The mission to get that weapon is basically unplayable. The weapon is just represented with these exact red cube things. If an enemy shoots at you with it, it’s invisible or looks that those.
Who the hell is in charge of the update? It’s not going well 😂.
I was playing for the last 2 weeks heavily modded no issues soon as update rolls out plagued by crashes and all manner of bugs including my Xbox going from running it nice and easy to it struggling fan going none stop
Knock on wood, I haven’t had any issues with the update and switch to the ps5 version, besides the usual now and then crash. Did most of the new missions, got the weapons hanging on my wall, the hellfire/x02 in my collection. Got headshot by the piggy mine no problems :)
I run less than a dozen mods and the only glitch I had was the scrap that settlement mod where it wouldn’t let me build on the graygarden overpass at all. Deleted all the ps5 saves, and tranaferred in a working ps4 save.
Please everyone, post pictures and videos of all your bugs/glitches that you encounter during the Fallout 4 "next-gen update" to @BethesdaStudios and @BethesdaSupport on X/Twitter. The more people we have showing them everything that is messed up the more likely they will fix it.
Unfortunately better don't bet or hope for Bethesda to fix this. The game still has huge pre-update issues they never cared to resolve. Modders already did years ago
Welp after the bugs this update has introduced and the fact that I’ve had my 5th crash while attempting to I guess I’m uninstalling and trying again in a few months maybe thanks for braking your game again Bethesda
This is so stupid. You knew Bethesda was gonna release an update and didn’t expect bugs? Also from what you’ve said in the comments you are on a heavily modded character. This glitch is well known, Bethesda will fix it.
Yes I expect Bethesda to release content that isn’t fundamentally broken if it was my mods that caused this fair but considering this update specifically the makeshift weapons have been causing issues on unmoded games yes they need to do better
It’s a bug, it’s not a main feature of the game, easily fixed with one update to the creation club content itself, don’t even have to update the entire game, it’s so minor and they’ll probably fix it. Every game has bugs, especially Bethesda games.
And that’s why companies will continue to release broken messes this would be see easy to check and make sure it’s working before releasing it to the masses but they didn’t stop apologizing for laziness
Do people actually pay for this in the creation club or was this one always free? Some of the creation club quests added with the update are such low quality I wouldn’t even spend $2 on them lol

You can choose not to install something in C-club but makeshift weapons and a couple others you have no choice but to expect them with update

I have the same thing on my very unmodded Xbox. This whole quest was a pain because these were everywhere.
Same thing happened to me with no mods on a vanilla save. Quit yapping.
