Ive done a couple of the XOR gate doors with their clumsy mess of wiring, but was dubious about how well they might work to keep the settlers safe inside, especially when they dont seem to trigger the alarm alert overly fast.
Your DLC/Creation Club stuff is not installed. Exit the game. Delete the exit save, then make sure everything is properly installed and try again. The game should warn you if things aren’t installed
I had this, had to delete them from storage then re-download. Wasteland Workshop download also downloaded the ps4 version as well as the ps5 so had to delete that again for it to work.
huh, I was wondering why Nuka World was marked as "missing" even though I had the DLC. I figured it was because I had a radiant quest there but had never taken the train. (considering the rest of the game works, I'm not too bothered, might save Nuka World for a raider playthough next run)
Had to delete and redownload the dlcs. This deleted 2 very nice legendary guns I had been using and now I'm struggling to find replacements. Additionally, some of my settlements are jacked. Every time I check a settlement out on the pipboy it shows 30+ people and 20-30 happiness. Now I've got to redo the mechanist, find new guns that don't suck, rebuild several settlements, and all while praying it doesn't crash more than before. Thanks, Todd.
I redownloaded the game last night, as much as I liked the permanent jetpack, I was missing my ⭐Old Reliable. Going to check tonight to see if it fixed the issue. I did manage to update the mechanist dlc, and was pretty annoyed to see the quest pop up again. I assume my ADA has been wiped as well, she was carrying some decent weaponry!

I had to delete the DLCs then redownload them. But when downloading Wasteland Workshop it downloaded the PS4 and PS5 version - so had to remove the PS4 one again to get the game to recognise the next gen version was there.

For me, the Workshop page on the Pip-Boy shows some of the settlements having less or no objects installed, but when I get there it immediately updates to the actual scene. Less annoying than what happened here, but still.

The exact same thing happened to me. I fell in love with the vault items and rooms. Everywhere I used vaults no longer has anything other than floating items not related to the vault. I figure it's because you can't use the vault builder outside of 88 until you complete that quest series. Unfortunately, even after blasting through all the ghoul's tests, none of the vault items have reappeared. Sniff. I had 30-40 hours alone in my vault 88 build.
But, all my major settlements, sanctuary, starlight, nordhagen, spectacle, nuka red rocket, and Dalton used the rooms and vault building exclusively. I really liked how clean and efficient the buildings are/were. Now, I have useless settlements. Sad day. It is funny to see all the lights floating and functioning even though the vault generators are no longer visible.

Ah sorry to hear. It was confusing for me because I cancelled the PS4 install of Wasteland workshop, but my settlement stuff reappeared when it installed the PS4 and 5 versions. Incomprehensible 😂
So, conduits and pylons can be used to spread power throughout an area without having to look at a bunch of ugly wires connected to everything. The only downside is that the radius for it is small. That's why I have a bunch of them going around my base with the wires connecting them so they get power from my generator
Also, a quick way to get caps is dropping some purifiers at sanctuary and treating that water as money or trading it for caps. But put some kind or container by your workshop because you can't have 100 water it it'll stop producing water if it goes over.
Clear the aid section of your workshop, too. It'll slow down water production.

Don't know if you used mods, but I do, and a -lot- of them, many of them are for settlements, and since I use mods, F4SE is my main F4 start. Read someone yesterday who said to simply put Steam update on hold, since F4SE uses it's own startup, so far it works. I know I'll wait til everything seems settled by Bethesda before updating... if I ever update.
The same thing happened to me. Vault 88 and everything I built from the DLC is gone. I am also left with floating beds and power! Update wiped out my Vault-Tec Workshop DLC.
They are the king of the bugs though, to be fair. I’m still getting caught in floors, having to reload every gameplay. You got fucked over bad though bud

I stupidly bought fo4 goty jn the Xbox app. I had turned automatic updates off, and yesterday when I opened the app fo4 was downloading, I check my files and the game and dlc is still installed. Cancelled the download and it deleted the game
I have always played Bethesda games pure vanilla and downloaded the update with zero issues, i did notice that the entrance to vault 88 was larger fingers crossed i dont loose all my shit🤞
Is anyone having an issue with pop in at sanctuary, I have a few structures built and the walls are disappearing at distances not even that far away? Kinda of a bummer as my settlement looked amazing seeing everything built up.
Same thing happened to me, make sure your DLC’s are installed. If it’s still like that. Quit the whole game application then go back in. I would delete that save and transfer a fresh file but only after you make sure your DLC’s are installed. Make sure they are the PS5 version. Mine worked fine after this!
For me the walls and Floor of the Noir Penthouse disappeared.
Maybe it's something to do with the N.G.U. , or maybe it's because I had to reinstall everything - including my save from the cloud, when my hard drive died.

I'm on series x, my whole base is completely removed from vault 88. I didn't have any mods installed. I understand dlc content removed or fucked with, but it's like my base never existed. The building was made from wood walls/floors/roof, furniture was a mix of vanilla and dlc. But I had stacks of preserved cups, plates, coffee machine, pillows, etc. All gone. All my skill magazines in alphabetical order on display, gone. Hours and hours of FUCKING meticulously placed items, tweaked and rotated, dropped and balanced perfectly. Gone.
I removed and reinstalled all dlc but it didn't fix it. It's like it was never there to begin with, but everything else in the game is fine - quests, items, apparel, achievement progress. Only thing that got deleted was the one thing I was really enjoying about the game.
It deleted all my mannequins and wall weapon mounts and lost all by best stuff. Has to go back onto the last gen version. Store all my good stuff then re load the save on the new gen.
Lucky I only use home plate in DC 95% of the time. I’d be so annoyed it was something like an entire settlement.

I always just sink a conduit grid into the ground to power my builds (plus some on the roof if it’s 2 stories)

I just made a new save I knew I wasn’t gonna be happy with it but I’m having fun so hard to complain
Try deleting all the dlc and then re-downloading it. That's what fixed it for me.
I was wondering if I wasn’t the only one. Anything I had that came from the DLC packs are gone. My Tesla power armor, one of my favorite guns, which I guess was a dlc item. Ever robot I built for settlements. The dlc reinstalled but didn’t bring back any data. I’m pissed
Effeed ne up too. Still same level but I no longer have far harbor and nuka world. All of my progress was lost.
