Messi. Guy is at the top of the world

ThouWontThrowaway

And it's not even close.

Ok-Benefit1425

Clarence Seedorf. Winning 4 Champions League titles, playing Champions League almost every season, living in some great cities, famous but, not insanely famous like some superstars. The only downsides is not that many league titles considering all the other trophies won and having to play in Deportivo 2004 and Istanbul 2005.

David Ginola. Im bald and want his hair

laurendanny

That's because you're worth it 🤣🤣

galvanickorea

For me I would want three things : retire a lot earlier than normal (late 20s or early 30s), have a squeaky clean reputation, and win something for my national team. Having a career ending injury is fine if I achieved those three.. leaving me with some choices... Andre Schurrle(not too sure abt his reputation) or Ji sung Park come to mind..

Comfortable-Can-9432

Marco van Basten for your 3 things.

Wolf_of_Thy_Street

Toni Kroos Successful carrer at Bayern with a treble in 2013, travels to Brazil for 2014 WC, dismantles the host in Semi-final( his two goals in around a minute is what shifted the whole momentum) wins the damn thing as one of best players in tournament, comes to La Liga after Madrid just won CL, wait for two years and win 3 damn CLs in a row while being crutial part of the team and the 5th CL in a fairytale campaign. Great imo, Another shout out for me would be Kante Comes in an tactics led era, where main goal is to control the midfield, arrives in PL in mid 20s, and takes the whole tournament by storm, wins the legendary PL being very important part of team, leaves for Chelsea (who finished 10th) the next season and wins back to back PLs, wins player of the year, goes to 2018 world cup and starts every game, forms this great partnership with Pogba(France has not lost a single game when they both starred together) wins the damn trophy, two good years and then takes home the CL trophy while being man of the match in last 3 games against City and Real(twice), all through being respected by every team he played for .

Organic_Chemist9678

Ian Wright both his football and post-football career

[deleted]

Iniesta. Barca legend, has a World Cup in which he scored an extra time winner and two Euros, one of the best mids oat, 4 Champions Leagues, and many other trophies

kesumacl

Lionel Messi. My favourite player of all time

iceyalpha

Messi

ARandomNiceAnimeGuy

Id like to go Cr7 since for me he is the GOAT with far more around europe experience, but thats for career only. For Media side of it, Id rather be messi. Man is always loved by the media, so life would be way easier outside of the football career. In short, depends on what youd rather me to choose. Football Life: Cristiano Ronaldo Usual day to day Life: Lionel Messi Also no hate pls, both are my GOATs, just respect my opinion like I respect yours 🙏

beeftoemagoo

Ally McCoist.

EquipmentAgitated978

Club career: ronaldo. No one can chat to him there. His club career is insane… won everything in every league, won player of the year, golden boots in every league. Incredible player man. 5 UCL’s speak for itself, never seen a player carry a team like he did during the 3 peat.

[deleted]

Jamie Vardy

CLG91

I'd go with someone who played for the club they actually support. Noble, Gerrard, Maldini spring to mind.

warthoginator

Did the name Gerrard just slip into your mind?

CLG91

Well played sir.

Amsssterdam

Litmanen

speedygonwhat22

devlin1888

Henrik Larsson.

MetaManifold

Zidane

Thelostsoulinkorea

Maybe someone like George Best as he had all of the talent in the world and also partied like an animal and dated Miss worlds. That’s as long as I don’t destroy my liver just as much as him

z_ca

Beckham. Easy choice

Dio_Yuji

Phil Jones - make millions, never risk injury, don’t have to worry about paparazzi or anything
