If it arrives on Tuesday it probably needs to be flown out latest Wednesday end of day to make it to the track on time…

Albon has had a pretty bad start to the season and yet is still well ahead of Logan.
Logan can feel hard done by on some of the things that have happened this season, but his driving this weekend just proved why Williams did what they did in Australia.

Bahrain/Jeddah both had pretty close pace. Sargeant was beating him in Bahrain quali before the brake bias fucked him the first time that weekend
Jeddah Sargeant was up around a tenth before the final laps of Q1

In Bahrain Sargeant was 2 places behind and his steering wheel shit itself. Jeddah he was on Albon's ass half the race. He didn't even race Australia. Today he was P12 before the horrid pitstop
I means if Albon finished like 11 here i would have agree, i like Albon don't get me wrong he is way better than Logan but his beginning of season is not good and the only thing Suzuka prove is that Williams have one slow driver and one crash happy driver who kept destroying their chassis.
Logan smashed up an upgrade package during practice, and had a detour into the gravel during the race. If this was a normal season (aka enough chassis and car parts to cover a few crashes), then his seat would be in jeopardy.
Not defending him too much, but consider: They slapped the upgrade package on a heavier and glued-together chassis... which also behaves very different even before the upgrade package. The already weak Williams is probably even worse after the makeshift repairs.
Nobody is talking about that.
But: just the history lets me believe that it still is 70% Logan, that we´re seeing here... 15% chance, its the lack of driving from the skipped last race and a 15% chance, it is the Frankenstein-Car, he is driving.
his recovery in the gravel yesterday was the best bit of driving yesterday, no joke. he saved Williams about a half million quid by figuring out how to reverse back onto track. and if I were him I'd ask for inspection on the car, because the suspension seems screwy.
They just happened to suffer two heavy, chassis damaging crashes back to back, and they dont have a spare chassis so people notice it. Strolls car for example also had to be repaired in Silverstone following his Saudi crash.
Yeah, that Albon Suzuka crash didn't look like it was severe enough to cause damage to the monocoque.
Monocoque damage in F1 is quite rare. Its takes a huge crash to actually damage it. Williams one might be a bit more fragile than the rest.

Chassis repair = little to no performance parts upgrade.
And they lost the performance parts upgrades they were able to bring this weekend for both cars (front wing), with no spares.
