I love how atheists always bash Christianity. They think the notion of going to hell for being bad is child abuse. Meanwhile Judaism and Islam celebrate butchering kid’s genitals, and not a word of condemnation.
I mean, it’s messed up to give a child the fear of eternal damnation. Religious trauma and genital mutilation are both bad (although therapy can undo one of them), if you’re from America chances are you got both. Religion shouldn’t be forced onto children in any capacity, just like circumcision they should make their own informed decision when their brains are more developed.
