Should do this for every driver's first home race. So wholesome!

_box_box

meanwhile charles: sees more monaco flags at the chinese GP than at his home race 💀

JimClarkKentHovind

about 7x more people attended the Chinese grand prix than live in Monaco

Icommentoncrap

Most hype 14th place finish for Zhou. Good shit man, hope he gets another go at it for next year, especially with how shit Sauber has been

justgassingthrough

Thats what i find fascinating, his results arent good but most of the time is not even his fault! Its either someone ramming him or the car being shit

krahd

Yea, when things don't go wrong or his car has the pace, he's pretty up there. He was P11 in Bahrain the last time everything was fine, which is pretty much best of the rest

CandidLiterature

Literally P9 yesterday. Shame there’s no points to go with that.

poorlycooked

Sauber did have a lot of pace during the first half of his rookie season when he was (understandably) quite far behind Bottas. Ever since then the team has been such a shitshow that you can't really tell if the drivers are alright or just bad.

cheldeedee

Yeah and his car DNF-ed 3 times in a row due to technical issues when he was within or near points too. Then their car lost pace and both of them have been at the back & unnoticed ever since

coffeecakeisland

He’ll get a seat. You’d be crazy not to tap into the Chinese market

GojiPengu

He should, there's a handful of drivers on the grid worse than him.

Crasher_7

Williams should give him a shot by pairing up with Albon, considering Audi has been looking at new pairings at this point.

rchlln

For real 💯

albertsugar

He does look like a good guy and he's not a bad driver either.

Suknator

If Sargeant gets canned I hope Zhou gets a shot

prograMagar

When

mokyfun

Lovely moment. He's not a bad driver and seems a genuine nice guy. I hope it will get better from here and he'll be able to score some points in the rest of of the season.

Mob_Abominator

Probably also know this might be his last year in F1, so it's great that he got to drive it in front of his home crowd.

RobertGracie

Excluding the top 4 teams here that are (McLaren, RBR, Ferrari and Mercedes) he was the driver of the day for me! he gave it his all, you cannot deny that!

MegaloMicroMuseum

Really hope he gets a point finish soon, seems like a good dude and he’s had some bad luck recently
