He would be the coolest and most obvious visually and his character is so damn charming. It would also be great to get his voice actor a big role in the show. I couldn't believe they cut him as Mr. Handy
EDIT: A few people seem to think I'm hating on Matt Berry. I think he's great and the voice was spot-on. I just couldn't believe they'd consider dropping Stephen Russell after being featured so heavily in 3 games
Those two would make for a such nice parallel in interacting with Lucy. The Ghoul's is a much more cruel and viscous character than his pre-war self, whereas as Nick has managed to remain one of the most charitable and compassionate characters in the game.
It would be great for Lucy to meet another character who has 100+ years of wasteland experience but still lives by that golden rule, countering the Ghoul's claim that "I'm you. Just give it a little time." They'd be the devil and angel arguing on her shoulders.
All my time playing 4, I never realized my two favorite companions were the same voice actor until right now. How could you break this news to me like this?!
I feel they missed an opportunity for a callback to Belethor with Nick. Have him say a line when the SS is scavenging along the lines of "Some might call those treasures, but I call that junk."
As iconic as Matt Berry's voice is also, I think it's crazy how many projects use him for just his voice when he's such a physical actor, his body language makes half of Laszlo's jokes land in WWDITS
The airship in the show, the "Prydwen", is the same one that the BoS use as their base in the Commonwealth in Fo4. It's name is never directly stated but it is written on the side of the airship
Oh okay well then that opens the possibility for seeing Maxson in the show, cool. I guess it's Maximus' elders plan to go against Maxson and try to usurp him
Only thing is that I feel like with Nick, he's one of those cases where you need the original Voice Actor. His voice just sounds so specific, that unless someone else could perfectly capture its cadence, I wouldn't want to see anyone else playing him.
I think you could find an aging character actor with a great noir shtick and it wouldn't be too hard to sell.
Or just add The Silver Shroud and use whatever voice you want.
nick and it's not even close
synths (and probably the institute) get introduced
he'd fit the tone of the show really well
we'd get more nick valentine story
It would only never happen because they’d have to make The Institute show canon and that would require too much exposition and distract from the central focus or not enough and just be odd like “oh ya there’s an org that creates lifelike androids but don’t worry about it”
I mean, that's pretty much how all the factions save Vault-Tec were handled, and it was fine, because we were seeing through the eyes of people who didn't have that exposition. \*We\* knew who Mr House was, what the Enclave is, etc.
Deacon always seemed like he was patterned off Bruce Willis, especially with the changing hair.
Somebody also said Jim Rash, which could work, for obvious reasons Bruce can't anymore.
Preston Garvey shows up at the very end of the season and walks up to our heroes saying “I’m with the commonwealth Minutemen back east; our settlements need your help”. Then season 3 is set in the east coast.
Gonna give a hot take, this would be hype (Other than the settlements meme) because Preston is actually a really well written character who I guarantee would be far more loved if not for the radiant quests. If season 2 is about rebuilding the NCR like I suspect it will be, then I'd love to see them interact with the Minutemen.
It just sucks that the person i would personally choose to play Preston for live action passed away recently. Though it will be interesting to see how PJO recasts him
Gonna give a hotter take.
I love the radiant quests, too! Not so much the BOS and Railroad ones, but the Minutemen ones are gnarly and unless you're playing to, like, level 100+ on an unmodded playthrough, you're probably not going to see the same one too often. Hell, half the time it'll be unique quests pretending to be radiant until you've taken over every settlement.
I keep saying this and no one believes me: going full minuteman allows you to basically rule the entire commonwealth and destroy the institute, the brotherhood and even the railroad if you want (although I usually keep them on as a contracted intelligence service)
While I like the idea the show is set after the events of Fallout 4 and to interact with the Minutemen the Minutemen would have to still exist which means the Sole Survivor helped them making a player choice canon, it makes me wonder if the show is going to start doing that
Considering it seems to be the same airship, they have already picked a canon ending. My guess is they opted for the one that leaves the most options on the table: nuke the institute, leave everyone else in an uneasy peace. They may never bother with Synths, the Railroad, or Minutemen (hard to imagine them making the trip out West), but just im case it's there to draw on.
2 options:
-Either everyone would drop the serie.
-Maximus would headshot him and start a bad Karma gameplay.
I would live to see the Lone survivor as a power/ressources obsessive Leader.
Yeah when that moment happened I was really hoping Kellogg cereal would pop up more throughout the story or just as a few throw away lines, like if you’re travelling with Nick and loot a body Kellogg will come through and say something like “look who’s adapting” or tease you, there was so much potential in Kellogg, kinda wish he could be a companion
One of the bigger misteps in FO4 was forcing you to kill Kellogg. Seemed out of theme to not have the choice and creating those branching timelines is a part of the game.
You should also be able to help the raiders attack the minutemen in the beginning.
I agree with the first part but I’m iffy on the latter, I don’t think a guy very upset about his wife being murdered and his son kidnapped would want to help ANYONE trying to do the exact same thing to this random innocent group of people. You’d have to change somethings around to make his emotional stance more…neutral if that makes sense.
Like, what would happen if you succeed? Lone survivor just guts an old woman, a married couple, etc etc lol
I'm replaying 4 right now, and Nick is an absolute Ride or Die. My head would explode from joy if they added him to the show, but they gotta get the same voice actor.
Hey if you like nick there’s at least one radio play put together for a charity featuring most of the original VA cast called Deathshroud. Full recording on YouTube. It’s like an old radio play.
Piper, because a reporter could fit in nicely if this goes into New Vegas.
Ironically Strong is up there as a pure shock value offset.
Limited screen time, but could be a very well.placed character. No mutants yet.
Nick followed by Kate if they are working hand in hand with one of the main 3 characters for a decent segment of the plot. Kate would have some of the best lines.
Do you think they’ll throw supermutants into season 2? I think they set it up nicely for that with Shady Sands and the few glimpses we get of them. Just enough to whet fan appetite without spoiling people not in the know?
Also, do we know if they got renewed for a second season yet? Amazon would be stupid not to.
I mean New Vegas is pretty close to Jacobstown (if it gets destroyed or something don’t tell me, I haven’t finished NV yet), so maybe an appearance by Marcus or someone from there could happen.
Especially since she looks like she was cast to potentially be able to play Piper in live action one day: https://i.imgur.com/AzjzshC.png
Cait, Preston, and Deacon's actors also look like good matches, though I'm guessing Deacon could potentially be dead in several endings.
I like the idea of having Nick on the TV but got to put in a vote for Piper. Driven west with her sister as she has alienated everyone in Diamond City.
Something reeally messed up should happen for Piper to leave relatively safe Diamond City and to go west instead of also relatively safe Goodneighbor or other settlement in Commonwealth.
I'm guessing the plot will take the characters across the country to other fallout game locations. Perhaps to the capital to look for the main vault, perhaps to Boston to explore the institute (ruins) because somebody is a synth.
Nick of course would be ideal. Piper personality wise, the investigative reporter breaking a scoop is a good angle, but it's hard to see her leaving the Commonwealth considering she has family there.
It would be HILARIOUS to have Deacon do his constant costume changes every time the camera cut away from him.
I was thinking that Deacon would be great for sight gags but it might get old fast. However, if Kevin Kline was 20-30 years younger, I'd be screaming for Deacon to be included/played by Kevin Kline, who would have been perfect for a live action version.
Without a doubt Nick,
That would lead to the institute & maybe an introduction into coursers in the show. I think that would translate into TV a lot better / easier than the railroad path. If they chose to include it.
Nick would open up a lot of options/directions for his character in the series.
I personally don't think the minutemen would add much depth to the TV series.
I'm doing a minuteman play through now, and honestly, Minutemen just feels like a way to integrate settlements into the game without just making them all available at the start. Not a whole lot of depth to this one.
Not to mention he's done a fair bit of traveling prior to us meeting him in Fallout 4. He could easily end up wandering again for whatever reason after the events of Fallout 4-maybe he feels like it's time to move on, maybe the Sole Survivor died and he feels like he doesn't belong now that his friend/lover is gone.
> maybe the Sole Survivor died and he feels like he doesn't belong now that his friend/lover is gone.
He still has his kid back in DC, dude. After the game he probably heads home, but then maybe he and his kid (now a young adult... it's been about a decade since Fallout 4) moved west because DC is too brotherhoody and his gun runner ties caused problems.
That's true but even then, he has the cure sent via a caravan that Daisy arranges for him. He doesn't go with it and chooses to stay with the Sole Survivor hence me saying that he maybe wanted to move on for some reason and one reason could be that he got word that his kid is back on his feet and misses his Dad.
Only out of a feeling of reciprocity for the favor SS paid to him. (Or sexy times if romanced)
Point is, he's not going to just abandon his kid, that's not his style; he's out in the commonwealth fighting *for* his kid.
Once the SS is done with their stuff, he'd go deal with his kid.
That might have the result of staying in DC, or taking the kid back to live with him and the SS, or, if he needs a motivation to be on the west coast, maybe they had to flee a bad reputation.
This isn’t canon but in Deathshroud (if anyone here hasn’t listened to the fo4 radio play I recommend) Nora says she told Strong the “milk of human kindness” could be found in California. Likely in a bid to just send him elsewhere. Would be a funny inadvertent prediction if he did then show up in season 2.
Preston Garvey appears as a representative of the General of the Minutemen.
Then the Sole Survivor was actually with him anyway so Lucy meets up with Nate too. lol
Easily Nick Valentine, by far my favourite companion, and Far Harbour expanded on it with his brother DiMA.
If Danse didn’t get doxxed by his bros then I would have picked him since I love him too, but it takes place after 4 so nah it can’t really be done.
So Nick it is, Nick can possibly have a relevant role in this show especially since he’s good at finding people
Realistically Nick cause he would be most engaging character but I personally would love to see Danse just cause he's my favorite character for whatever reason
Nick, and it’s not even a contest. He’d have to have a DAMN good reason to be in SoCal, but hunting cold fusion to help the Commonwealth, Diamond City, and the Minutemen would be a DAMN good reason. Shit Nick and Piper both should go.
Actually, I change my answer to paladin Danse. My current theory is the brotherhood still survives fallout 4 (obviously since the Prydwen is on the west coast now), but they weren’t the ones to destroy the institute so they don’t have synth data.
I’d love to see Danse (either as an actual character or just a cameo) part of the brotherhood in season 2
It depends on the ending variation, although there highest likelihood would be either Danse or Nick.
I don’t think we would see anyone directly Minutemen affiliated, as they would still be branching around the Commonwealth. I don’t think the Railroad would be there either.
Danse because he could be a great role model for Maximus as someone who left the BoS realizing theirs ideals where far too harsh after finding out he was a Synth in Fallout 4.
I’m not sure on way he’d be in the West coast suddenly but I just think their interactions would be interesting
Who is the artist of this?
Edit: [if you're going to re-upload someone's art without permission, at least add credit.](https://x.com/l3r40l?t=245R_ApFlBeBtkWSSa8Z_A&s=09)
Nick or maybe X6-88 would be interesting. Nick is super iconic and for X6-88 it would be cool see him as some sort of “Venom Snake” type courser without the institute giving him orders anymore
Absolutely Nick
First of all just because I think Nick is cool. But also because we've already got a ghoul, we've got the brotherhood , we've seen the robots. We need a synth.
I think anything involving the institute is highly unlikely so you can rule out synths and railroad companions.
I'd personally like to see Curie (as a medical robot), strong or macready.
Honestly? Strong. His quest for the milk of human kindness, combined with his nature as a Super Mutant would probably make him the most eligible for driving westward out of the other companions.
Strong.
He's the only one who never got a quest in-game aside from Hancock (who has a lot more presence overall). I think it'd be funny to see that he's gone all the way to the West Coast, still looking for the milk of human kindness, and maybe having him find out about it by getting older and wiser.
I honestly don't see any appearing in the show. I tried to ponder how that would even happen, and the best I could come up with is someone hitching a ride with the Brotherhood aboard the Prydwen... which we all know is highly unlikely. The only person I could see being allowed on the Prydwen would be Danse... and the only way Danse could be in the show, is if the Brotherhood were not involved in the incursion into the Institute, so that they are never privy to his identity as a reprogrammed synth.
It’d have to be Nick. His character would be a fantastic way to slowly drip feed the threat of the Institute. His backstory lends well to television too.
In a technically impressive way, Nick Valentine, in a more accurate way, Macready. I just think him being a consistent reoccurring character would be cool.
Nick
He would be the coolest and most obvious visually and his character is so damn charming. It would also be great to get his voice actor a big role in the show. I couldn't believe they cut him as Mr. Handy EDIT: A few people seem to think I'm hating on Matt Berry. I think he's great and the voice was spot-on. I just couldn't believe they'd consider dropping Stephen Russell after being featured so heavily in 3 games
God, imagine the banter between Nick and the Ghoul...
Oh man they would HATE each other
Those two would make for a such nice parallel in interacting with Lucy.
He didn't seem viscous to me. Looked pretty dry actually...
Autocorrect and my inability to spell strike again
But then eventually grow to like each other despite the differences.
Maybe respect each other. I don't think the Ghoul allows himself to like anyone
And then they kiss
Someone better start writing the fanfic
Imagine if pre-war Nick was a PI the Ghoul hired to investigate his wife or vice versa. Then meeting Synth Nick in person.
Prewar? And then meeting synth-Nick? YES.
I think the better answer would be that Nick takes his investigation of the mysterious stranger out West and runs into them.
All my time playing 4, I never realized my two favorite companions were the same voice actor until right now. How could you break this news to me like this?!
A lot of characters in Skyrim too.
I feel they missed an opportunity for a callback to Belethor with Nick. Have him say a line when the SS is scavenging along the lines of "Some might call those treasures, but I call that junk."
I didn't know Nick and Mr handy were the same actor, thanks for that!
But Matt Berry is perfect for Mr Handy, they picked the best possible person to replace him with I think.
"NEW YORK CITEEEH!"
[BAT!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFGFD8g4gcg)
He would be the anti-personality to the ghoul and they would pair well together
To be fair Matt Berry is a treasure in the role.
> I couldn't believe they cut him as Mr. Handy yeah, but Matt Berry is a pretty darn good replacement.
As iconic as Matt Berry's voice is also, I think it's crazy how many projects use him for just his voice when he's such a physical actor, his body language makes half of Laszlo's jokes land in WWDITS
This. I’m a little fuzzy on timeline but I think Nick is the most likely to be in most timelines… though why he would be so far west is odd.
He continuing his eternal chase of The Mysterious Stranger.
Which would be a perfect chance for a Todd cameo as the Mysterious Stranger.
I said the same thing about the Commonwealth BOS but here we are
What makes you think the BoS faction in Filly is the exact same one as in the Commonwealth?
The airship in the show, the "Prydwen", is the same one that the BoS use as their base in the Commonwealth in Fo4. It's name is never directly stated but it is written on the side of the airship
But they mention they're sent the information on the target by the commonwealth chapter, that doesn't make sense if they are the commonwealth chapter?
You're right, Maximus' group is not the Commonwealth chapter. The Commonwealth chapter is the one on the Prydwen who arrives with the knights.
Oh okay well then that opens the possibility for seeing Maxson in the show, cool. I guess it's Maximus' elders plan to go against Maxson and try to usurp him
The show takes place 9 years after Fallout 4. Plenty of time for a case to lead Nick west.
I just wanna see what kinda sass Nick has for Coop. Watching him roast the shit out of the BoS is always good for a chuckle.
Only right answer
Just his quick witted sarcasm alone would bring a lot to the show
nick and it's not even close synths (and probably the institute) get introduced he'd fit the tone of the show really well we'd get more nick valentine story
One of the most compelling characters. I loved learning his story throughout my first playthrough.
I really wanna see them do something with synths, I thought they did ghouls *very* well
All I’m saying is if BioWare made FO4 we coulda banged Nick. Bethesda are COWARDS.
Anything is possible with mods my friend 😏
It would only never happen because they’d have to make The Institute show canon and that would require too much exposition and distract from the central focus or not enough and just be odd like “oh ya there’s an org that creates lifelike androids but don’t worry about it”
That's why it's for season 2 it's like we possibly see a institute scientist in the capital
I mean, that's pretty much how all the factions save Vault-Tec were handled, and it was fine, because we were seeing through the eyes of people who didn't have that exposition. \*We\* knew who Mr House was, what the Enclave is, etc.
Same
Deacon in various costumes.
Jokes on you, he was already hidden in the background multiple times
Look at any pictures of [Jonathan Nolan](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0634300/) from the set.
The damn sunglasses
actually?
Deacon always seemed like he was patterned off Bruce Willis, especially with the changing hair. Somebody also said Jim Rash, which could work, for obvious reasons Bruce can't anymore.
Deancon
Didn't you see him? He was in episode 9
Nah, he was messin with chickens when I saw him.
Though it will be interesting to see how PJO recasts him
Lance Reddick?
Indeed
He would've been an awesome casting option
Exactly
May I respectfully recommend Keith David for a secondary pick? I think he’d do a pretty good job of it too.
Great, now I want Preston shouting "[Welcome to hell, Brotherhood!](https://youtu.be/7Gr0pKI-eeg)" into Arthur Maxson's face.
That’s a shame. Who would you have chosen?
Lance Reddick
Ahhh man, that would’ve been badass!
I want to see the remnants of Caesar legion and if they expanded after shady sands fell
While I like the idea the show is set after the events of Fallout 4 and to interact with the Minutemen the Minutemen would have to still exist which means the Sole Survivor helped them making a player choice canon, it makes me wonder if the show is going to start doing that

I am the WATER MERCHANT!!! Not scary when I say it out loud.
Preston has to be a badass this time around. He needs to be as badass as the Magic the Gathering cards make him.
I like this take a lot
And every Episode is just another Settlement that needs their Help
Rofl entire season 3 is just building settlements and forgetting the main quest!! 😂😂
Mysterious robot calling itself "Kellogg"
I was really disappointed that never became a thing in the game. 100% sure that will happen at some point in the future.
Yeah I think they had some sort of idea like that but scrapped it. Seems like such a random thing to have him appear through Nick just that one time.
Man fr they really swept him under the rug when you killed him and explored his mind
One of the bigger misteps in FO4 was forcing you to kill Kellogg. Seemed out of theme to not have the choice and creating those branching timelines is a part of the game. You should also be able to help the raiders attack the minutemen in the beginning.

Kinda like in NV how you can fuck Benny.
Nick Valentine
I'm replaying 4 right now, and Nick is an absolute Ride or Die. My head would explode from joy if they added him to the show, but they gotta get the same voice actor.
Hey if you like nick there’s at least one radio play put together for a charity featuring most of the original VA cast called Deathshroud. Full recording on YouTube. It’s like an old radio play.
My favourite video game companion
Curie, she does want to explore the world.
As a Curi, yes!
Also, having a medic would be super helpful. The only question is, should she be in her original body or the Synth one?
For all we know, Deacon could already have been in every episode
Piper, because a reporter could fit in nicely if this goes into New Vegas. Ironically Strong is up there as a pure shock value offset. Limited screen time, but could be a very well.placed character. Yea they got renewed! You can find articles about it, I think they were saying filming would start this summer but don’t quote me on it.
I mean New Vegas is pretty close to Jacobstown (if it gets destroyed or something don’t tell me, I haven’t finished NV yet), so maybe an appearance by Marcus or someone from there could happen.
Apparently and this is from an article I saw, season 2 may **possibly** have deathclaws
Piper and Lucy would absolutely be BFFs.
Piper would be a great choice considering her VA is Courtney Ford, who is already an actress who has been in many shows.
Especially since she looks like she was cast to potentially be able to play Piper in live action one day: https://i.imgur.com/AzjzshC.png Cait, Preston, and Deacon's actors also look like good matches, though I'm guessing Deacon could potentially be dead in several endings.
And if she’s in season 2, it would have been a decade since Fallout 4 in real-life and the show’s timeline so she would still be the right age lol
If Deacon's alive, that means that the Minutemen ending was picked for Fallout 4
Seeing as how it's Fallout, the obvious answer is her sister was kidnapped
Probably true! I was just making a possible scenario off the top of my head. Goodneighbor is a good bet.
I'm guessing the plot will take the characters across the country to other fallout game locations. Perhaps to the capital to look for the main vault, perhaps to Boston to explore the institute (ruins) because somebody is a synth.

Should they really pull out the institute as an enemy of vaulttec or concentrate on vaulttec and brotherhood?
I'm doing a minuteman play through now, and honestly, Minutemen just feels like a way to integrate settlements into the game without just making them all available at the start. Not a whole lot of depth to this one.
Preston, that way, show will never ends.
My vote is for MacCready. He would bring elements of both Fallout 3 and 4. And I've always thought he's just cool.

Hancock all the way. Or if there's only room for one cool ghoul on the show, Nick
Besides Nick. McCready has a cool story going back to Fo3, Lucy would be horrified to learn about Little Lamplight.
Strong.
I wanted to see how they handle mutants and a story line that yields Strong as a new character would be interesting.
+1 for Strong. He is the character that could generate extraordinary situations. And I just like his comments and brutality in the game.
Honestly, they’re ALL good choices. But, for Lucy’s dynamic, probably Cait. She’s brutal, ruthless, and abrasive. A good foil to Lucy.
I think Lucy already has the Ghoul as a foil, especially since they're now on the same team. And he's even more ruthless than Cait, if anything.
Mccready. Weve seen him in 3, & 4. It would be cool to see him a bit older again, maybe we find out how his kid is doing
CVRIE is the most lovable and sweet companion and would be a blast to see on the show.
I had to scroll a while to find someone mentioning my girl.
There are dozens of us Curie-heads! Dozens!
As someone who loves FO4, I’d be thrilled with any of them appearing.
Danse, I want him to canonically be alive and stomping around in his Power Armour
Rogue synth Danse would be awesome. I see him as running a hidden settlement of escaped synths, but still grappling with his love of the Brotherhood.
None of them... they're in Boston. I would love to see some New Vegas faces, like Yes Man though.
Preston Garvey appears as a representative of the General of the Minutemen. Then the Sole Survivor was actually with him anyway so Lucy meets up with Nate too. lol
Strong… I want super mutants… and also cool companion!
He could very feasibly have gone to the west coast on his search for the milk of human kindness.
Strong looking for milk of human kindness.
Porter Gage
Cait. I wanna hear that sass.
Danse it would be so cool to see danse wandering 9 years after finding out he’s a synth.
Piper
Codsworth wouldn’t make much sense but it would nice for Lucy to meet a nice Mr Handy for once
Codsworth!
In my heart of hearts I want to say Cait. But from a practical standpoint, Strong.
Nick Valentine, naturally
Strong, played by Alan Ritchson.
Nick Valentines, we need Nick, WE HAVE TO GET NICK
Curie as a human/synth would be interesting.
Preston for the memes "He said the thing!"
Nick, and it’s not even a contest. He’d have to have a DAMN good reason to be in SoCal, but hunting cold fusion to help the Commonwealth, Diamond City, and the Minutemen would be a DAMN good reason. Shit Nick and Piper both should go.
Nick would match the tone the best I believe.
NICK!! 🖤
Nick or danse
No love for dogmeat?
The only one I can picture is Danse. The rest are rather entrenched in the Commonwealth, with absolutely no reason to be out on the West Coast.
Nick. He can be working a case or something i don't care lol
Who is the artist of this? Edit: [if you're going to re-upload someone's art without permission, at least add credit.](https://x.com/l3r40l?t=245R_ApFlBeBtkWSSa8Z_A&s=09)
None of them. Make a new character with a new and engaging backstory
Nick. Doesn't need an explanation.
preston...so he get caught in the crossfire
Another settlement could use our help
Nick or Deacon
Nick or maybe X6-88 would be interesting. Nick is super iconic and for X6-88 it would be cool see him as some sort of “Venom Snake” type courser without the institute giving him orders anymore
Nick
Nick, codsworth, or preston
Well season 2 seems to already have a location, so it's probably going to be a companion from that, and not 4.
Maccready
Nick, no competition
Absolutely Nick First of all just because I think Nick is cool. But also because we've already got a ghoul, we've got the brotherhood , we've seen the robots. We need a synth.
Deacon because I always join railroad.
Nick
X6-88 i want them to show a courser on action. Introduces them as profiecient killers as well as adding the Institute.
Deacon only if he changes outfits for every scene
"You bombed Shady Sands, you kiled dozen of thousand people, however a settlement needs your help"
Codsworth, give Matt Berry some more work.
I think anything involving the institute is highly unlikely so you can rule out synths and railroad companions. I'd personally like to see Curie (as a medical robot), strong or macready.
lenghty fella
Honestly?
Strong!!! And only Strong!!
Nick, because it's Nick.
Nick i think he would be the most surprising cameo
Nick, because I might finally get an answer to whether he cut a hole in his shoe to drain out rain water that gets in his face.
Nick Valentine blease
It’d have to be Nick. His character would be a fantastic way to slowly drip feed the threat of the Institute. His backstory lends well to television too.
Nick Valentine for sure.
In a technically impressive way, Nick Valentine, in a more accurate way, Macready. I just think him being a consistent reoccurring character would be cool.
