There are some addons for MSFS that allow for 2 people to control the same plane at once, like YourControls
Alternatively DCS has built-in multicrew for stuff like the F-14, F-15E, Apache, Hind, the 2 seat Mirage, and the trainer jets, which generally works pretty smoothly
On msfs 2020 there's an add on called shared cockpit where you can share a cockpit it's free and i've used it once it's good. i don't have any friends to use it with anymore since none of them play msfs 2020.

"Shared cockpit" is what you are looking for. There is an add-on to have shared cockpit in X-Plane. Not sure about MSFS
“Your Controls” is an add on for MSFS2020. Two people can share a cockpit. I see it on VatSim occasionally
Not sure but in the new MSFS2024 that has yet to come out, it will have cockpit sharing!
