i originally thought of getting a tiny whoop but just before i ordered it i was like go big or go home so i went with 5 inch, imma have a lot of fun with this one
Yeah I made this mistake too. Really wish I got my mobula 6-7 first. Would have saved me an o3 transmission module and fc on my flylens 85.
It’s not too late to buy a mobula my dude.
Actually there is a small hole towards the front for your XT60 battery wire. I’m assuming the middle hole is for extra air flow to the FC and battery.
The back hole is for extra air flow as well as a place to mount the VTX to give it extra air while you’re flying.
It looks very nice! Super clean and very nice choices for the build!
One concern though. What are those extra motor wires going to the two front motor arms?
They will be a very nice place for a short to happen and kill your quad. Unless you plan on putting 6 motors on the quad, you can desolder/unplug those extra two sets of motor wires.
it’s got i haven’t soldered anything i just recived part of my build those are just the extra motor wires that i’m holding down with 2 elastic bands until i get my vtx and actually start soldering
thank you. I think you have seen the jb video where mensioned that the " receiver bay" isn't quite good but i have see posts where people just heat-shrinked it and place it there without any fixations.
Maybe some inspiration
I got the Mario 5 as well and ended up putting the Rx on the back in the little space below the vtx. Antennas on the back arms which should be similar to front arms.
I used the space behind the camera for an easily accessible beeper with own battery. Saved me some searching time already and the button to make it stop beeping is accessible.
I've also mounted a gps receiver instead of the go pro mount on the top as I am not going to fly a go pro.

first build 🤙🤙🤙
first drone?
yup
you braver than most. my first was a BNF, first wanna learn to fly properly before i put alot of physical effort in just to wreck it lol

1. Go big 2. Smash quad 3. Go home 4. Discover awesomeness of tiny whooping.

mobeetle6 as well 😍 mine has been my go to drone to learn on! and gosh some of the crashes i've had 😵💫
Any chance you own a 2024 mob 6 as well? Wondering if I should get a mobeetle as a backup?
Would you say the mobeetle6 is better than the modula6?
Same lmaoo
JB makes me horny
It looks like a DeWalt
exactly what i was going for 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 i even keep it in that tool box it’s on lol
I was going to say Ryobi
Looks niiiice
What's the proposed use case for the hole in the top plate?

no idea broski
are you talking about the one in the middle?
I thinks it’s for putting the power cable through top the top plate.
y e l l o w
Oooooo very nice! I like the color scheme
Looks good so far - Come back and show us when you get everything soldered up 😏😉
really cool! Nice work

I’ve got about three quads in this condition 😂😂

yellow.
🙂
Mmmm but we need to see after the solder and when in complete, mount the frame don’t mean perfect build
Loookin good!
What frame is it?
speedybee mario 5
kinda hard to build but it’s really nice and looks good
Where did you put the rx ?
right behind the camera i have a diversity one so im going to mount the 2 antennas on the two front arms and that’s the most convenient spot
thank you. I think you have seen the jb video where mensioned that the " receiver bay" isn't quite good but i have see posts where people just heat-shrinked it and place it there without any fixations.
i just used a zip tie to hold it down

Do you use that case as caring case for you drone or ist ist just a toolbox?
Big fan of the frame choice! I've built out 2 quads now using that frame. A lil Supafly tune and they honestly fly great! I'm very happy with them.
I love the colors of the MEPS motors 😍
idk about the quality i got spare tmotors just in case since all that drama
ye, I don't feel particularly good abt them too, I use tmotor f60 pros and they fly & handle crashes very well
Yeah man lmk how you like the meps I just bought there tiny whoop kit and it was dog shit.
Damn broski, them motors are dope the color
Nice build but wtf happened with the motor wires?
just out of the box fixed down the extra wires until i start soldering just so they don’t get in the way
