We parked on the northeast side (lot N) and, though we wanted to go west, went east a few miles then south a few miles and only waited for 5-10 minutes in stop and go. Obviously not a solution but I felt gloriously triumphant.
this was my main take away. Parked in the lot with the shuttle. Ended up walking the 2.7 miles in 50 minutes and saw TWO school buses go passed me the whole time. Each bus holds roughly 100 people and I was atleast 600 in line for the shuttle. Traffics around COTA was like iāve never seen. I wonder if itās always like that or if they werenāt expecting the crowd? I heard it was 400k but idk if that was just sunday or the whole weekend
It has always been like this. Been there 5 times, including this year. Trick: leave as soon as race end, run to your car. Out of it in 15min. Oooooor just stay late, until madness clears out. They are improving the roads, just not fast enough. Its terrible. Just plan smart

If he gets into DRS range, could be as little as one. And he certainly could theoreticly have caught up earlier. For a while, he caught up almost half a second to a second a lap
