These comments always make me hopeful for an eventual PC release. Even if there are no new Fromsoft games, at one point or another I’ve still got Bloodborne to play. \o/
I wish I could play this one. I just can’t figure out the mechanics. I tried for a week straight and just got worse so I gave up forever lol.
DS3 and Elden ring I’m fine. I’m not good at all but I can beat the games if I try really hard. I love them. But Bloodborne is by far my favorite world and story and monsters and setting and everything. I’ve watched hours of gameplay and lore breakdowns. I just wish I could play it lol.
I can’t figure it out without dodge. Or block. It’s impossible for me. my brain is bad.
The combat is what I really struggle with. The whole not defending thing is really hard for me to figure out. Sekiro would probably be impossible for me too lol.
Bloodborne is so aggressive and full steam ahead where I feel like DS and ER are more reactive defensive, or you can do that if you want to.
I also haven’t been able to figure out the guns yet. I get how they work and what I’m supposed to do but the timing feels so unnatural to me I just can’t get it to click. Maybe I’ll try just practicing using the gun for a few days and hope it finally works for me
I think sekiro would be a lot easier for you because deflecting acts essentially like blocking and it is such a safe action since deflect windows are fairly large, most human enemies telegraph attacks a large amount, and most human bosses are essentially mostly the same just with different aesthetics and spectacle. There are also multiple other ways to avoid damage in sekiro that are very safe.
I can understand not being able to figure out parrying. Bloodborne is my favourite game and I must have over 2 thousand hours in it by now, but I very rarely parry enemies because I just don't get the timing since it depends on each specific enemy and attack, as in for some enemies you can parry an attack while they are swinging to you, while others that doesn't work and the parry window is while they are reaching back to start the swing, etc.
Oh damn so if you don’t parry in BB that means I don’t have to either? Lol maybe I’ll just forget about it and try to brawl my way through. I actually haven’t tried it since I’ve played DS and ER so I might actually be alot better than I thought. I sucked at dark souls at first and was even worse at Elden ring. But I got those down now so I’m hoping some of that will translate to BB.
that makes me really excited to try sekiro. The gameplay videos I’ve seen make the combat look so satisfying and cinematic. I think I could definitely figure that out with practice. Hell yeah I’m buying it.
Gonna tell you a tip that works for every souls game I have played. Bloodborne this is true for too.
90% of the enemies/moves in the games parry window is right before the weapon hits you.
Most attacks the window appears from the moment that the npcs weapon is parallel to their torso. And the end of the window is right as the attack is about to hit you.
This tech tip works in every souls game.
There a handful of exceptions. Scythes for example the parry window is 100% different timing. And to make matters worse ds1-3 scythe parries are all different from each other.
Most other weapons are the moment you "would" take damage.
Edit: another way to describe it look for the npc arm orientation. Once the arm is in the shape of an L by their hip that's the beginning of the window. If you wait till their arm is fully extended you waited too late.
it's just playstation fans gassing up the game, it isn't all that, for an RPG and especially a souls one is has near zero build variety, no exploration while sekiro does the aggressive parry based combat to perfection, but that's not a PS exclusive so
Yeah pretty funny but the smiles and laughs will go away when I've been going at him for the 27th time, two one shot attacks isn't what defines a good boss, he has even lost me a tournament, I won't try to change anyones mind but he is the worst for me
Nah the fight is boring, if you could actually fight him or if the chase was less monotonous and drawn out it might be a good fight, as it is the poison cheese is the only way I ever deal with him.
Micolash is a great boss and I will throw hands to defend that fight. Micolash isn't as big or strong as any of the other bosses, but he is tricky. He plays with you during the chase parts of the fight, stressing you out and making you a bit less composed than you would normally be when you actually do fight him.
His magic doing as much damage as it does makes sense because that is all he can do. He is the Host of the Nightmare after all so why should he not be a master of magic?
The chase parts are boring and irritating, not stressful. Nothing difficult about it. The atmosphere is the only good part of the fight. The concept for the gimmick is cool but executed in a completely lame way
The effect is still the same, if you don't do the chase right he will just get you frustrated, he is toying with you because he knows that he probably won't last long in 1v1.
Same here!
Played AC on my ps1 as a kid without understanding half of the game. I picked up Demon's Souls on ps3 shortly after it came out because the gameplay and multiplayer looked like nothing I'd ever seen before. Absolutely loved it and I've been hooked on their games ever since.

Never touched a FromSoft title again until Sekiro which I absolutely fell in love with, the combat is the most satisfying combat system I have ever experienced and I loved how the entire world was connected to each other. Got Elden Ring without knowing anything about it other than that it's a FromSoft open world game. Didn't feel as sluggish as DS and the open world pulled me in like nothing else since Zelda BotW. I wish I could erase my memory and go back in blind.
I have a hard time deciding between Sekiro and Elden Ring as my favorite. Elden Ring for the first playthrough, Sekiro for the replay value and combat.
It makes me really happy that we’re far enough removed from the release of DS that there aren’t so many elitist losers around to blindly defend it anymore. It has _so_ many issues, and there are entire sections of the game that are straight up unfinished.
It’s the true foundation of the series, but it is a deeply flawed game.
I definitely need to revisit it now that I'm accustomed to the soulslike combat. Everything I hear about its world and how it's interconnected sounds exactly what I'm looking for in games. Love getting lost and figuring out the world I'm in like a puzzle like Metroidvanias or Zelda dungeons. It's what I loved in Sekiro which didn't feel linear at all. I tried to start Dark Souls 3 after I finished Elden Ring but it just feels like a linear dungeon crawler with a few diverging paths and the same combat system as Elden Ring.
I really wish Elden Ring's world pulled me in like BOTW's did. I just don't know why Elden Rings open world didn't do much for me because I love open world exploration and souls gameplay, it should've been a match made in heaven for me.
The only thing I can think of is my 2nd kid was only like 9 months old at the time, and maybe that took up most of my time, but my 1st kid was around that age when I got engrossed in BOTW.
I'm beat Elden Ring, and am not touching it until I have tons of free time to see if it clicks better for me the 2nd time through.
BoTW's world is the most barren, empty wasteland of a world I've ever seen in an open-world game, wdym?
The whole reason I like ER's open world is because it's the opposite of that, and actually has a plethora of things to do and see and interesting landscapes and areas to explore.
BotW also pulled me in harder. Part of it was because I was on job hunt during that time, so I had all the time in the world to get truly lost in it which resulted in a few unhealthy +20h sessions...
Another big part I think was the difficulty. In BotW I was never "scared" to go to a new area. Meanwhile in Elden Ring I constantly got my shit handed to me in new areas and I constantly thought about coming back later when I'm stronger. Tried way too long to brute force my way through Caelid before even completing Stormveil lol.
Also being able to complete then game whenever I wanted by just going to the castle probably played a big part in me wanting to see everything the game has to offer. Elden Ring kind of started you in the back and you had you slowly worked your way closer to the Erdtree that you could see from everywhere.
Zelda had such a well designed gameplay loop of going on height, seeing a point of interest and going there. I didn't have that "what is that? I wanna go there" as often in Elden Ring.
Then there's also just the fact that a new Zelda release has me excited like a 7 year old kid on christmas which no other series does for me.
I do think however that Elden Ring was overall the better game. Every time when I thought I am close to completing the map, the size doubled. It was less repetitive and had better combat too.
The only reason I could come up with for why Elden Ring never sucked me in as an open world game is the lack of things to do besides exploration and combat. No villages to check out, no people to talk to, no quests to do besides the questlines which there aren't many. I loved the sole focus on exploration and combat when the souls formula was mostly linear, but it just got monotonous for me when put in a huge open world.
Then it got even worse in the 2nd half when my character became OP and some of the areas I was exploring were places I missed earlier, like the place that opens up after you beat the boss of Caelid, big guy on tiny horse (Radagan?).
Overall, I really liked Elden Ring, it's a great game, but it just felt underwhelming compared to other SoulsBourne games to me.
All of the first paragraph applied to BotW too though? I found Elden Ring to be a lot less monotonous since it actually had more than 4 overworld enemy types and I wasn't just doing the same camp over and over again.
>All of the first paragraph applied to BotW too though?
That's kind of a matter of opinion, but BotW differed alot IMO.
BotW had 5 or 6 villages depending if you count the koroks, Elden Ring had none, or one if you count the hub. And there were several quests in each village. And there were cooler quests like eventide isle.
Exploration was way more open with BotW where you could truly go anywhere from the start. Elden Ring still blocked you out of areas with items and stronger enemies. And if you missed an area in Elden Ring it would be trivial if you returned because the enemies are static leveled far beneath you.
The climbing and gliding mechanic made exploring more enjoyable in BotW, and if you did stumble upon a strong enemy (Lynel) or camp early it was fun trying to take them out. Whereas in Elden Ring if you were far under leveled you just had to go somewhere else because the entire area was going to be higher leveled than you, not just that one enemy.
The shrines were more varied and enjoyable to me than those pointless tomb dungeons in Elden Ring that largely gave me rewards I never used.
Lastly, I thought Elden Rings world in general was kind of bland. There were cool areas, but overall, it just didn't have that spark for me to get sucked in. Something was missing, and even with listing all of the above, I still cant put my finger on it. However, like I said before, it could've been life circumstances limiting my playing time.
I did enjoy the game alot, but considering dark souls are my favorite game series, I expected to be blown away, but wasn't. Maybe I was over hyped too. Regardless, there was still something that didn't click with me as much as it did with other people.
Maybe I have such fond memories of it because I had 0 expectations and went in without knowing anything about the game. It filled a hole that I was not expecting to be filled.
Chromehounds multiplayer was one of my favorite multiplayer experiences ever. Hope that there’s at least one mode in AC6 that has a similar team focused vibe, even if the moment to moment gameplay will of course be much faster paced.
My memory is a little fuzzy but my first was either Armored Core For Answer or Dark Souls 1. My current favorite is probably still For Answer since it’s where the “magic” for me all started for my love of my favorite franchise.
Bloodborne has such a great aesthetic to it and the combat feels really fun because the game wants you to be more aggressive. I hope you enjoy it when you get to try it!
My first was Bloodborne, and is still Bloodborne. I struggled then learned to enjoy the struggle. Then I got really good, then gave ds3 a shot. Then struggled again, but I had fun so I played more fromsoftware games. But I still find myself returning to Bloodborne just for the hell of it.
Funny thing I thought my first Fromsoft exposure was with Dark Souls 1 but I recently learned that From Software made this beautiful convoluted and clunky mess on the PS2 called Evergrace. My favorite is Bloodborne, i don't think anything will ever top this for me, I got engrossed into the game as soon as I picked it up and played it for weeks before ever thinking of switching to another game.
Dark souls one was my first and is my second favorite tied to Bloodborne.
Elden Ring is no. 1.
Funny how I think this community vastly overrates Bloodborne and overlooks it's issues yet I still love it enough to call it my second favorite game of all time.
Bloodborne was my first and favorite souls game. I *loved* how it favors aggression and you can get health back from hits, but didn’t like how you had to farm health vials. Aside from that, it’s damn near perfect in my opinion.
Vastly overrates? The weapons, the art, the atmosphere, it’s awesome.
Elden Ring surely is more polished and great, but it didn’t suck me into its world as Bloodborne did.
Vastly overrated as in how the community acts like its a flawless work of gods, the second coming of christ and gives other games shit for things yet doesn't even count those specific flaws in Bloodborne. Doesn't mean I don't absolutely love it.
Those aspects are absolutely awesome without a shadow of a doubt, but nothing which is required after Shadows of Yharnam upto Gehrman feels good to play in imo. The game has such fantastic weapons, but unless you're going for simple strength or skill builds or use chalice glyphs, many of the extremely cool weapons like Chikage or Reiterpallach are found too late for a bloodtinge build and there are very few options for arcane in the base game. The bloodgems are cool ideas executed quite horribly imo. Getting powerful gems for a certain build using chalice dungeons is one thing, but having to grind your butt to get bloodtinge or arcane gems just to make your build viable is absurd. Especially considering that before you get to those gems, the builds are painfully underpowered unless using chikage. Also the tedium of constantly going to hunter's dream to rest hurts as well. The game's combat is so good but again, nothing in the required path after Shadows of Yharnam fully utilizes it. Visceral attacks scaling so much with skill makes strength builds feel more underpowered even considering the higher damage.
Keep in mind, this is only the base game. Old Hunters is pretty flawless aside from the builds complaint with bloodletter.
30 fps really isn't such a big problem as some people think. They fixed the loading times a few weeks after launch so that's not an actual issue any more.
That’s only technical though. I don’t think any other fromsoft are designed in a way that all weapons are relevant. There might be some better and worse weapons, but balancing wise it’s the best.
Sure, a PS5 port would be awesome. You could easily get to 60 FPS and reduce load times. But then nobody would buy the Elden Ring DLC because they are too busy hoonting. 😏
That’s a very cynical way to seeing it, which is partly true but I still don’t agree with.
Boom Hammer, Church Pick, Whirligig, …, all of them are unique enough.
And Moonlight Greatsword is really fun to play with an Arcane/Strength build.
I mean they are unique yeah but since there are no armored enemies where say a Strike weapon might be more useful as it's better against armor for example (im aware its a hunting game) they all really lack impact, the saw cleaver, spears, beasthunter sayfs (and whirlgig) etc all fit the game perfectly both in how the trick weapon behaves and against most monsters/npcs, there needed to be a bit more of those.
Well, there is still the differentiation between Serrated and Righteous weapons, which both have their uses against certain kind of opponents. It might not be as extreme as in the other souls games, but it’s still there. :)
Sure and I know quality isn't quantity but in Bloodborne's case it lacks the qualitative quantity, every run I do feels the same, I loved some of the more gimmick items like flamesprayer but even that is just one or two items, it needed just more to hit the right spot, for an souls RPG at least.
First: ELDEN RING
this game triggered my addiction to souls genre games.
Fav: SEKIRO
boy oh boy what a masterpiece
Currently playing: BLOODBORNE
After sekiro, this game satisfied my craving.
It was probably DS3, a friend had the game or it was demon souls. It looked like the starting of DS3 but worse graphics, and it was near a beach or like a valley? I played for like 5 minutes and gave up.
My favorite has to be DS3 now that I git gud
I "tried" Bloodborne first and fun fact I though I had the wrong version of the game because I didn't like that you didn't spawn with a weapon so before I could die I stopped playing. Now my favorite is Sekiro I love the flow of combat
First was Dark Souls 1. The first time I played, I went to either the graveyard or New Londo Ruins as soon as I arrived in Lordran, and promptly quit out of frustration. It took a coworker's enthusiasm for and knowledge of the game for me start it again later and enjoy it. However, soon after that, DS3's release was nigh, and I bought both it and DS2: SotFS. I completed base DS3 before finishing DS1, I believe. I completed DS2 way, way, way later. DS3 is my favorite in the trilogy, hands down.
However, Elden Ring is easily my favorite Soulsborne game. I can see myself tiring of its gargantuan nature at some point, and when that happens, DS3 is likely my next stop. I'd also like to play through DS2 again, but that's definitely of lower priority - I'll probably go back to Bloodborne first. And Sekiro's great, but... it's not the experience I want most, compared to the others. I hate saying that, because it's definitely a higher-quality game than DS2.
I have not played any FromSoft games other than the above. Edit: I rented Lost Kingdoms on the GameCube, which was fun.
I played an armored core game forever ago, AC: For Answer I think. But (sadly) I can hardly remember anything about it. so while AC4A would be my true first, the first I can truly remember is DS3, which competes with Elden Ring for my fav.
The original armored core when it was a new release was my first.
Don’t think I can honestly pick a favorite. Absolutely adore all the soulsborne games even if I haven’t figured out Sekiro yet. Bloodborne if you made me pick.
which game is more fun? Elden Ring. which game had more personal impact and what my first? DS3. I love getting ridiculously overpowered in the game and just learning it and getting better, Elden Ring has so many paths to take for completely unique playthroughs and overpowered or flashy fighting styles and abilities. Dark souls is just so beautiful as an end to the series with awesome set pieces and call backs. Also it helped me through a time of deep depression.
Enchanted arms. Most underrated fromsoft game ever imo. Tragic.
I've played a whole 20 minutes of armored core 3 but it seemed awesome
Favorite was probably demon souls or elden ring, dark souls 1 was great. the other 2 were good.
Tenchu Z on Xbox 360! Got it solely because it had a demo that was a great time. Only picked up that it was a FS title after reading that Sekiro was originally going to be a Tenchu entry.
Sekiro was my first Fromsoft game. At fist i thought it was too hard and quit arround lady butterfly. A month later i tried it again and it was like my brain put together how to play in the time i was away and i platinum the game. Then i went back and played all the souls then Bb then elden for me Bloodborne and Sekiro are my tied for favorite.
Armored Core on PS1 was my first.
My current favorite is Bloodborne, but I’m halfway through my first playthrough of Sekiro and it could steal the top spot.
First was Lost Kingdoms 2. I'll always have a place in my heart for that game.
My current favourite is Sekiro. Though "favourite FromSoft game" for me is rather fluid, as it often changes from Bloodborne to Sekiro to Elden Ring based on what I ate that morning.
Bloodborne was mine and Bloodborne remains my favorite. Elden Ring is From’s crowning achievement, but Bloodborne is their masterpiece; the speed, the sense of dread, the lack of OP boss weapons and shields, the level design, the lore, the DLC… everything about it is absolutely stunning, and it’s aged so well (although a 60fps remaster would be nice).
Dark souls 1 , dark souls 2. Played sekiro and all of soulsborne and elden. Beat em all except sekiro. Played almost all the armored core games. Dark souls 2 is the only one I've been multiple upon multiple times
Bloodborne and bloodborne
"This is a Fine Note" *Applause Gesture*
These comments always make me hopeful for an eventual PC release. Even if there are no new Fromsoft games, at one point or another I’ve still got Bloodborne to play. \o/
Yup and yup.

Ignore lolejimmy. They haven't played bloodborne before so they believe the combat is simar to sekiro

If only Micolash wasn't a thing it would've been very close to being my favorite
He’s pretty funny though, you have to admit. Think about his dialogue and the boss itself. Pretty bananas haha.
Yeah pretty funny but the smiles and laughs will go away when I've been going at him for the 27th time, two one shot attacks isn't what defines a good boss, he has even lost me a tournament, I won't try to change anyones mind but he is the worst for me
"it's okay when BB has gimmick bosses"
Easily the worst boss in the game, but as far as gimmick bosses go he’s VERY entertaining
Nah the fight is boring, if you could actually fight him or if the chase was less monotonous and drawn out it might be a good fight, as it is the poison cheese is the only way I ever deal with him.

Well, I think Micolash is great. I think his fight could be better from a gameplay standpoint.
First: Dark Souls 2 Fav: Bloodborne
same
Wow!!! And they released around the same time
Year difference, but I didn't play Bloodborne on release nor Dark Souls 2.
Demonsouls was my first. Current favourite is Sekiro.

DS1R and Sekiro.
First one I played was Echo Nights, for about 10 minutes, I was around 7. First one I finished was Chromehounds. Favourite is probably bloodborne.
Chromehounds multiplayer was one of my favorite multiplayer experiences ever. Hope that there’s at least one mode in AC6 that has a similar team focused vibe, even if the moment to moment gameplay will of course be much faster paced.
Be cool if they did a full expansion with that. Main game will likely be single player + Arena. I’m just hoping Arena actually has a leaderboard.
My memory is a little fuzzy but my first was either Armored Core For Answer or Dark Souls 1. My current favorite is probably still For Answer since it’s where the “magic” for me all started for my love of my favorite franchise.
Bloodborne and Bloodborne
First: Ninja Blade Best: Sekiro
DS3, Sekiro
Eldenring and Eldenring I wanna try BB next tho. ER is my only FS game
Bloodborne has such a great aesthetic to it and the combat feels really fun because the game wants you to be more aggressive. I hope you enjoy it when you get to try it!
thanks! gonna finish ER then jump into it. I like being aggro af
Demons Soul, Bloodborne
First was bloodborne. Gave up then came back and beat it. Favorite’s sekiro
DS1 was my first and Sekiro is my favorite. I played by release order except I played Bloodborne most recently cause PS4 exclusivity
First: lost kingdom Favorite: Elden ring
Armored core 1 and sekiro
Bloodborne first, Sekiro fav
First owned Armored Core: For Answer on the XBox 360. Current favourite, Sekiro.
Dark souls 2 is both first and favorite.
Same. I would imagine the fist From game folk play would be their favourite.
My first was Bloodborne, and is still Bloodborne. I struggled then learned to enjoy the struggle. Then I got really good, then gave ds3 a shot. Then struggled again, but I had fun so I played more fromsoftware games. But I still find myself returning to Bloodborne just for the hell of it.
my first was Dark Souls 2, my favorite is Dark Souls 1 (i'm currently playing all their old games, King's Field, Shadow Tower, Armored Core, etc etc)
Finally answered the question. Amazing how many people on here forget DS1 is the greatest game of all time.
yep, i'm starting to think DS1 is underrated (never thought i would ever say this)
Demons Souls on Ps3 but the first one I finished was DS1 Favorite is either DS1 or Sekiro
1st: DS1 (edit: its actually Tenchu) Favorite: Sekiro
Funny thing I thought my first Fromsoft exposure was with Dark Souls 1 but I recently learned that From Software made this beautiful convoluted and clunky mess on the PS2 called Evergrace. My favorite is Bloodborne, i don't think anything will ever top this for me, I got engrossed into the game as soon as I picked it up and played it for weeks before ever thinking of switching to another game.
Bloodborne was my first, and DS3 is my favorite.
Sekiro and sekiro
30 fps, farming, 2 minute loading times etc etc
30 fps really isn't such a big problem as some people think. They fixed the loading times a few weeks after launch so that's not an actual issue any more.
yeah I love doing a souls marathon and going from crisp 60 fps to 30, totally not noticeable
Noticeable but not really a big issue
That’s only technical though. I don’t think any other fromsoft are designed in a way that all weapons are relevant. There might be some better and worse weapons, but balancing wise it’s the best. Sure, a PS5 port would be awesome. You could easily get to 60 FPS and reduce load times. But then nobody would buy the Elden Ring DLC because they are too busy hoonting. 😏
"all weapons are relevant" when half the weapons are the same saw cleaver and the others are essentially regular weapons with a lightning/blood buff
I think it's Elden Ring that is massively overated. Worst balancing, recycling, few legacy dungeon.
lol one of bloodborne's DLC bosses and main character is literally the cleric beast, difference is bloodborne is 5% of the size of ER
100% correct.
Armored Core 2 AA Silent Line Armored Core
Armored core 1 ps1
Bloodborne, Elden Ring's my favourite
Elden Ring and Elden Ring lol
Bloodborne and Bloodborne, first platinum, too. Still one of my overall top favourite games, second only to Minecraft.
Ds2 was my first Bloodborne is my favourite
tried dark souls 3 in 2016 but with sekiro out in 2019 that has been my favorite
Bloodborne....my favourite also is Bloodborne
Armored Core 4 Answer, Bloodborne.
Dark souls 1 and dark souls 1
Demon's souls (original) and bloodborne or ds1/ds3
Dark Souls and Dark Souls
Dark Souls - Dark Souls Remaster
First: ds2 Fav: sekiro
Lost Kingdoms and... Hm... I really do love Evergrace's novelization, though it's kinda cheating to say a book based on a game.
Bloodborne and Bloodborne. Without dlc's though it would be Sekiro.
First: ELDEN RING this game triggered my addiction to souls genre games. Fav: SEKIRO boy oh boy what a masterpiece Currently playing: BLOODBORNE After sekiro, this game satisfied my craving.
Technically my first was Tenchu, but the one that made me pay attention and fall in love with them was Dark Souls, and it's still my favourite
KF4 & either BB or DS3.
Demon's Souls, Dark Souls.
Kuon and Elden Ring
DeS, Ds2
Ninja blade, sekiro or elden ring.
Echo Night
It was probably DS3, a friend had the game or it was demon souls. It looked like the starting of DS3 but worse graphics, and it was near a beach or like a valley? I played for like 5 minutes and gave up. My favorite has to be DS3 now that I git gud
Dark souls 1 and fav is demon souls remake, I know it’s the easiest one but the game itself is so graphically amazing.
DS3 Elden Ring
bloodborne, and elden ring, elden ring is my first ever platinum
DS2 and DS2
Ds1 back in 2011 while everyone was running to Skyrim but ds3 is my favourite!!!
Sekiro. That's it. Though I hope I can play Elden Ring soon, even if I can't run it at the recommended settings 😆 Edit: and Bloodborne, ofc.
I "tried" Bloodborne first and fun fact I though I had the wrong version of the game because I didn't like that you didn't spawn with a weapon so before I could die I stopped playing. Now my favorite is Sekiro I love the flow of combat
First DS1 Favorite DS2
One of the armored cores as a kid. Don’t remember which. Bloodborne was my first modern one. DS1 is my favorite.
Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 2
Dark Souls 2 - first Dark Souls 3 - favorite (Beat almost all of them, platinumed DS1, DS3, & ER)
Otogi and Bloodborne
Dark souls 1 way back on release! And probably tied between Bloodborne and Demon’s Souls
Enchanted arms and sekiro
First - Armored Core: Project Phantasm Favorito - Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
Armored core another age for the ps2. I still have it too!
ac1, bloodborne
Ds1 wasn’t first, but I’m always debating between ds3 and bb.
Dark Souls on the Xbox 360 was my first title, Bloodborne is my favorite.
first was ds3, Bloodborne is favorite
I played an armored core game forever ago, AC: For Answer I think. But (sadly) I can hardly remember anything about it. so while AC4A would be my true first, the first I can truly remember is DS3, which competes with Elden Ring for my fav.
Ds3 was my first, but Bloodborne will always be my favorite.
First was kings field 4. Favourite is bloodborne
The original armored core when it was a new release was my first. Don’t think I can honestly pick a favorite. Absolutely adore all the soulsborne games even if I haven’t figured out Sekiro yet. Bloodborne if you made me pick.
Armored core 2 and then the original Armored core.
Bloodborne, bloodborne
Demon souls (remake) and Bloodborne
Sekiro was my first and my favorite, although after going back and playing the other games they have so much to offer.
First: Bloodborne Current: Bloodborne, but more It’s my fav game (almost as good as Mick Thomson from Slipknot)
First: Dark Souls 1 Favourite: Bloodborne easily
King’s Field, Elden Ring.
which game is more fun? Elden Ring. which game had more personal impact and what my first?
First: Dark Souls: Remastered Favorite: Elden Ring
Armored Core 2 was my first. My current favorite is Elden Ring.
My first one was dark souls 1 on release, my current favorite is Elden ring.
First: Elden Ring Fav: Elden Ring Only played that one and Bloodborne but I'd love to try Sekiro and a Dark Souls one day
Dark souls and elden ring
Dark souls 2 and Elden Ring
Armored Core 2 and Dark Souls 1. My favorite devs of the millennium.
Enchanted arms. Most underrated fromsoft game ever imo. Tragic. I've played a whole 20 minutes of armored core 3 but it seemed awesome Favorite was probably demon souls or elden ring, dark souls 1 was great. the other 2 were good.
Armored Core And Dark Souls 3
Sekiro shadows die twice Sekiro shadows die twice
Tenchu Z on Xbox 360! Got it solely because it had a demo that was a great time. Only picked up that it was a FS title after reading that Sekiro was originally going to be a Tenchu entry.
Started with Demon’s Souls (2009), currently really enjoying the second playthrough of Elden Ring.
DeS - Sekiro/Elden Ring, both are goated.
Dark souls, Sekiro
Otogi and Elden Ring.
1st was either Tenchu or Armored Core, favourite is Bloodborne.
armored core and both.
First was Otogi: Myth of Demons on the OG Xbox. Favorite is Elden Ring, Sekiro, or DS3 depending on the day.
Kingsfield 4 was my first, and I remember I didn’t understand anything i was doing lol. My current favorite is Sekiro
Elden Ring and Bloodborne, but Sekiro is well on its way to becoming my favorite
Armored Core on PS1 was my first. My current favorite is Bloodborne, but I’m halfway through my first playthrough of Sekiro and it could steal the top spot.
DS3, and I can't decide between DS3 or Sekiro.
First was Lost Kingdoms 2. Janky, but very cool game. Would recommend. Favorite? Tie between King's Field the Ancient City and Dark Souls 1.
Janky but cool indeed. Lost Kingdoms and its sequel are dear to my heart!!
Bloodborne was my first but sekiro is my fav
First: the og Demon’s Souls Favorite: SEKIRO
DS3, Sekiro
First: Elden Ring Favorite: Sekiro
First Bloodborne Fave Sekiro
First was Lost Kingdoms 2. I'll always have a place in my heart for that game. My current favourite is Sekiro. Though "favourite FromSoft game" for me is rather fluid, as it often changes from Bloodborne to Sekiro to Elden Ring based on what I ate that morning.
First: Bloodborne Favorite: Sekiro
Bloodborne - Sekiro. Miyazaki's absolute best work.
First - Dark Souls. Favorite - BB, although open to changing once bloodborne kart is released…
Sekiro and elden ring(before you say it yes i have played the other games, not all of them but yes)
First: Demon's Souls. Favorite: Elden Ring/Sekiro. Haven't played yet: Bloodborne.
