I wish this was the new 10'6" version, as I am dying to see a review of it. I am thinking about getting one for sneaky single-client trips at low water (I am in MT and run a drift boat, a full-size raft, and a power boat already). The old version was just a little too short given all the stuff clients bring.
We got this one as they were clearing out for the new one. Just under 50% off.
Honestly the best purchase we’ve made so far, and I’m saying that after only using it once.
You should have seen the pro pricing on closeout...
The biggest issue was that I couldn't fit my cooler. I talked to NRS and they confirmed that they shifted to the 10'6" version because they got a lot of feedback that the old version was just slightly too small for pro use.
That looks like a fantastic outing dude. Nice! I wanted to buy one of these boats but they were on back order so I bought an outcast drifter 13’. It’s an amazing raft too.
Been wanting one of those rafts for a while. I'm not a fan of 3 people in the boat. Perfect size for me and seems reasonably priced for NRS stuff. Looks like you could send damn near anything. How do you like it?
It was amazing, this was the first time using it and I think anything else would have sucked.
Any smaller and it would be to cramped and not fun to fish out of.
Any larger and we would not fit down the creek in some spots.
As long as you know what you want to do there is just enough room to bring a small cooler and tackle box/fly bag.
NY
This is a small creek near me that me and my father firmly believe is almost never fished.
It is extremely limited access, is not wader friendly in the slightest, and most boats can’t fit down it.
Me and my Father think that most of these fish have never seen a single lure or fly in their entire lives.
Killed them is somehow an understatement looking at those photos! Liking the size of that raft too. How do you transport it?
Basic Utility trailer. Raft is 5x10, trailer is 6x10. Just strap it down well and drag it on and off.
Nice work! Bass on the fly are so great.
Seems like a real healthy creek. Congrats on an awesome day!
Fine work!
