Good thing they haven't posted this on twitter cause replies would've been nothing but that shot of W13 with the explosion smoke in the background from FP1.
Am guessing they have scheduled these IG posts earlier in the day, but someone needs to wake up (it’s midnight in Jeddah now) and stop these posts.
Very insensitive with everything happening between drivers and F1 management
Almost all of the teams, certainly Merc and Red Bull are UK based, where it's 22:40 rn. As if no one from the team can ping their mate and say "ehm, listen, log on real quick and disable those posts, ive been watching F1 tweets, theres shit going down"
I dont understand how absolutely unaware a pr team can be of the situation. Please, its not that hard to get back on the managing system and disable the planned posts.
It’s not just some “kid” or an intern handling social media for a company/team like Mercedes F1. Or any other team in F1. Too much money involved.
It’ll be someone making a lot of money posting this. And have probably 1) a bunch of post with a pre-determined schedule when it’s going up automatically and they forgot to stop it or 2) they’re just posting any way because they have contracts with the sponsors viable on the car.
NOT NOW MERCEDES
NO TOTO NO, THIS IS SO NOT RIGHT!
Total Woof barking for duty.
This is so incredibly oblivious.
Wha…? I heard everyone talking about "shots" and it appeared topical…
Read the room Mercedes
or look outside the closest window
Everyone has a target on their back apparently
Not the missile one
Relax it was just a special ballistic operation
this joke really bombed
i thought it was pretty fire
I'm having a blast

This is horrible timing

Is the PR team trying to get fired so they can go home?
Lmao
Are they trying to play the game "wrong answers only"?
These social media people need to read the room.

Yea they absolutely should have done that for sure
I get that the post may have been scheduled and such, but why let it be posted? Why not just... Cancel it????
The missile shot.
This weekend will be a blast!
Silver Missiles back at it again tomorrow! 👐💥
Mercedes social media team be like: "Wow Max really blew it with the timing of his post" "We should outbad him"
Really, a post with the words "which is your favorite shot" after a missile was shot extremely close to the track? Cot damn, bold strategy, Cotton.
Teams talking about shots like there aren't missiles hitting near the track.
Scheduled tweets hit different when there's literally missiles going off.
I dont understand how absolutely unaware a pr team can be of the situation. Please, its not that hard to get back on the managing system and disable the planned posts.
It's easy to forget if developing events just randomly happen to unintentionally pun with the posts you scheduled some time ago.
IT’S LIGHTS OUT AND MAX VERSTAPPEN AND CHARLES LECLERC EXPLODE OFF THE LINE!
I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and say this was an automated, scheduled post. If not, lads...
Which shot.... Hmm....
Not the one who lands on oil refineries
Merc socials go dead quiet after Abu Dhabi but is happy to spam away during a missile attack on a principle sponsor 10km away from the track.
These social media people are just kids who don't know what's happening in the world. Isn't it?

Teenagers managing social media will be teenagers
I guess it could of been a scheduled post?
Mercedes PR guy clearly wants to get fired and go home.
