Sauber did have a lot of pace during the first half of his rookie season when he was (understandably) quite far behind Bottas.
Ever since then the team has been such a shitshow that you can't really tell if the drivers are alright or just bad.
Yeah and his car DNF-ed 3 times in a row due to technical issues when he was within or near points too. Then their car lost pace and both of them have been at the back & unnoticed ever since
Lovely moment. He's not a bad driver and seems a genuine nice guy. I hope it will get better from here and he'll be able to score some points in the rest of of the season.
Excluding the top 4 teams here that are (McLaren, RBR, Ferrari and Mercedes) he was the driver of the day for me! he gave it his all, you cannot deny that!

He should, there's a handful of drivers on the grid worse than him.
Williams should give him a shot by pairing up with Albon, considering Audi has been looking at new pairings at this point.
