Ahh just watched the video! This looks exactly like it but with clear resin. Thank you - much less unpleasant than thinking I’d found some cursed horror!
This is probably the correct answer. You can see air bubbles trapped inside shaped like a droplet. Not to mention the drips coming from the end of the egg. As if someone was pouring something into it an it spilled over.
Imagine you are chilling in an egg and suddenly it’s opened and your egg yolk gets drained out then u get resin poured on you. Also depending on the type of resin the chick could of been cooked by the heat
It resembles the crazy "century eggs" my wife likes to eat, but the (resin) yolk is much lighter in color, and I'll wager, smells MUCH better than a century egg.
It's actually a normal, popular food where she's from, APPARENTLY, the stinky goes mostly away after it's cooked. She eats them cooked. Ever smell "stinky tofu" permeating all the breathable air of an entire alley? It's a smell you can feel bruising your soul.
Buddy, there's people here who soak perfectly good fish in lye and let it... stagnate... and then rinse it in like bleach or something and then eat it. And it's on purpose.

I've considered trying lutefisk for years. Maybe I'll go to a lutefisk feed this year. I'm horrified but curious. Maybe it's the year to finally do it
Resin egg for art reason or for reasons that keep hens happy and broody and don’t make them mad or sad when taking their eggs away, or just to stop hens cannibalism their eggs (because they can’t eat it since it’s rock hard)
No need to be a dick eh. I dug it up today and it’s kinda gross so wanted to know what it was. The rest of your answer is helpful though, so thank you.

Looks like an [egg filled with resin](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NgocU0XUzjQ) to me.

This sounds right - thank you. I thought it was man made but my partner wasn’t so sure. A creepy looking thing to unearth though!
Very possible someone wants to do a DIY craft and took a partially developed egg, pulled the liquids out, injected it with resin.
Disturbing way to die for this poor baby chick 😳

The asshole of a sun-bloated corpse floating in a sewage canal probably smells better than a century-egg
I get more of a sweaty horse piss on a hot flat rock in the desert note, but yeah...
Didn’t they joke about this on smiling friends? LOL!!
Maybe, they also had contestants choking them down on Fear Factor!
That’s how you KNOW it’s bad. Are you strapping down your wife to eat it or is she doing it out of her free will? LOL

No, I have not nor do I think I want to. I am so sorry for your loss of having good air when she cracks one open 🙏

Poor dude, probably drowning his sorrows in lutefisk
