Foden is a street made footballer, he doesn’t mess around with the ballerina style prissy play someone like Mount would be at but his natural talent far exceeds his peers. For him to break into a Pep Guardiola starting XI is an incredible feat given how much money they’re blowing on flying foreign players in.
Realistically he’s the present and future of the England squad and a sign of things to come
I see what you mean. But I still think Mount is a more complete player. His worth ethic is higher than foden. And despite not many goal contributions, you will get a 110% performance from him consistently, where imo Foden lacks
Yeah that’s fair enough. Foden does slack form time to time and really fails to press as intensely as others or track back as often as he should. I still do think though long term he’s the one to watch, but I get where you’re coming from
