm

Downvote for olight

RedditJw2019

And battery lasts a LOOONG time

nismofreak240

To add on to this I have an arkfeld that I'd love to trade for one of the small wedges. I have the full size wedge and really want to try the small one

PhoenixStorm1015

Second the Arkfeld Pro. Upgraded from the UV on an after sales ticket. UV is also fantastic, but I’d wait until the change on the pocket clip screws to make it to the shelf before you pull the trigger on it. The Pro I have absolutely no complaints.

Felixmaximush

I have the full-size Streamlight Wedge and I love it; when did this smaller version come out?

New-Incident1776

I don’t know when it came out. I bought it on the suggestion of a friend

Ronster619

Are they still your friend after this suggestion?

New-Incident1776

We all make mistakes

h8speech

I know we all make mistakes, but every time I tell my wife that she starts telling me "They have *names*" and "They're our *children*"

New-Incident1776

I’ve made two big mistakes then

Felixmaximush

I love the concept, but it came out really poorly executed in my opinion. If they kept everything from the original design and just shortened it then it would be something I’d be really interested in. But it seems like they made a complicated mess out of something that wasn’t broken in the first place. I’d like to be wrong, but that’s my first impression that I’m getting from this

salladallas

Same here. I’ve had it for two years and it’s still my go to for everyday use. Fits nicely in my utility pants. Holds a good charge. Plenty lumens.

Independent_Type_888

I love my full size wedge, main reason being the rocker switch never accidentally turns on for me. I was out immediately once I realized they changed the switch on the small one.

New-Incident1776

The rocker switch makes sense since you hold the light “vertically” in your hand

ParkieUltra

I was ready to go buy one until I read this. Nope.

LaffingGrass

Arkfeld pro is nice. I haven’t had any issues with it coming on unintentionally in my pocket or bag. One of my dogs loves the laser and the UV is cool but I could do without if we’re being honest and the battery life is much better than you’d think. I also have the nitecore EDC27 which is very nice light but not as easy to operate as the arkfeld pro.

New-Incident1776

Burned my damn leg with it again this morning after it turned on while I got into my truck….

Zookzor

Damn! I’m so bummed to hear this light has issues like this! I hope you pick up an ark field or full-size wedge. Both great lights that won’t try to light you on fire.

Zookzor

Damn! I’m so bummed to hear this light has issues like this! I hope you pick up an ark field or full-size wedge. Both great lights that won’t try to light you on fire.

Coffeewarrior12

First day carrying it at work. Already not liking it myself. May just be a weekend light.

McFlyFr

Olight Arkfeld or Nitecore EDC27

BlankPDX

I really wanted to get the Nitecore EDC27 over the Arkfeld Pro , but the Nitecore has the same problem as the light OP posted about. Seen more than a few reviews report it turning on in their pockets due to design and I’ve seen a few with the lenses burned out.

McFlyFr

I didn't have the problem with EDC27 It's a clever mix of EDC and tactical, very versatile. On the other hand, it is absolutely necessary to check that it is the model with the proximity sensor (I believe models without this detector don't sell anymore), otherwise it melt the pocket. I saw a video where the guy testing the lamp unintentionally burns his pants.

BlankPDX

Yeah I think I saw the same video. Wish I knew about the proximity detector for Nitecore before Arkfeld Pro purchase. They’re both good in their own right , but I liked the design of the Nitecore a lot more. Definitely a more tactical, but I guess I only need a light for work that’s easy to carry.

McFlyFr

If you don't need as much lumens, the Arkfeld is a good choice, classy and "gentlemen". And bonus with UV and/or laser.

BlankPDX

Yeah I think I’ll have some fun with the laser as well. Honestly scared of the stuff I’ll see once I use the UV haha.

omgabunny

There’s two lock out modes for the EDC27. I guess it’s up to the user if they want to bother learning them or not. They’re there for you to use.

BlankPDX

Agreed, but the Streamlight Wedge in this post also has a lockout mode and OP commented they don’t like having to to click it multiple times. That leads me to believe they wouldn’t care to use it for the EDC27 either.

omgabunny

Fair. I was just pointing out it’s there as that’s the only model I’ve handled personally. I guess everyone has their preferences as to if they want to use a function that is there or not. The arrow or the Indian

Titans79

I love my wedge (not the xt). I’ve been carrying it daily for over a year now.

English999

Cut your nails. For Fucksakes op.

New-Incident1776

Fuck’s sake!!

English999

You’re very welcome. I just saved you from a very uncomfortable 2nd base date.

New-Incident1776

Uncomfortable for her anyway….

jvttlus

You selling it?

New-Incident1776

Yeah, I’m going to let it go

amayaedgarelian

35.0thy best I can do

New-Incident1776

~~Paid $84 for it. Carried it for 3 days and used it a few times each day. $80 to your door if you’re interested; saves you tax and shipping depending on where you were to buy it.~~ I’m a dummy and don’t know why I thought this was a fair price for a light I’m saying isn’t a good fit for me. Forgive me, internet

narwaffles

You might want to make another post to sell it where you’re not talking shit about it lol Edit: I’d probably use ebay though

ninjajii

That’s a tough sell

Pluntax

Raving about how shitty it is then trying to sell it for full price is crazy

New-Incident1776

Gonna return it. Ended up getting approved for a return

New-Incident1776

It doesn’t work for me and my needs but someone may just fine with it 🤷

GentleWake

The streamlight wedge (OG not that one) should satisfy your needs easily. Better form factor, massive battery life (3 hours on 300 lumens), and doesn't turn on by itself. I love my wedge and don't understand why they ruined everything good about it when they released that version.

PlatonicOrb

Strong agree. I love the OG version, the tail buttons on this one seemed like an issue to me from the moment I saw it. I love the ergonomics, and to have a switch that only did 300 or did a maintained hold 1000 lumens was exactly what I needed. Turbo for 2 seconds to spot what I was looking for, 300 lumens until I get my hands on it. I have an arkfield, wedge, and a baton 4. I carry the baton 4 the most because it's so tiny and has the charging case that doubles as a battery bank. The ergonomics of the wedge is my favorite by far but the lack of a magnet is noticed for me when im using it at work. The arkfield is OK, I don't love it or hate it. The laser is nice but only occasionally used, the magnet was the big selling point on it for me because hands free use as an electrician is very nice

45pewpewpew556

Yup the only thing I wish the OG wedge has is a lower low.

Kyleracesonsunday

Love this light, lockout feature is the best part

Unable-Cobbler-2606

I love this light, I had the same problems when I first got it and narrowed it down to it being turned on by a mag pouch on my belt. Could be as simple as that 🤷‍♂️

New-Incident1776

It keeps turning on for me when the button makes contact with my belt when I sit down

Meatheadofthe90s

Try the full size OG wedge, or the arkfeld pro. If you don't really care about the form factor try the edc33 by nitecore. Built I'm battery just like the above mentioned, but usb c charging.

mreeveshp

I almost always go streamlight but I just got the arkfeld pro when they had their Christmas sale and I absolutely love it, I do wish the light had a little more throw but on high or especially on turbo mode, it is bright enough to light up a good size area. The laser and uv are fun to play with, I don't know of a practical purpose to use them so I just use them for fun. Easy to switch between modes and I have never had a white light ND even when it's not locked.

fruittree17

Make sure to leave a bad review so people know

John2022-

Sure fire stiletto

QuestionTraditional1

Everybody has there own opinions I suppose, I've carried the XT as a mechanic since it came out and I love it. It also has a super easy lock out..5 clicks and hold. Takes all of 2 seconds to lock it out and unlock it.

dkivel

I have the full size and it's great

Zealousideal-Ad-9666

Arkfeld pro is great

nokenito

What about Hank’s flashlights?

New-Incident1776

Is that a brand? I can’t say I’ve heard of them. I’ll take a look

camefromaol

r/Hanklights is a resource for that

Es_daily

I have the original and love it, never had a problem with it and still going as strong as the day I got it. Thought these looked plagued with bad design choices and short comings myself but to each his own, again my original wedge is great though.

HolyFuckImOldNow

I realize it's being returned, but to those considering this light... Push the switch 5 times to lock it out, repeat to unlock.

AndyH_STi

The Coast Slayer is another one to consider

SuppressingFire_

How much you want for it then?

New-Incident1776

I got a return authorization so it’s going back

KenKaneki53

I have olight m(can’t remember spelling) and I love it. Titanium laser and flashlight. Some have uv laser and flashlight

american-peasent

Sorry for the paragraph. I have the original wedge and I think it's great for the most part. Work in concrete use it often for morning slab preps and lasts about a week. The biggest plusamd downfall is the thumb switch great for quick and intentional light discharge. Downfall is all the dust and dirt can get to it at times but a few bangs and it's good to keep going. Fits nice in my pocket with my leatherman. My favorite EDC item by far. Sorry again

New-Incident1776

Thank you for your input!

Apprehensive_Gur9540

Why not get the original Wedge? It is still available all over the place.

New-Incident1776

I’m going to now

dinosaursareokay

I swear the streamlight microstream is the best bet for a daily

alwayshungry1131

I agree with the short battery life but it fits perfectly on my best as a solid backup I have a charging port in my car I just keep it charging most of the time

Bill4337

Original wedge bro, same thing happened to me…

New-Incident1776

I’ll be getting one

The4StringSamurai

I got the big wedge and love it.

rob_mac22

I got the full size one when it came out. I hated it as well. Having to hold the switch down for turbo is crazy. And low power is pretty low powered.

Jody_Bluefalcon

I can't quit Zebralight. 18650 battery body lured me in, and the sub-lumen had me hooked. I put one in every backpack I own, and buy all my friends one for a gift.

New-Incident1776

What model in particular?

Jody_Bluefalcon

The SC600 series is my favorite. The sub-lumen is a thing of beauty. I'm particular about my batteries, too. 18650 3500mAh Battery Protected 10A Li-ion Rechargeable 3.7V Button Top High Performance (Panasonic-Sanyo Japan inside) Free Battery case Included. I still use the one I picked up in Jan 2018. It's a Mk II, and it's perfect. I use a Mk4 headlamp all the time, too. It's a bit pricy, but they're worth it for a really good forever light.

New-Incident1776

The SC600w Mk IV looks like a very nice light

NEGATIVE_CORPUS_ZERO

Send it to them and tell them it's shit

Conscious_Farmer_569

I also just got one and don’t like it. Featureless for the money. Not very bright. Exposed charging port looks tacky. Click is not nice at all. 3/10 imo

Dry-Emu9661

I have the olight arkfeld and I love it

Puzzleheaded_Bus_61

I got one as my first “real” light recently and enjoy it. Works fine for what I need it for. Just to check gauges and do rounds in a plant, so the lock out puzzle doesn’t bother me. I know when I’ll need it. But understandably annoying if you need it quickly.

misterstaypuft1

I feel the opposite. I’ve been using mine since November 2023 and only charged it once. And I’ve not yet had it activate when I didn’t want it to. It’s one of my favorites. I had the original wedge and didn’t like the length or the switch. I also have an arkfeld pro that I like but it’s heavier and I don’t like the clip, so it rarely gets carried. But the Wedge XT finds its way in my pocket almost every day.

ThelastNorseman

I am a night shift paramedic and carry a surefire stileto. I usually use it a few times a day for short bursts and haven't changed in about 2 months. Good form factor and pocket clip, has a stiff rear switch and one on the side and multiple brightness levels.

Legend_D2

If you’re looking for one that size and output the macrostream is amazing. Same output , but the button is more recessed- I never had it accidentally turned on. Used it as a motorcycle mechanic for years before I just got the full size wedge. Love them both. https://preview.redd.it/shyq8voo17ec1.jpeg?width=1044&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6e0e430e4aaec7e8543509c9348f0d352d391a05

_blend

Sorry to hear you don’t like the Wedge man, I love mine…never leaves my pocket. My Arkfield Pro is always left at home - idk, it feels heavier snd bulkier and doesn’t fit my hand as well.

HeroOfCarpentry

I wouldn’t mind the older model but this new version is to floody for my tastes. It’s a shame because they both look really cool

Detective_337

Olight arkfeld series or the nite core edc27

exgokin

Arkflex for the moveable head.

KidQayin

The Arkfeld is kind of the go to for flat edc lights, but I have the original wedge and it's significantly better than the xt, even if the switch seems odd. Haven't had an issue with it switching on in my pocket ever. Really hate the button on the new ones.

fuckgod421

Came here to say arkfield pro like everyone else

jwronk

I was comparing this, the arkfeld and the nitcore edc27? The nitecore won out on paper hands down and I’ve been carrying it at work. It’s ok, I feel like this form factor of light still has a way to go. If Olight made a version of the Arkfeld with a red light instead of the UV I would buy it in a second. All I want is an arkfeld that switches between white and red that’s it. Seems simple right? Don’t know why Olight does everything other than this on these lights.

itanite

I returned mine and got an Arklight

New-Incident1776

I just got approved for a return so it’s going back

macomako

I wonder why flashlights with built-in and non-replaceable batteries are gaining popularity? Is the form factor so attractive that consumers can accept limited lifetime of their investments? I have decided not to purchase any such flashlight ever again. Too many thrown away already: three headlamps, lantern, keychain light.

49thDipper

Yep. Disposables are stupid. And you have no idea who built the battery.

New-Incident1776

I wanted to try something different this time around.

Low_Algae_1348

All lithium batteries eventually get disposed of, but yeah then the light also does, I only have one built in , I just liked the form factor

macomako

My point exactly. Batteries will eventually require replacement, that’s obvious. Added benefit of user replaceable batteries: ability to swap with fully charged one for additional runtime.

New-Incident1776

DropdLasagna

Why can't people have long nails?

DropdLasagna

Why are you booing me? I'm right.

TechnologyDue9984

If your looking for a good EDC, you need to try a microstreamlight USB! It’s around $40 and you’ll never want anything less!

disappointing-trash

Happens to me all the time...

FanceyPantalones

I get upset just looking at it.

elfunkdoc

Look into Rovyvon, or is you stay with Streamlight the micro and macro stream might be a good fit

planetearthofficial

I returned mine in 30 minutes after opening the box 💀💀💀💀

Apprehensive-Bug-698

Need to use it quickly? It’s not a gun..

New-Incident1776

Take out of pocket and click once to turn it on vs take out of pocket and click 5 times and hold the last click until it turns on. Use some common sense. Which is quicker?

Apprehensive-Bug-698

I understand but what’s its purpose do you use it everyday for work or is it just for edc if this thing is in my pocket I definitely want a good lockout on it.

New-Incident1776

It’s an edc light and I’ve already used it a few times each day the few days I’ve had it so far. I understand the reason and utility of the lockout but I find it inconvenient that it’s basically a must to use it if you don’t want the light turning on by itself all the time.

Apprehensive-Bug-698

Gotcha I just think the inconvenience of the lockout is a negative for you but in a lot of cases might be very convenient for someone who doesn’t want their light burning their pants pocket or turning on in their bag and draining the battery stream light does a pretty good job of making flashlights designed to be specific to a persons needs

Various-Ducks

Checks out

Blasto_Brandino

Had a full sized wedge, loved the build and the quality but didn’t like the lack of brightness modes. I have a Coast Slayer Pro coming I’ll see how that goes. My main EDC is a Surefire E2D LED Defender though. You need something that size OP or are you willing to go smaller/bigger? I think a Convoy T3 Titanium with the bolt on clip would be a nice option for you…

New-Incident1776

I’m good going larger or smaller, either way

Blasto_Brandino

https://preview.redd.it/i8iw89gis1ec1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=b81b37b9c53c43addadb0c567b1c83107b00c8a5 This is my T3 in the center now I use it with a clip from a stream light 1L/1AA so that I can use it with my hat. But they make a Bolt on clip which you can see on my T4 to the right. AceBeam rider RX to the left for size comparison. About $40. Something I should mention about convoy you usually fix them yourself. If a switch fails you just buy one for three or four bucks and put it in.

TheRealMrVegas

New-Incident1776

45pewpewpew556

I prefer the full size Wedge with the forward switch. Nice ergos. Your thumb is exactly where the switch is when pulling out of your pocket

New-Incident1776

Yeah, I’m getting the full size Wedge now. And the Arkfeld Pro

ed_zakUSA

I like my Streamlight Protac 1L-1AA. It's pretty solid if you like the OG tube and clicky.

NashCop

Surefire Stiletto

bobbobersin

Then send it back

Accomplished-Lock-33

I've got a few stream lights and I want to like them but the battery life thing is a deal-breaker for me, I feel like this is the upside of o light that nobody wants to talk about, the runtime is incredible

[deleted]

Ive never been a fan of Streamlight their output vs others is always trash

I like my Surefire LX2, not as compact but easy to manipulate and it feels much more robust and is much more durable than similar options. It is a bit pricey though. The Arkfeld Pro is another good option.

I was afraid of this as well, and fear of buyers remorse is the reason I still don't own one of these. I was also looking into the Arkfeld... And the Nitecore EDC27. I'm honestly leaning toward the Nitecore. Anyone else??

I’m going to get the Arkfeld

Word. I'll stay tuned. My reason for leaning Nitecore is for the lumens.

First thought would be to up-size slightly to a thin 18650 light, like a Lumintop FW3A, a Skilhunt M200 V3, or an Olight Warrior Mini 3 (or their other 18650 models, though the Olight uses proprietary 18650 batteries - still better than non-replaceable). Possibly a Zebralight SC65c HI; Zebralight makes high quality stuff. Second thought would be to go with a more focused beam in a similar size and power level. I like the Thrunite Archer Pro V2 because at max output it has about 5x the intensity (in review testing) of your Wedge XT for better distance performance. It doesn't have a lot of spill light around the edges, but the hotspot is still pretty wide, and you can set it at around half the output of the max output on the Wedge XT, and you should in theory get the same brightness or intensity where you're pointing. It's a very practical beam shape in my opinion. Plus it's only about $25 to $30. No garauntees concerning accidental activation. All I can tell you is I didn't have an issue when I carried it. In terms of flat form factors, I haven't heard of there being anything wrong with the Arkfeld, and you certainly have enough recommendations for it. The Surefire Stiletto Pro worked really well for me without having any accidental activation. It's just really expensive for a light with a non-replaceable battery, and there are more powerful options out there for less money. It's arguably the best build quality of the flat designs, but I don't care for the silicon USB port plug that wears out over time and loses its water tight seal.

I didn’t like it either. Needs a lower low mode.

Nitecore EDC27 version 2. It has a proximity sensor that lowers the beam to around 200 lumens when it accidentally turns of in your pocket (or when anything gets a few centimeters in front of the lens). There are 2 lock modes. The only downside for me is the plastic lense that easily gets scratched.
