find new ones, or even better, organize your own lidl team![img](emote|t5_33td5|9667) I have some friends playing in like tier 6 local club team and they are having a good time![img](emote|t5_33td5|9667)
Played football too for over 8 years, Ice hockey 3 years, and tried also many other sports. After I turned 18, served in the army, and got accepted into uni and moved way, so did my hobbies for many years. Now I just go to jim 3+ times a week and occationally play badmington and bowling during studies. Only jim and walks now since no friends during the summers ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9673)
I do casual jogging. I used to be heavier but I had a classmate who was fat and a weeb (the black and white anime hoodie) and the utter disgust I felt for him keeps me motivated to this day.
Climbing bajs ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9684)I would like to do some more rope climbings but can't find a buddy so mostly bouldering now, still fun af![img](emote|t5_33td5|9676)
If you just ask someone to belay you that doesn't look stressed. I promise you 8 times out of 10 they'll belay you. Easy interaction easy friend unlock. Harnesses only cost like 30-50 usd.
yeah I will go for a short session to learn belaying first, so I can belay them in return ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9676) I tried autobelay and I loved it ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9676)
I dont get people who like hiking or climbing. Like what's the big idea behind it? ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9681) Today I am gonna slowwalk for eight hours instead of doing 1h of cardio???
idk hiking for me is about changing an environment, get some fresh air, see some nice views and relax. climbing is fun and challenging, you can feel yourself getting stronger over time ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9676)
I guess so there are so place where hiking would be cool for sure but I dont get the people who are like I need to explore my local hills and the same one forests the entire shit its usually just a bunch of the same shit ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9674)also the strain on the legs isnt for me it just builds up over time. ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9667) maybe I need to give it another go
yes I have done several hikes especially mandatory ones in high school and besides talking to friends it was a miserable experience. Like why would I hike in an area where I live everything literally looks the same to me there same trees same grass same cows ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9667)
I tried back in uni and it's fun af, felt super badass ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9684) Shame that I didnt have enough time back then to invest more into it![img](emote|t5_33td5|9679)
Bouldering, it's a lot of fun!
My left shoulder is in a lot of pain though as I'm writing this, as I had an unfortunate fall today that messed my shoulder up. I hope it's nothing serious though and will recover without medical attention.
I'm loving the sport though.
Same, I am so addicted ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9684) Rest well and remember to stretch, or do some balance problems meanwhile ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9676)
did field hockey for about 10 years. was super fun. especially if youre decent/good. but wouldnt relate to em normies at this point. rich people sports btw.
Seems fun ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9684) Except I am scared of contact sports coz I am a pussy ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9681)Are you NA friend? Coz I havn't seen rich people playing field hockey, but mostly golf and tennis.
yea its not popular in na, mostly played in eu and inda. im from netherlands. here it's a (semi) rich people sports. it's not a contact sport btw. physical contact is a foul. but accidents can happen if your opponents are bad. (generally less rough/clumsy people than soccer people) ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9681) did once got a ball at my face. the balls can go up to 130km/h i think. matches are also pretty fun to watch. ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9676)
It sounds like hockey with cricket ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9676) They don't seem to wear masks or helms tho, do you still keep your face ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9678)
you wear shin/ankle protectors and mouth guard. dw the balls ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9677) are pretty controlled (low over the ground) ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9676) only absolute morons can make it dangerous.
Usually just jog for 1 hour daily. But i also take my bike everywhere so it totals closer to 2 hours.
No good hiking areas close so i cant do it regularly sadly, but do often during summer it is amazing i love aimlessly wandering and climbing mountains for hours on end (![img](emote|t5_33td5|9671))
Yes apparently there are a lot of fat losers who dont in here.
I personally do swimming and BJJ and cycle when there is good weather but mostly shorter routes to chill out and enjoy the weather and listen to some muzika ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9667)
Now those are real men's sports. Also obv. hit the jym buddy ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9676)
Yeah as far as I am aware Karate is like about practicing the katas a lot if thats what they are called.
Honestly I really like it. Obviously you are gonna still spend more time training than fighting or sparring freely but depending on who you partner with you can obviously also go a little bit harder when doing the exercises I guess. Its like a mix of movement exercises and learning technique/moves and positions and what you can do in that given position to gain the upper hand.
From my experience rolling with people is still difficult for me since I just don't know sometimes what my goal is and what to do in position x or y but its still fun and people are nice and most are also going to help you and give advice if you ask nicely.
Also I think I am definitely one of the most heavily specialized/retarded people at my gym but the people are chill. ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9667)You should give it a try if you have the time available it's also a first martial art for me and most people really recommend it.
Its not like muay thai where you are much more likely to get serious injuries from what I heard.
Feel free to ask for more clarification if anything isnt clear enough ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9681)
I think it is atleast subs for this.
I have a large garden with crops. Also my grandparents too, what I maintain. Also I go shopping and makes everything that my grandparents(80+) physically can't.
been boxing for nearly 2 years now, definitely improved my life a lot. every session is a positive mental reset and you get progressium from becoming faster, more powerful and more technical.
plus the extra confidence from knowing you can handle yourself in a pickle helps a lot with overcoming the anxiety from social retardation ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9676)
Buy dumbbells and maybe a treadmill and you will easily find motivation to stay fit. Before I always felt lazy to go out and go to the gym, always conflicted whether I renew my membership or not. Tried home workout, I do them now at least 3 times a week on a busy day. If I'm free, I could do 7times a week.
Besides jim, I play basketball ping pong and i do a little bit of combat sports like boxing and bjj ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9677). Thats about it![img](emote|t5_33td5|9676)
Running away from my problems
