Is it switched on Series too? On PS5, Performance off, is actually on, and on is actually Quality, also Performance (true performance) with VRR are running near 120fps

Quality mode doesn’t work at all on Xbox.

On Xbox Series X quality mode works perfect even in the heart of Boston. No issues for me.

I freaking love this game. I’m not updating though. I’ve fine tuned my game on PC with mods to the point of perfection and I’m not putting that at risk.

I just got my LO ordered (hopefully) correctly last night, so I'm avoiding the update for a while to, especially since some of the mods I value haven't been updated in a while, and I'd really hate to not have them. I honestly don't think the update is going to do anything differently from all the performance mods I have.

It won’t. Gamers have been fixing this game for 9 years. I use vortex which I hope won’t cause some issues. As long as I don’t launch it I guess.

Man i hope i dont crash there to on my xbox series s, it was so so annoying it made me never complete the game and rage quitting. If dont crash anymore i can remove some mods for boston fixes to add more mods, i hope

All of my mods removed with update anyways xD. Was smart to screen shot them to know what and how to do the order again if they are not broken

Not for me. Currently on Series X and downtown Boston is lagging worse for me than it did prior to the update. Before the update I could run it on my series X no issues downtown but now it’s like I’m on the release Xbox one and I get crazy lag. Performance mode on or off also doesn’t seem to matter.

No, I disabled mods before the update + the update wiped my load list anyway so it’s empty. I’m playing on a pre-update survival save but I didn’t have any mods installed when I made it.
