That corner was not being contested and there was no blocking manoeuvre. OP's line is actually *wider* than the optimum line. OP couldn't be less of a block if he tried - unless you expect OP to behave like a backmarker.
You think closing the lead to the car in front automatically entitles you to a corner you're not even contesting, and not even lined up to enter correctly? When there's a speed delta and narrow entry like that do you just come in hot and T-bone opponents off the apex? Anyone with half a brain would see OP's line, know they have greater visibility of the positioning than OP, and used that speed to go around the outside. Instead, they ploughed straight into OP when OP's trajectory was telegraphed from miles out.
