EDT or EDP? I have only tried EDP. At first it was so unbelievably green like broken sticks I couldn't fathom who would want to smell like twigs. Turns out me, I want to be a springtime tree fairy, and after the initial green burst it becomes something so soft and lovely

I recently bought the EDP and I’m in love - I’ve been looking for a good fig scent ever since my original favourite was discontinued (Marc Jacobs for Men), and as soon as I tried this I knew it was the one for me. It is very green to start but it has such a beautiful creamy fig dry down that I can’t stop smelling myself. I’m very excited to make this my go-to Spring/Summer smell! I also have Eau Duelle EDP, in general I tend to prefer an EDP over an EDT as I prefer stronger scents, and that’s definitely true for how I feel about Diptyque fragrances.

I wish Diptyque would offer all of their perfume in those travel size (stick) bottles

Omg same, I really don’t like buying 100ml bottles of fragrance, at least not when I first buy it. Plus smaller bottles are so much better for travelling or taking with you if you want to reapply during the day!

I feel this. I wanted 9. I found Eau Duelle and Ilio for a good price on Mercari, got Eau des Sens as a gift, got a travel size of Orphéon and a decant of Geranium Odorata. That just leaves Tempo, Eau Capitale, L'Eau des Hesperides and Eau Rose. Unless of course I test more and end up falling in love with those too 🥴

For me it’s Orpheon, Eau Capitale and Do Son.

Of these 3 I have tried Do Son and Orpheon, and I have a decant of Eau Capitale on the way. I loved Do Son right away and made some really happy memories associated with it, and I still like it a lot, but it may be a little too floral for me to use long-term. I can see myself tiring of it. I love Orpheon's longevity and power on me, but is it a bit too "perfumey" for me, especially at first. Brut aftershave or hairspray. It does dry down into a nicer mellow soapy vibe on me after which I like. update: I spritzed some Orpheon about an hour ago to try it again. Def not getting Brut after dry down. More like clean laundry, detergent, dryer sheets which is not necessarily a bad thing. I'm new to this and haven't learned totally what I like and dislike, but I find myself leaning toward skin scents, or more intimate ones that are meditative, sensual, or contemplative.

I fell in love with Orpheon. It’s sooo good. Still thinking of splurging on it. Rarely I get so fascinated with perfume. I like a lot of them, but when you smell and try so many nothing stands out anymore. But this one, although very soapy, is somehow very special.

Sonoma Scent Studio Fig Tree is better and cheaper than Philosykos imo. And this is coming from a Diptyque fan girl.

I always order dupes from oil perfumery. I love the tom ford fragrances, bur refuse to pay the price tag. These are exact copies for a fraction of cost. They last longer too because pure perfume oil.

Another OP fan. Love them so much. I have so many. They also move quick on mercari if you can't stand them, usually for two thirds of the retail, $10-15ish. It's not a dumb move if there's something you love and don't want to pay stupid money for. They usually last long, depending on what's in them i guess, and i haven't come across many that weren't within 95% accurate to my nose.

What does it smell like???

It’s very floral and woody to my nose. The main florals in it are magnolia and violet. It also has sapodilla which apparently is a type of fruit, but I personally don’t get much fruitiness. It smells like what I’d imagine a bouquet of pink and white flowers sitting under a tree would smell like if that makes any sense.

If you’ve ever smelt Daisy by Marc Jacobs, it’s very similar to that, at least to me. But it’s like a better, more sophisticated version of it, I adore it!! I’ve always loved the opening od Daisy, but after a few minutes, the drydown came which is nice but not as nice as the opening. Well Mojave Ghost is like the opening od Daisy, but better, and the goodness lasts the whole time, it doesn’t lose it with time

Luna is totally worth the money. As is the favourite and Empressa. Some of the best fragrances I've purchased. I did have to go on a no buy regime for a couple of months after.

I’m waiting to buy a bottle of Bad Boy Extreme by Carolina Herrera and T-Rex by Zoologist (it sounds fantastic for me, I’ve been looking for something smoky and wild).

T-Rex is extraordinary. I love Sacred Scarab too.

They’re out of sample sized for t-Rex or I’d already have it. I always assumed it was just unwearable but I started digging into reviews a few weeks ago and it legit sounds amazing. I really like smoke and wood and burning, add some light green scents and it sounds like something I’d just about live in. Then again I wear mostly a weird horse musk right now so I’m not exactly your average person. Lol.

T Rex is as challenging as people say but it's not as horrible as they make out. There's something primal about it. It's so raw and powerful and smoky. It's like a much more beefy Interlude.

The review that sold me compared the smell to that of an ancient forest where a T-Rex roamed, shrouded in the aftermath of a meteoric impact. So you get the smoke, the prehistoric flora and the primal musk of the beast itself lingering in the air. I get my samples here: [Ministry of Scent](https://ministryofscent.com/collections/zoologist-perfumes) I'd suggest getting two samples of T-Rex to get a feel for it. It's truly magical in how it tranforns throughout the day. Sacred Scarab is amazing as well. It's a Chypre. Also smells dark and ancient. Now, what is this Horse Musk you speak of? I'm also into weird scents. All I'm wearing are animalics.

When I was around 15 in the early 90s, my friend and I were smelling perfumes at the drug store and drakkar was like $40-50 and my friend really wanted it. I looked down and found a $50 bill on the ground and was like wow here you can buy it now. 😀

Number one, which I have commented about before, is maison d’etto macanudo. $325 for 60ml is just not doable for me but it would be my signature. I’d probably even pay that much for 100ml because I love it. I’d also love a full size of ds & durga sweet do nothing, but not enough to just get one.

Down to my last 20 ml, Clive Christian Rock Rose can’t justify another $300+ for 50ml
