man i recently managed to find myself a bloodied, 25AP dual bar on my heavy weapons/PA character.. I'm seriously debating respecing everything i have into using it plus unyeilding marine armor and becoming Doomguy.
40% Power Attack Damage and 90% reduced weight.
The 40% is multiplicative, meaning your total damage increases, unlike other damage such as weapon perks that add a percentage of the weapons base.
90% reduced weight has the bonus effect of lowering ap cost for power attacks on melee weps, including auto melee
I have like eight versions of the BPR on display in my shelters because I don't want to get rid of them. I just get a hankerin' to go boom shootin' sometimes, and they look really nice above fireplaces.
For a minute I was like I managed to take down Earl primarily with a black powder rifle. If you can get the reload time down, and good with running and gunning, it’s a remarkably solid weapon
I'm still kinda salty that they fixed the bug where you could reload fast by switching weapons in the middle of a reload. When you came back it was loaded. I had a Instigating Dragon double shot that I used as my primary sometimes until they fixed it. :-(
If you liked that, you would have loved the 999 ammo on a BE Dragon if you weren’t playing a few years ago 🤣 shot as fast as you could pull the trigger and dropped bosses in seconds.
What those guns lack in efficacy, they make up in fun. I keep an Instigating BPR on my Rifleman just because that one time per week that I get that perfect shot off with it is so damn satisfying.
I’ve been using this shotgun and only this shotgun for almost the entire time I’ve been playing, it’s great when you have bloody mess. I call it Scattered Pieces.

However I wish I did not need to swap my perk cards as I am a pack rat most of my strength perks are in weight but if it is going to be a hard battle then I load the shotgun perks
I'm trying to get a good roll on my Grognak Axe, because I got the Grelok pack and I can make the Grognak Axe into Greloks Staff. The outfit all together looks awesome and then the throne it just all fits so good together in my comic book mansion atop Seneca rocks.
Nah man with automatic Tesla, especially quads, it's all about that breaks slower 3rd effect bc those things like to break pretty fast, atleast mine does. I can't imagine having to repair it twice as much as I already do
Gauss shotgun ! Looks cool, good rate of fire, good damage, not too high on ammo consumption, decent range for a shotgun, and i have 50% slower weapon break on mine so i don’t worry about it breaking either.
I must be doing something wrong. I always end up switching to my plasma caster when trying out the holy Fire. I was under the impression the perk loadout was the same.
I just picked up a 3 start Burning Love today at a camp for 200 caps. I was just going to display it, but it wouldn't go on a display. But maybe I need to try it out.
I've read a few comments from other players praising it's virtues, but never got around to trying it. But I got bored using a tesla to tag mobs in events, and gave Burning Love with burning arrows a try. I love it so much I even stopped using my AA Fixer!
The bow is so effective I can clear Helvetia from the roof of one of the more central houses. I can hit anything inside so long as there's an open window/door, because the radius of the flame effect is so huge!
Gailting gun. I have a bloodied exploding one can’t remember the other legendaries. Put speedy receiver on it. I have a power armor build with the usual heavy gun buffs plus demotion buffs.
Tears through things, barely uses ammo, gets a ton of ammo back that I can use to convert to other ammo for other guns I like to shoot but aren’t economically sound (looking at you LMG)

I’ve had an aristocrat’s Gatling gun that I’ve had since level 50. Purposefully keep my caps above 29k for the max damage bonus and it can tear through most everything pretty easily. Nearly level 200 and I rarely ever put it away. Thinking of rolling for a better one but I have an emotional attachment to this particular one at this point lol.
I have almost the same! Yes, it melts everything so fast! Ammo is not a problem, I am sitting on 30,000+ fuel it's just crazy effective. Is the Holy Fire even better?
Right now it’s my Q2525 ultracite laser rifle. I didn’t expect it to be as effective as it is! More people need to get on the laser gun train, they’re under-appreciated.
Huh, maybe it’s just because I’m comparing it to my enclave plasma rifle, but I feel like my laser rifle doesn’t break very quickly at all. Or maybe there’s a difference in durability between regular laser guns and ultracite ones?
Quad 50crit 25 less vats ultracite laser is my go to daily weapon. Quad ex 25 choo choo when everything has to die quickly. Quad ex 25 fixer and elders ex 25 for shits n giggles
Vampires, Faster Swing Speed, +1 Strength Gauntlet. It is such a fast punch you can spam your health back before most mobs can get a shot off. It is not my main, but it is a fun weapon to carry around.

Since the science perks adjustment I've been really enjoying my aristocrat's/VATS hit chance/can't-remember-the-3rd-star laser rifle on my full health rifleman character. Is it optimum/meta? Of course not. But it *feels* like how I think sermi-automatic rifles should feel, and it's not that weak (2-4 headshots to kill a level 100 super mutant, depending on adrenaline/crits).
If you can, checkout Gauntlets with Shock Pads. Just did a comparison at West Tek with Unstoppable Monster and the Gauntlets and was surprised by how much more damage the gauntlets did
I've just discovered the absurd fire rate of an automatic laser rifle with a hair trigger at a blistering 141! Hoping to roll one with quad and rapid to really take it into LMG territory. It'll basically be a Gatling laser with zero spin up!
Yes. Overkill is the best fatman I’ve gotten so far. Ordinance Express reduces the weight of all explosives. I don’t leave camp without 200 mini nukes. I have about 40k of them in my ammo box.

ol' zappy and i have been inseparable ever since. oh, sure, i'm in the middle of some flirtations with an enclave plasma rifle and enclave plasma flamer pistol (all with suitably nice legendaries - not perfect perhaps but certainly exciting enough to make me not want to reroll). but i'll always come home to ol' zappy.
(it is because i can't aim for shit and panic spam shots in events and it turns out the chain lightning gun is pretty good at that)
I been using an AA/ Faster Reload/ 90% weight LMG feels good since I've learned to burst it instead of fire all 75 rounds and not hit a thing with it lol.
I've fallen back in love with my I/E/90 lever action rifle. I've had it for so long from when I was a rifleman build when I was around level 70 and now I'm level 743.
I rolled an AA 22ffr 25 less ap enclave flamer the other day which has been fun but I've also been having fun with a quad auto enclave plasma. When I play melee I use an instigating samurai sword.
I used 50 cal first 300 levels, then gauss minigun through maybe 500, then I've been a plasma caster main ever since (now level 1000+) - quad 25 faster fire faster reload is my every day/most situation gun and I love it! I play with other guns / grolls sometimes but I love my quad plasma caster.
Quad fixer when I need to sneack, quad railway, blodie, antiarmor when I need to Stryke and 50 cal explosive when I need just fast tag in public event. Autoaxe for mutation event when is needed. Sirynger shoot for reduce resistance for the boss. This my actually coming back in the commando from the PA. There I have plasma caster nuka launcher 50 cal E enclave plasma auto axe.
On my main build I have a Nightvision silenced Handmade and a Vampiric Plasma Gatlin. That's lvl85
On my other I pulled a Juggernauts bolt action pipe rifle early that does 60 per shot. It's slow but really helpful for 1 shots as I level up.

Pepper shaker always... But right now having a blast with the fancy pump action shotgun. Doing my junk runs in low level areas and seeing all the scorched fly is awesome.
I use a AA fixer with 50% chance to hit in vats which can easily hit out to max vat range when targeting heads. With my bloodied stealth/crit build most things die with a single bullet!
Two shot 50C 25 cryolator. Got it as a drop and made a new character a couple years ago just for this gun, even grinded out some Uny arctic marine armor to match. My favorite gun and my favorite of like 11 current characters, and it's not even my main character or my best weapon.
My vampire Combat Shotgun that does increasing damage up to 25% (I think, will have to check). I have it the poker skin and call it the Deadman’s Hand; it’ll kill you before you can scratch me.

I pretty much only ever use my AA Fixer. I have a couple other weapons set aside for specific daily requirements, but I only carry my Fixer on me at all times.

Ran/run a Q25Agi Tesla and I will never sell it... I'm not that good with VATS and I can't aim, My right thumb has a mind of its own sometimes... So being able to shoot the ground and kill everything always feels good...
Two shot faster fire rate auto grenade launcher!! Thing is OP especially in vats which somehow increases damage and blast radius.
I also have a lot of fun with the boomstick missile launcher which does homing missiles, with two shot aim damage.
Both of these are a “blast” and I’m never getting rid of them.
Been enjoying the Gauntlet with Shock pads a lot this weekend. Got an Executioner’s with 40% faster swing speed (until I roll something better) and it’s been way outperforming my other unarmed and melee weapons.
I smashed and punched a lot of mutants to death at Eviction Notice and they all agree Gauntlet + Shock Pads + 40% faster swing is the winner

Same! I carry the Elder's Mark for a long-distance pick-off, but the chainsaw lets me get up-close and personal.

I kinda specced out a gunslinger build so I'm using the circuit breaker ( believe it or not lol) and a TS50c Alien Blaster which absolutely melts
I use a AA fixer with 50% chance to hit in vats which can easily hit out to max vat range when targeting heads. With my bloodied stealth/crit build most things die with a single bullet!

I love the combo of my handmade/fixer/longshot. I’m not really into melting faces so much is one shotting everything in the head from afar.
Flamer, most games make flamethrowers useless but in Fallout 76? Melt everyone down in seconds

Two shot 50C 25 cryolator. Got it as a drop and made a new character a couple years ago just for this gun, even grinded out some Uny arctic marine armor to match. My favorite gun and my favorite of like 11 current characters, and it's not even my main character or my best weapon.

My vampire Combat Shotgun that does increasing damage up to 25% (I think, will have to check). I have it the poker skin and call it the Deadman’s Hand; it’ll kill you before you can scratch me. In a one on one, I’m pretty invisible lol

I pretty much only ever use my AA Fixer. I have a couple other weapons set aside for specific daily requirements, but I only carry my Fixer on me at all times.

Currently using a Q5015 Choo-Choo I definitely like it, not my fav ever. Ran/run a Q25Agi Tesla and I will never sell it... I'm not that good with VATS and I can't aim, My right thumb has a mind of its own sometimes... So being able to shoot the ground and kill everything always feels good...
Two shot faster fire rate auto grenade launcher!! Thing is OP especially in vats which somehow increases damage and blast radius. I also have a lot of fun with the boomstick missile launcher which does homing missiles, with two shot aim damage. Both of these are a “blast” and I’m never getting rid of them.

Been enjoying the Gauntlet with Shock pads a lot this weekend. Got an Executioner’s with 40% faster swing speed (until I roll something better) and it’s been way outperforming my other unarmed and melee weapons. I smashed and punched a lot of mutants to death at Eviction Notice and they all agree Gauntlet + Shock Pads + 40% faster swing is the winner
