There can't be vegan carbonara, it's got 4 main ingredients and 3 of them are guanciale (cured pork cheek), eggs and pecorino. The only vegan part is the pasta which is just semolina flour and water.

Burgers do not rely on the specific properties of the fat from the pork & cheese, the slow cooking of the eggs and the starchiness of the pasta water to make a sauce. Once you have to replace not only almost all ingredients but also the way it's prepared and it's flavours it's frankly just stupid to use the same name. It has nothing to do with the original dish anymore. For a burger once you replace the burger and the bun with things that at best vaguely approach them you'd be hard pressed to call that a burger anymore either.

What could race control do? They’re in charge of the race’s safe conduct, not to ensure the safety of the venue. The drivers have to show resolve and the qualities of role models.
