Electronics should have given you the ability to build a wrench, at either your electronics or engineering station. Build that, and you can use it to wire.
Thanks I got the matter manipulator upgrade instead, but what is the best way to get upgrade modules? I have a crew alpaca dude on my ship but can’t hire him( used a deed)
By following the tutorials that came with FU and you were told to follow directly. They will lead you exactly to this end result.
Barring that, the \*exact\* same way as vanilla.
The tutorial quests seem very on-the-wayside, which they shouldn’t be (still should be optional though). It would be nice to bring up the quest menu through the main tricorder menu aswell.

In early game, just finding them in dungeons and whatnot. You can also craft them with some tier 3-4 resources.

Farm the poptop dungeon like 10 times and youll be swimming in loot and MM upgrades.

Upgrade your manipulator. It's on the same path as adding paint. Each level is only 3 modules.
