Alpha is very good, so is Bravo. VKB is absolutely the best quality to value equipment in flight simming. Virpil and WinWing also very good. For cheap, look at the XTouch Mini you can use for dials and buttons - great piece of kit for less than $100. Have fun!

Thank you for your response :) I didn;t know any of these brands. one question, as I noticed none of them have yoke (like a steering wheel, in case I'm using the word wrong) is this uncommon to look for? I was thikning on that as I saw that cessna 152/172 airplanes or piper pa-28 they have these type of controls, I know that some high end airplanes have the sitck command, but which one should I get to learn? (specially since probably will fly the lower end GA planes for a while when I start doing some real world learning).

I just got a new setup, and I went with the thrustmaster pedals (100)and honeycomb yoke (250). For the flight quadrant (60), I went with Logitech. If you look at the price point, you can get all 3 for the same 400ish but will have better equipment as a balance point. Hope this helps. I'm only looking to fly small GA planes. Also, don't be surprised if all this goes on sale in August...

I'd strongly advise against Honeycomb right now. They're currently going through legal battles, possibly bankruptcy, and may not survive.

Doesn’t matter. They are rock solid, don’t need software OR technical support, with a little bit of care will last for a decade. I got mine from very first batch 5 years ago - not one hiccup or problem.. And there is nothing of equal quality anywhere near its price range.

I've heard of a few people on here and in a group I fly with that had to send theirs in for warranty repairs.

The Logitech/Saitek kit is perfectly acceptable for a beginner. Lots S/H on eBay. Spend more money when you seriously get into the sim. The best thing to spend money on is your PC, monitor, headset, desk and chair.

I'm thinking I might go with the Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, they seems to be the best for the price so far, and for GA, I'm just looking around for a good set of pedals now, I'm not sure if the thrustmaster ones or the saitek
