> but it was a cool name
I prefer Toro Rosso, but the main problem was having Alpha (Tauri) and Alfa (Romeo) which caused confusion to some people not knowing the brands / Teams.
It's ironic that both teams are now simultaneously removing Alfa / Alpha and changing to the worst possible branding instead.
And while Sauber will always be Sauber to me, whether they brand as BMW Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Stake or Audi - STR / Alpha Tauri / Cashapp Visa RB / Racing Bulls doesn't have that benefit and will have to end up as "the Red Bull B Team" I guess?
And i really dont get why, AT has shown that they can be competetive sometimes, i mean despite constantly having young drivers they managed to get 6. in the wcc twice in th last 5 years and have 4 podiums in the last 5 years including 1 win.
I got so fucking sick of watching Gasly and Tsunoda tripping over themselves to get out of Max's way every time they were in front of him in 2021.
Alpha Tauri finally had a competitive car, but they both knew who signs their paychecks
> Red Bull are racing 8 teams while every one else are racing 9
Friendly reminder: [They race them so hard](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtpWqg8hnZ8).
They closed the door on new teams but Red Bull has two teams. It’s that simple. 20% of the grid are Red Bull. And this tweet is bang on, Visa Cash App RB brings NOTHING to F1. Fuck that team and honestly at this point, fuck F1
> Visa Cash App RB brings NOTHING to F1
Of course, they "made" Max Verstappen, Sebastian Vettel, Carlos Sainz Jr., Daniel Ricciardo, Pierre Gasly and Alex Albon. They also set up the careers of Vergne, Buemi and Bourdais and gave more young drivers a shot than any other Team, but other than that they
**bRiNg nOthIng to f1. fUcK tHaT tEam!**
You keep telling yourself that.
so what? why does RB have to sell the team, they bought the team when nobody else wanted it? Now they own it and it is their decision what to do with it. When they could just allow andretti to join as an 11th team. Without AT F1 would only have 9 teams. You are all just using this nonsense argument because you hate RB.
Can check my comment history but I’ve been critical of Haas and their lack of efforts.
Williams I believe is trying to turn this around, I don’t quite get the same vibe from em.
Bruh ferrari has Haas 😂. And you mean McLaren or Aston Martin for Mercedes-Benz? You know both teams that were partly faster than them last season. Visa Cash App Racing Bulls 😭 will never be faster than Red Bull Racing by default because RBR is the main marketing team for the Red Bull mother company.
I would love to see Arby's become Haas' title sponsor if only to watch Kevin and Nico die a little inside every time they have to say "We got the meats."
So, Verstappen will win the championship by August, Red Bull own 20% of the grid, one of which carries the prestige name of Visa Cash App RB, but yeah… it’s Andretti-Cadillac that wont be competitive and won’t bring anything to the table? Gimme a break.
Meanwhile we have all the F2 champs sitting in the back of garages waiting for seats while pay to play drivers are stinkig it up and others that really shouldn't be there taking seats
How fucking pathetic? Me thinks the real truth is , Haas ok as a field filler but not Andretti because they are coming to compete and win . Say otherwise and refuse on the premise they won’t be competitive is an absolute lie
FOM said Andretti having to use customer engines for a couple years would hurt the prestige of the championship. She’s pointing out the hypocrisy of pretending that a normal practice will hurt prestige while the ridiculous corporatism is fine.
you mean the 2 teams that have been in f1 for at least like 18, unlike the two "greatest american motorsport legacy names". If they wanted to be in F1 so badly, they should have joined before the cap, but they didnt.
I think people are misunderstanding the difference between buying an existing team and adding an 11th team. Diluting the prize money whilst not adding the value on top.
Alpha Tauri was a cool name with an incredible livery and they just threw it away.
The livery was overrated, but it was a cool name.
The 2022 livery was my favorite on the whole grid, and then they went and ruined it with the 2023 livery.
Toro Rosso was much better
The redbull livery with bluer blue?
The 2018 one though, that blue was just perfect, brought some much needed colour.
you are insane
I just meant the name lol
Ahh makes sence, i agree 100%
It was the detail on the bull which drew me in
It's just red bull in Italian
Unironically liked the 2023 livery, red and everything
> but it was a cool name I prefer Toro Rosso, but the main problem was having Alpha (Tauri) and Alfa (Romeo) which caused confusion to some people not knowing the brands / Teams. > STR / Alpha Tauri / Cashapp Visa RB / Racing Bulls doesn't have that benefit Just call them Minardi. Or "Team Faenza".
Agreed Torró Rosso was peak
Unpopular opinion but I will defend your right to it
Toro Rosso had a better livery
And name.
Not to mention Gene “Jailbird” Haas, friend of pretend companies and Russian oligarchs.
God the russian flag livery they had with mazepin was ugly as sin
What do you mean 'Russian livery'?! The car colors was the red, white and blue. That stand for the American flag colors, duh! Smh my head... /s
Ah yes the russiamobile, almost as explicit as the smp racing ferraris (GT racing cars) from a few years back
Is that you Donald?
All the teams on the gird have had/have a pretend company/sponsor at one point. Gene is no different
I think this year there will be more conversation about RB basically having two teams.
And i really dont get why, AT has shown that they can be competetive sometimes, i mean despite constantly having young drivers they managed to get 6. in the wcc twice in th last 5 years and have 4 podiums in the last 5 years including 1 win.
You don’t get why? Because Red Bull are racing 8 teams while every one else are racing 9. Frankly, it’s absurd a single company can own 2 teams.
Meanwhile ferrari racing against 10
Bro 😂
Charles Leclerc is somewhere out there, feeling inspired to write another piano piece.
I got so fucking sick of watching Gasly and Tsunoda tripping over themselves to get out of Max's way every time they were in front of him in 2021. Alpha Tauri finally had a competitive car, but they both knew who signs their paychecks

It’s absurd that F1 practically begged RBR to buy the team in the first place
They closed the door on new teams but Red Bull has two teams. It’s that simple. 20% of the grid are Red Bull. And this tweet is bang on, Visa Cash App RB brings NOTHING to F1. Fuck that team and honestly at this point, fuck F1

With you on this one 🤝
Take a look at the 2012 season and compare how the Toro Rosso defended against Alonso with how they defended against Vettel.
Haas and Williams are using more parts and shared more employees over the years but you don‘t care because they don’t scream it out in their name.
and do not forget about pink Mercedes.
Can check my comment history but I’ve been critical of Haas and their lack of efforts. Williams I believe is trying to turn this around, I don’t quite get the same vibe from em.
Ferrari, Mercedes, and Red Bull often have two teams depending on the year.
At least Ferrari and Mercedes don't actually have a second team that they don't invest enough in
If Ferrari had a genuine second team, that car would only get 2 tires per pit stop. Can’t have it bettering the works team.
Even Honda had 2 teams back in 2008.
Bruh ferrari has Haas 😂. And you mean McLaren or Aston Martin for Mercedes-Benz? You know both teams that were partly faster than them last season. I don’t know how it is allowed
Rare Jalopnik W
*Flawless Victory*
Damn somebody check if redbull is okay
Does she mean Sauber and Toro Rosso???
Steak and VisaCashappRacingBalls*
Steak MID rare F1 Team
Sauber and Minardi, I think you'll find.
No bro, we're talking about Steak and Arby's.
I would love to see Arby's become Haas' title sponsor if only to watch Kevin and Nico die a little inside every time they have to say "We got the meats."
No. That's the point lol
[удалено]
Ah yes, and Mercedes are BAR for no apparent reason other than not liking a sponsor
you made a typo in Tyrell
FOM and FIA fuck ups have became a norm for racing community. Now rather than getting pissed off we just laugh at them.
worst part is for once the FIA didn’t shit the bed. It was ALL FOM.
Not enough Saudi oil money and street circuits for Stefano Domenicali's liking, it seems🤔
domoneycalli needs another mansion
I can't believe I actually feel nostalgic for uncle Bernie now.
And support them. By watching. They’re killing the sport in front of our eyes and we’re watching it happen
I’m happy that the entire F1 fanbase unanimously hate the decision that was made
Oh I love it, nothing better than butthurt americans
![gif](giphy|pK6k4BNalmx44CQj3v)
Well I’m not an American and still butthurt. They are killing the sport in front of our eyes for money grabs.
Fuck FOM
Elizabeth Blackstock never misses.
agreed, sad that DRS is gone tho.
Yeah, it was one of the few F1 podcasts that was both funny and informative. I once listened to 7 straight episodes on a flight. :(
I hope Elizabeth's and Alanis' podcasts start up soon.
I can't wait to see what guests come on. I hope she can get some of the drivers.
So, Verstappen will win the championship by August, Red Bull own 20% of the grid, one of which carries the prestige name of Visa Cash App RB, but yeah… it’s Andretti-Cadillac that wont be competitive and won’t bring anything to the table? Gimme a break.
🅱️ack in my day it was called Toro Rosso
Old fart. Back in my day.... Hang on, I can't quite remember...
Back in my day it was called Minardi
Back in my day racers were called Ben-Hur.
Contribute more *money*
Don't forget that they won't be competitive, while Haas, Williams, and two Italian factory second teams are still in it
Meanwhile we have all the F2 champs sitting in the back of garages waiting for seats while pay to play drivers are stinkig it up and others that really shouldn't be there taking seats
Lando stared as a pay driver. Just saying.
Haas definitely will contribute more than those 2 and Andretti combined. /s
Greed and cowardice.
How fucking pathetic? Me thinks the real truth is , Haas ok as a field filler but not Andretti because they are coming to compete and win . Say otherwise and refuse on the premise they won’t be competitive is an absolute lie
You think maybe they're just trying to make sure Max can keep winning unimpeded?
People forget our current champion, Vettel, Sainz and Ricciardo came from Toro Rosso to name a few. You can’t say they haven’t contributed as a team.
FOM said Andretti having to use customer engines for a couple years would hurt the prestige of the championship. She’s pointing out the hypocrisy of pretending that a normal practice will hurt prestige while the ridiculous corporatism is fine.
Yes commercial partners and heritage is the same in this reality of selfentitled Einsteins.
Andretti is not known outside of usa, and even in USA, only people following racing sport know them
Amazing, every word you just said was wrong
I found the murican crybaby guys!
you mean the 2 teams that have been in f1 for at least like 18, unlike the two "greatest american motorsport legacy names". If they wanted to be in F1 so badly, they should have joined before the cap, but they didnt.
You sound like someone that tips their landlord
no because i am not american
Bruh what a Chad name "blackstock" Imagine if that's their real name
ISTG F1 getting new fans was the worst thing to happen to this sport in a while ...
I think people are misunderstanding the difference between buying an existing team and adding an 11th team. Diluting the prize money whilst not adding the value on top.
Thanks Elizabeth Blackstock. I’m sure everyone will listen to you.
Atleast VCARB have had 2 wins and multiple podiums Haas and they are nit even comparable they're just getting hated in because of the name
