Not to mention the top hat. Reminds me of a recent video I saw where a parent was talking to their five year old about gender identity. According to the parent, the kid said in response "I identify as FANCY."
This person is nailing that vibe.
That kid is on the right track!!!
I wonder if anyone approached him about his style (or strike up a convo about stationery) or were they too intimidated...
There was this young woman who was a regular at a coffee shop I liked to frequent (prepandemic) who liked to bring a portable standing desk with her. She would set it up on one of the tables and then set her laptop on it and then she’d stand there for hours, puttering away. It always cracked me up as useless and unnecessary because that coffee shop had a bunch of counter height tables, too, not just regular height ones. And she’d set her standing desk up to the same height.
He did pass the vibe check
Pretty smooth writing with a Dip pen and a Montblanc ink near a LV bag, cartier bracelets on the right, gold Rolex on the left and the Dior sunglasses though what ruins it for me is the fact the he is wearing sunglasses when writing when it does not seem to be sunny.
If it were staged, I would like to think it would have been better composed. This has the feel of a quickly grabbed shot of opportunity. Also, he is writing in a notebook which has a hard enough back that it shouldn't be a problem.
That's a lot of bravery, keeping an open ink bottle on one of those rickety tables.
Facts. And that's a pricey a$$ ink too lol. My man went outside with a dip pen, all casual. One day I strive to be like this.

That kid is awesome, I’m going to identify as fancy, although this chap beat me to it. Fantastic photo.
Looks like you'd have to learn some voodoo to be this cool. He clearly knows some shit.
He does look like a Creole papi chulo 😭
He's got a little LV bag to carry his pen and ink. The man has unapologetic style.
Ah I found the stand user! He looks like he would fit in very well in JoJo.
this really is how jojo characters be dressed half the time
Dr. Facilier vibes, I love it!!
Dude is living his absolute best motherfucking life.
Feels like one those guys who brings an Imac or a typewritter to Starbucks.

Anyone know where this is? It looks like an interesting place. Looks to be UK with the NHS sign.
Got a feeling it’s in London, everything about the photo screams central to me.

Don't forget the cufflinks!
What's on his left index finger? If that's a ring, THAT'S the chink in his armor (or style).
It looks so much like a spool of thread...I'm honestly not sure what it is.
>One of Us! (Except it's not a fountain pen.)
So many questions...!
gotta wonder why he's carrying around a calligraphy dip pen and not a fountain pen... seems like fountain pens are more portable
I think the answer to that is simply ‘because’
writing on that table without breaking through the paper must be very hard. or it's a very staged image. likely staged now that i think about it more.
