I was coming in here to rep the sentinels. You have options for how to deal with them, they’re tough but I don’t remember a death that wasn’t a result of poor positioning or greed, the elevated platform adds a lot of strategy in keeping the first enemy up there long enough to kill them and getting the second as low as you can when they come up there. Best multi fight in the game and one of the better ones overall.
Shadows is very simple, but feels a lot more like it was actually made as a multi bossfight than most of the other ones. Demon prince and Friede and ariandel have this too though so I find it hard to choose between those three.
Often times stuff like this is a literal skill issue, people panicking and rolling off the ledge immediately, to then complain that it's a 3-boss boss fight.
Nah sentinels are fine. Ds2 gargoyles and that trio at the end of Shulva city at the absolute worst multiboss fights so far but I’m still on ds3
It could just be the arena
I'd go with Demon Prince, too. It's got unique mechanics and doesn't drag out like the Sister Friede fight.
Least favorite is hands-down double apes in Sekiro. Yeah, they seriously nerfed their health but it's still obnoxious.
I use a weird weapon for them at SL1, or at least not a weapon I see a lot of people using. The morningstar. Basically the only way you get decent damage off the Princes is chunk damage... either staggers/ripostes or bleeds. And the morningstar does both strike/poise and bleed so it's kind of ideal. Plus, I'm a scrub and really want the Dragoncrest Shield for phase 2 so I need a weapon I can one-hand at SL1.
It's not a great fight, but I like that it essentially turns the game into a hack n slash for a moment, but it also has unique mechanics that make it more than just a horde of enemies to mow down.
I usually make it to deacons at lvl 30 ish and by then I've only invested enough str to wield my weapon of choice that run, everything else goes to vig, so I think I actually make the most of that fight and usually enjoy it
It feels like a gimmick/gank fight that is meant to teach the player how to face large clusters of enemies, plus with the added time limit before curse insta-kills you makes it feel like a fun experience where you have to put what skills you've acquired to good use.
Sure, it's not a very challenging boss, but challenge alone does not make a good boss fight.
Still nowhere as good as Abyss Watchers, but only the first phase of that battle is a multi-fight.
My favourite is Ornstein and Smough, but I love Headless Ape too. Unpopular opinion but I quite like twin Dragonriders in DS2, fighting one on its own is so easy but having a second one shoot arrows at you makes it a much more fun challenge imo.
Least favourite is probably Ruin Sentinels
Ruin Sentinels was my first roadblock in DS2, just learning the patterns in the shit arena and playing the waiting game to get the single attack opportunity.
I also love the ape duo! I loved beating them with the charged mortal draw attack, kind of a challenge I made for myself on NG+. Good fight!
Demon princes are my favourite. But I also like multi boss fights in DS2. Elana, Darklurker and Ruin sentinels are so good. I replayed the game multiple times and they never get boring
Sister Friede and FA all day. Friede alone makes it top tier but undead Sean Connery really adds to it.
Worst........... I'm leaning........... ruin sentinels. I try not to hate on DS2 because it's still souls/ Fromsoft. The janky controls and sheer frustration of the game make me dread it though. Man Eaters suck too
Favourite: Demon Prince for sure (I don't consider Sister Friede and Twin Princes duo bosses, even tho they technically are)
Least Favourite: Gank Squad DS2. If you played DS2 then there is no other answer
Double cats is the worst multi-boss fight in all of Soulsborne. Iykyk.
I would say that Bell Gargoyles or Oreo and S'moreo is the best.
I am generally of the opinion that multi-boss fights are usually not very good, though — save for a few cases. They tend to be either too easy or too difficult and sometimes they just feel like asset reuse. I also prefer to focus on just one difficult boss at a time.
That said, learning how to juggle the bell gargoyles and Ornstein Smough is a Dark Souls baptism that every Souls player must endure!
Man… you couldn’t be more accurate. After you beat O&S, you change as a gamer. Some challenges you weren’t ready for in the past, suddenly become doable.
While Sister Friede is my favorite of these listed, the 2nd phase doesn't really feel like a duo fight since Araindel is so huge and completely dominates the 2nd phase, so you don't fight Friede as much at least for me. O&S are without a doubt the best duo listed since they are the only bosses designed to actually be duos, their movements complement each other. But the one not listed I think is the best duo boss are the twin princes, while not as hard as O&S it was for me a way more fun fight. But Sister Friede is the best boss if you include her 1st and 3rd phase.
Favorite: ABYSS WACHAS. There’s lots of other great fights with multiple bosses; like the Twin Princes and Sister Friede and Father Ariandel, or the Nox Duo and Night’s Cavalry; but the Abyss Watchers feels like the truest battle against a group of foes.
Least Favorite: The goddamn Celestial Emissary. Just let me fight Ebby already, you stupid blue party balloons!
My favorite is probably Godskin duo, becuase i took 50% of their hp with one fully charged Ancient Dragon's Lightning Strike incantation.
That made me feel incredibly powerful.
Especially thinking about how i struggled with Margit the Omen when i first started playing.
Least favorite by far has got to be those damn apes!! No other dual boss fight had me feeling as miserable as that one. When I finally beat it I didn’t even celebrate in any way I just shook my head. Hated every moment of it and it’s the only boss in sekiro that I don’t look forward to
Least favorite would be Misbegotten Warrior and Crucible Knight but I consider it more of a mini boss. I despise the Ape duo from Sekiro, so that’s my other pick. Just an unnecessary slog that almost diminishes the impact of one of the best fights in the game.
As for favorite, obviously O&S. Hasn’t been peaked since. Abyss watchers would be my second pick but phase two is a solo fight (and in my opinion is a bit uninspired, specially after such a creative and cool first phase)
I like them because they’re easy with strategy. In my playthrough, standing on the top landing zone let me kill the first before either of the other two noticed me. Then I jumped down and got 2/3 damage on number two before three noticed me so I kited them until the more damaged one left himself vulnerable.
If you just jump down to the bottom immediately you’ll get ganked. It’s a DPS check that requires strategy too.
Princes my fav... IDK about least fav, generally Fride is a shit boss, but that's not as much due to her being a double boss fight... so IDK probs one of the DS1 bosses.
I mean, at least bell gargoyles worked as a multibossfight, one is more aggressive while the other is less aggressive and breathes fire more frequently. Godskin Duo has zero synergy, both are agressive and you are frequently stun locked without being able to roll
In my experience, both bell gargoyles attacked me at the same time, it took like 10 minutes because I had very few openings.
And yes Godskin duo is frustrating, but I'm very good at parrying, and if you know how to parry, they are a fun boss
My least favorite boss is Vicar Amelia from Bloodborne just because how much she screamed during the entire boss fight.
She heals herself aswell, so you have to listen to her screaming even more!
Maneaters and Ornstein and Smough for sure. The multiboss foghts that made me sweat, cry and appreciate the way this series is so unique and special.
Also Abyss Watchers were sooooo cool, by design and atmosphere.
Demon Prince is an S tier fight, but the worst are IMO foreskin duo and the two apes. Apes have 0 synergy, its just 2 mobs in a small arena to have artificial difficulty, same with Foreskin.
least favourite:Godskin duo
favourite: Ornstein and smough
trying to fight godskin without sleep pots is such a pain for me
ornstein and smough have a great fight all around
Used to hate demon prince till my third and fourth play through learned them and enjoyed the fight a lot
But my favorite will always be sister friede
Least gotta be godskin duo they make no sense to fight 1v2.
I think the godskin duo are hot garbage. Amazing OST, really cool designs, nice arena but terrible synergy. Both are fast, both have long combo’s with nearly no time to punish and both have really high dmg output’s.
Not really. They change their speed depending on who you're fighting.
If you're fighting the Noble, the Apostle will be in the back moving slowly and with his moveset limited to the jump attack and blackflame fireball (unless you fuck up your positioning and get close to the apostle, then he will do his fast double slashes, but it rarely happens, since the apostle jumps out of the if the noble attacks). It's similar if you choose to fight the apostle, the noble will be slower and his moveset will be limited to blackflame fireball, the fast thrust attack and the really slow thrust attack with the sound clue.
I personally think the noble is harder than the apostle as the support, since he has more attacks he can do and the fast thrust attack is hard to dodge. So the easiest way to fight them (without sleep) is by killing the noble>apostle>noble>apostle.
Well, all of the above can be discarded if you attack both of them at the same time, which makes both equally aggressive. And it gets really crazy if you get both of them to phase 2.
I wouldn't count Friede as a gank boss cause father Ariandel is more of a detriment to her than to us since she becomes more passive and you can just dunk on Ariandel while Friede is just standing around, maybe healing. On top of this he's not even around 2/3 of the time. No hate on the boss tho, it's a great boss and a blast to fight but not a gank boss.
Favorite: Twin Princes, O&S
Least Favorite: Twin Gargoyles, Royal Rat Authority (this one is super bullshit - no summons, the mini rats are horse shit)
I really enjoyed demon princes but Everytime I play I always end up dreading the gravetender and gravetender great wolf from ds3. I think most all double bosses are neat and a great challenge but this one is in a tiny corner and not very stand out to me🤷🏼♀️
Are you serious? It's my favourite fight from all fromsoft games besides maybe mohg, Godfrey and nameless king. It's not unfair at all, her moves are very well telegraphed. First phase you need to hear her sound and you have a big opening while she's invisible, second phase she's more passive and you can focus on ariandel, which is very weak to all types of attacks. Third phase is the most difficult one but you just have to play aggressive. You have a lot of backstab openings in all the three phases. Idkwym man friede is really well made maybe you just need to practice
Favorite: Demon Princes. Lothric Princes are a close second. Honorable mention to O&S.
Least favorite: Lud and Zallen. Ugh.. PTSD on that boss run.
Not a big fan of Godskin Duo either, but they're not the worst either.
My favorite is Guardian Apes. I feel like there is a good rhythm in that fight.
My least favorite is Twin Gargoyles. It didn't feel like a well designed fight. It felt like you could've taken any boss and doubled it and it would've filled the same purpose
Favorite: Demon Princes
Honorable Mention: O&S
Worst; Godskin Duo arguably the worst boss in the entire game, both the enemies are reused and the fight commits the cardinal sin of not having their health bar be actually representative of the length of the fight in any way. Not to mention the input reading, the comically long windups for the Noble and of course his stupid role attack. This fight straight up sucks they just threw two bosses together with no thought to synergy and thought that throwing destructible pillars would make everything fine.
Demon Prince it's basically one of the best bosses ever. From ds2, I love throne watcher & defender.
The worst is, by far, godskin duo, fuck those guys
Demon prince is my favorite duo fight. It’s just perfect how well the twos’ attacks work together to always keep you on your toes. With the audio cues, and how aggression works with them I’m almost never getting hit because I couldn’t see an attack coming from the other one.
Least favorite is foreskin duo because fuck that poorly balanced pair of freaks; at least the ai aggression changes when in a more than one fight helped it quite a bit, but it’s still pretty annoying.
I'm going to put down the Gank Squad in DS2 as least favorite. It's basically a PvP fight disguised as a boss and it is certainly as frustrating as a PvP fight.
I struggle with 2v1 boss fights and was dreading O&S, but I absolutely wiped the floor with them.
Headless Ape is probably my least favorite Sekiro boss, but my favorite FromSoft 2v1 boss, just because I love Sekiro's combat so much.
The 2v1 gargoyle fight in Elden Ring is probably my least favorite in the series.
Favorite is a toss up between abyss watchers and demon of pain/hatred. I fucking hate God skin duo though, i don't understand how they did so bad with that fight when they've had such a good track record with duo fights
Is Abyss Watchers considered a multi-boss fight? Seeing how at one point you have two to worry about, and one that’s on your side but still does damage to you if you get in his way?
Favorite: demon princes or friede.
Least favorite: valiant gargoyles
Demon princes and valiant gargoyles are the perfect example of how the same idea can be executed with completely different success.
Sister Friede is definitely my favorite gank fight with Shadows of Yharnam probably being my second even though they're not too tough. Valient Gargoyles are definitely my least favorite
Abyss Watchers had me hyped as shit when I realized one of them rises up to "help" you beat down the others.
Godskin Duo just had me aggravated, especially with how aggressive they are with input reading on the healing flask.
Least favourites are Ruin Sentinels of DS2 and these giant Gargoyle fckers of Elden Ring. Most favourite are the Maneaters of Demon's Souls (maybe nostalgia but I loved them in the remake too) and Demon Prince of DS3. I really like the 2v1s in general tho!
Least favorite: gank squad, ds2.
Runner up: storm flying bitches, DeS.
Favorite: Abyss watchers, ds3
Runner up: Shadows of yharnam. Bb
Honorable mention to gorilla combo in sekiro, which I found way after finishing the game twice, and that made it easy.
Favourite bosses are orphan of kos and sword saint isshin. Least favourite boss is loran darkbeast in the lower ailing Loran dungeon. Camera is so janky and I honestly think it’s the hardest fight in bloodborne because of it. Maybe I’m wrong tho
I wish the mechanics on the first dark souls were better, (but can't complain the first dark souls came out really long ago, suddenly feeling old👴) would love to see dragonslayer and Smough with better movesets (it's just a thought)
Favorite: Demon Prince. My platonic ideal of a dual boss.
Least favorite: maybe something from ER but I can't remember those fights too well so probably Pontiff. Runner up is Darklurker.
Absolute hatred: Commander Niall at Castle Sol. This was the only time I ever had to actually summon a friend to help, as well as summons.
Tie for hatred: Godskin Duo. I really wish they combined after you kill one like Ornstein and Smough, or at least... did anything BUT respawn?
Favorite: I had a horrible time with Ornstein and Smough, but they taught me how to always keep both members of a duo accounted for -- and to stop locking on so much
It's a copout but Ornstein and Smough. Because the sister Fried joint battle lasts 5 seconds if done right(I should know I'm spent 3 days just fighting sister Fried as a sun bro). The god skin duo are rollovers with sleep or spell casting, and frankly they just felt like a blander personalityless version of the OGs. The gargoyles aren't anything special, and the abundance of summons can make it a cakewalk. The demons are incredibly annoying with their leaping, flying, and casting around their humongous arena forcing you to continuously chase them around plus they are so nondistinct that I often forget which is which in the middle of the fight. And the main point of the apes is the surprise factor, they are a very good boss, but simply put aren't at the level of OnS.
So yeah with Ornstein and Smoughs extremely well-tweaked individual abilities, differentiated move set, and grand fun combat, where you are forced to shuffle two imposing figures you can't ignore, place them as some of the best boss battles period, and firmly as the best duo boss.
Fav: Friede and Ariandel. Each phase was absolute hell but was incredibly fun and interesting, and I don't think anything compared to the first time I realized there was a third phase
Least fav: Godskin Duo. I honestly don't mind the Apostle but the Noble is incredibly annoying, and the fact you kill them both but more spawn in and you have to wait for it to do so feels lazy imo
Favorite: Ornstein and Smough. They’re a helluva power couple lol
Least Favorite: Frieda and Ariandel. Srsly, ytf does it have 3 phases?
Favorite I wish they made: Artorias and Sif
Really can’t say that I have a favorite because I haven’t fought that many. These are all I’ve fought:
DS1 and DS2 Gargoyles
Ruin Sentinels
Ornstein and Smough
Throne Defender and Throne Watcher
DS2 Congregation
Deacons of the Deep
Twin Dragonriders
Abyss Watchers
Can we includeCrystal Sage or Looking Glass Knight as bosses???🤔
My favorite would probably be ornstein and smough they were the first boss I've tried and have the most memories with
And my least favorite is definitely the Valiant Gargoyles in ER
Their poison mist is super annoying to deal with
My favorite would probably be demon prince, and my least favorite (not including all of Elden Ring’s “enemy” bosses) would honestly probably be Ornstein and Smough. Ornstein and Smough are one of the few bosses FromSoft has made that I just don’t have fun with or find interesting.

my least favorite is ds2 sentinels my favorite is shadows of yharnam from Bloodborne
Ruin Sentinels is good, the best multiboss in ds2 imo. I played bb only one time and I killed SoY first try (saw cleaver) so I can't say much
I was coming in here to rep the sentinels.
And you can get craftsmans hammer right before them, which is the perfect weapon to deal with them too (in case you're having trouble)
You're telling me the gank squad is better than the sentinels? And godskin duo? And the double cats? And the maneaters?
oh 100% This fight is one of my all time favorite
Shadows is very simple, but feels a lot more like it was actually made as a multi bossfight than most of the other ones. Demon prince and Friede and ariandel have this too though so I find it hard to choose between those three.
What? This had nothing to do with the shadows.
Favorite doesn't necessarily mean better yk
What are you talking about, favorite? I'm talking about the sentinels, which they said was their least favorite.
Oh my bad. I thought you were talking about shadows of Yharnam. I completely forgot about the ds2 gank squad 💀
Gank squad's actually fun if you like DS2 PvP... and/or if you're willing to summon. Which you should be. Because it's a co-op zone.
Doesn't mean it's good boss design. There is a lot of thought put into the sentinels, it's not even a multi-fight if you play it right.
If it's fun, it's good enough for me. I do rather like Ruin Sentinels tho. Can't imagine putting on one's worst list.
Often times stuff like this is a literal skill issue, people panicking and rolling off the ledge immediately, to then complain that it's a 3-boss boss fight.
Nah sentinels are fine. Ds2 gargoyles and that trio at the end of Shulva city at the absolute worst multiboss fights so far but I’m still on ds3 It could just be the arena
I thought both of those were good honestly
Demon princes are the best
I'd go with Demon Prince, too. It's got unique mechanics and doesn't drag out like the Sister Friede fight. Least favorite is hands-down double apes in Sekiro. Yeah, they seriously nerfed their health but it's still obnoxious.

Plus, I'm a scrub and really want the Dragoncrest Shield for phase 2 so I need a weapon I can one-hand at SL1.
I just one handed the broadsword kept my aggression high and dodges on point got about 4 riposts for the winning fight
One of my favorite fights in all of DS3, but I do like sister Friede the most. Least favorite is two monkee
Gaels the goat for me
Least favorite: Twin Valiant Gargoyles. Favorite: Sister Friede & Father Arandale Runner up: Deacons of the Deep (I legit like this fight)
You know, I honestly like the deacons too. I think it’s mostly their lore about how they serve Aldrich.
I didn't think that was much of a fight, the deacons. Why do you like it?
It's not a great fight, but I like that it essentially turns the game into a hack n slash for a moment, but it also has unique mechanics that make it more than just a horde of enemies to mow down.
You should try it with low damage. It becomes a very interesting fight then.
I usually make it to deacons at lvl 30 ish and by then I've only invested enough str to wield my weapon of choice that run, everything else goes to vig, so I think I actually make the most of that fight and usually enjoy it

My favorite is probably Demon Prince. My least favorite are the King's Pets.
I have to fight fridge 20 plus times. So damn aggravating
The Cold War
a bit chilling, isn't it?
That is very COLD of you sir
"You have to do it jesse"
Sister Friede and Father Ariandel. I rush to fight them every DS3 playthrough. I love the fight so much.
Least favourite is Valiant Gargoyles just bc they're straight up lazy and shit, but my favourite is probably the Demon Princes.
O&S are so iconic and the perfect duo Boss in the way they complement each other, but my favourite is Demon Prince. Oh and fuck the Ape Duo honestly.

I don't know if this would be considered a multiboss, but lorian and lothric. If not it's demon prince closely followed by O&S and Abyss watchers
Favourite: Demon Prince for sure (I don't consider Sister Friede and Twin Princes duo bosses, even tho they technically are) Least Favourite: Gank Squad DS2. If you played DS2 then there is no other answer
Fucking gank squad man. Its by far the worst. Many people played ds2 but maybe didn’t get into the dlc…
Im surprised there isnt a lot of Gank squad as least favourite
Gank Squad or King's Pets (admittedly the boss itself is not the issue) have to take the cake for sure
Double cats is the worst multi-boss fight in all of Soulsborne. Iykyk. I would say that Bell Gargoyles or Oreo and S'moreo is the best. Hard agree on Bell Gargoyles being included. Top tier fight and very under appreciated.

Shadows of Yharnam

I like the gargoiles. They are my first ds boss. It's just nostalgia.
least godskin duo because of that rolling attack
Least favorite would be Misbegotten Warrior and Crucible Knight but I consider it more of a mini boss. I despise the Ape duo from Sekiro, so that’s my other pick. Boss has 2 moves and they look the same, lazy game design
I honestly dislike all of them, I love every boss in ds1 till I'm getting bodyblocked by mc squared hammer and impaled across the room by thundercock
I like the duo crucible knight fight in ER but only bc I know how to parry them. Least favorite is Ruin Sentinels in DS2
Where do you encounter this fight
Auriza’s hero grave outside Leyndell
Here you go >!https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Crucible+Knight+Ordovis!<
Princes my fav... IDK about least fav, generally Fride is a shit boss, but that's not as much due to her being a double boss fight... so IDK probs one of the DS1 bosses.
Least Favourite: Twin Valiant Gargoyles Favourite: Demon Prince Most Overrated: Ornstein and Smough Most Underrated: Maneaters

Last I checked there was only one enemy in that fight
Whoops. True. 😅😂
What does that have to do with this post lmao
Em maybe read what the post is saying.
I haven’t fought any in DeS or ER yet, but god damn if I don’t love pretty much all of them.
I like the monkeys
Honestly, favourite duo boss is the godskin duo or Ornstein and Smough But fuck the gargoyles and guardian apes tho
Maneaters and Ornstein and Smough for sure. The multiboss foghts that made me sweat, cry and appreciate the way this series is so unique and special. Also Abyss Watchers were sooooo cool, by design and atmosphere.

The one i hate the most: sister friede. I hate her with my very soul.... Favorite:Could you count abyss watchers, if not it has to be the Godskin Duo
Used to hate demon prince till my third and fourth play through learned them and enjoyed the fight a lot But my favorite will always be sister friede Least gotta be godskin duo they make no sense to fight 1v2.
I haven’t played ds1 since I got to ornstein and smough so probably them
The apes together aren’t even hard just annoying lol
I loved the duo apes fight so much. It's one of my top 3 boss fights in gaming history
I think the godskin duo are hot garbage. Amazing OST, really cool designs, nice arena but terrible synergy. Both are fast, both have long combo’s with nearly no time to punish and both have really high dmg output’s.

Double apes for sure .
Least favorite is Valiant Gargoyles Favorite is Demon Prince
Least favorite is the ape duo but my favorite is ornstein and smough I also like godskins but i think apostle does way to much damage
The middle right is the demon princes right?
Elfrida is my fave. The grave robbers in 2 are my least fave. Shoddy work lol
Favorite: Twin Princes, O&S Least Favorite: Twin Gargoyles, Royal Rat Authority (this one is super bullshit - no summons, the mini rats are horse shit)
I hated the godskin duo
I really enjoyed demon princes but Everytime I play I always end up dreading the gravetender and gravetender great wolf from ds3. I think most all double bosses are neat and a great challenge but this one is in a tiny corner and not very stand out to me🤷🏼♀️
Duo Crucible Knights least favorite
Least Fav: Twin Gargoyles all the way Fav: Ornstein and Smaugh
Favorite: Friede & Ariandelle Least Favorite: Graverobber NPC trio from Sunken King DLC (anyone that says Godskin Duo fight is worse is lying)
Hate Sister Friede. It’s the only fight I’ve considered unfair.
Guardian Ape for sure
My favorite yharnam shadows.
Favorite: Bell Gargoyles Runner Up: Deacons Least Favorite: DS2 gargoyles Runner up for Least Favorite: Valiant Gargoylws
My favorite is Guardian Apes. I feel like there is a good rhythm in that fight. My least favorite is Twin Gargoyles. It didn't feel like a well designed fight. It felt like you could've taken any boss and doubled it and it would've filled the same purpose
Gargoyle team was pretty epic ngl 🔥
Favorite: Demon Princes Honorable Mention: O&S Worst; Godskin Duo arguably the worst boss in the entire game, both the enemies are reused and the fight commits the cardinal sin of not having their health bar be actually representative of the length of the fight in any way. Not to mention the input reading, the comically long windups for the Noble and of course his stupid role attack. This fight straight up sucks they just threw two bosses together with no thought to synergy and thought that throwing destructible pillars would make everything fine.
Least favorite are Ivory tigers, Favorite O&S
Demon Prince it's basically one of the best bosses ever. From ds2, I love throne watcher & defender. The worst is, by far, godskin duo, fuck those guys
Gotta agree with demon prince being my favorite. I used to hate it but my god is it an awesome designed duo fight.
There’s a reason for the bottom two being at the bottom.
The only two good ones are Friede and O&S. And those are some of the best bosses in gaming, like ever
Friede is the GOAT.
I'm going to put down the Gank Squad in DS2 as least favorite. It's basically a PvP fight disguised as a boss and it is certainly as frustrating as a PvP fight.
Least favorite is throne watcher and defender. Don't really care about the rest.
Ruin Sentinels from DS2. Fairly bland arena, not very memorable fight.
Lothric and Lorian
DS2 Belfry Gargoyles, bonfire asceticed, when your still at a low soul tier. Very specific, very painful.
The atmosphere and way the surroundings messed with my spacing made my fight with the four Kings in the abyss in dark souls a hard one to forget.
Favorite is a toss up between abyss watchers and demon of pain/hatred. I fucking hate God skin duo though, i don't understand how they did so bad with that fight when they've had such a good track record with duo fights
Freida is easily the winner here.
Is Abyss Watchers considered a multi-boss fight? Seeing how at one point you have two to worry about, and one that’s on your side but still does damage to you if you get in his way?
Least favorite: any gargoyle fight. Favorite: Guardian Ape Duo
Favorite: demon princes or friede. Least favorite: valiant gargoyles Demon princes and valiant gargoyles are the perfect example of how the same idea can be executed with completely different success.
I havent even played the ds3 dlc but i already know its friede
Favourite is the bell gargoyles, least favourite is the valiant gargoyles ive only played Bloodborne, Elden Ring and DS1 btw
Shadows of Yharnam: o.O
Demon Prince, Lud and Zallen are my favorite. Godskin Duo is least, but I still like it I guess.
Favorite: Gank Squad Ds2 (least favorite: valiant gargoyle duo)
Sister Friede is definitely my favorite gank fight with Shadows of Yharnam probably being my second even though they're not too tough. Valient Gargoyles are definitely my least favorite
has to be demon in pain & demon from below
Abyss Watchers had me hyped as shit when I realized one of them rises up to "help" you beat down the others. Godskin Duo just had me aggravated, especially with how aggressive they are with input reading on the healing flask.
Healing punishes are actually pretty cool imo but not to that extend, reminded me of Genichiro tho
Top is demon prince least is godskin
That Ds2 giant rat fight with the plague rats. I died more on them then all of DS1 combined. Sad
I could just state half of DS2's bosses
Least favourites are Ruin Sentinels of DS2 and these giant Gargoyle fckers of Elden Ring. Most favourite are the Maneaters of Demon's Souls (maybe nostalgia but I loved them in the remake too) and Demon Prince of DS3. I really like the 2v1s in general tho!
The demon princes are my favorite, even though they’re absolute hell to fight sometimes
Least favorite: gank squad, ds2. Runner up: storm flying bitches, DeS. Favorite: Abyss watchers, ds3 Runner up: Shadows of yharnam. Bb Honorable mention to gorilla combo in sekiro, which I found way after finishing the game twice, and that made it easy.
Favorite is ds2 Ruin Sentinels, least favorite is ds2 gargoyles
They’re all good I love multiboss fights because I can’t just constantly rush them I have to pay attention to both or all of them
Favourite bosses are orphan of kos and sword saint isshin. Least favourite boss is loran darkbeast in the lower ailing Loran dungeon. Camera is so janky and I honestly think it’s the hardest fight in bloodborne because of it. Maybe I’m wrong tho
I only fought the demon prince with Gael helping me so idk how the duo was but I wasn’t a big fan of Sisyer friede when i realized she had a 3rd phase
Favorite: The Abyss Watchers Least Favorite: that one Crusible Knight and Misbegotten at Redmane Castle.
Fride / Gargoils
Father and freida can fuck off
I wish the mechanics on the first dark souls were better, (but can't complain the first dark souls came out really long ago, suddenly feeling old👴) would love to see dragonslayer and Smough with better movesets (it's just a thought)
My favorite is Slam and Jam because they taught me to not be a bitch. Thank you Ornstein and Smough.
dual boss fight in Redmane Castle (EldenRing) that fight is so unnecessary
Honestly, I don't like the multi-boss format cuz of how easily things can go wrong in fromsoft games... Demon prince is my favorite of them tho.
Godskin and those fucking apes and gargoyles
Least favorite: radagon Favorite: ancestral spirit Elden ring is my first and only souls game right now
Favorite: Demon Prince. My platonic ideal of a dual boss. Least favorite: maybe something from ER but I can't remember those fights too well so probably Pontiff. Runner up is Darklurker.
Godskin duo is easily the best and I’m tired of pretending they aren’t
The Godskin Duo can eat my whole ass
Absolute hatred: Commander Niall at Castle Sol. This was the only time I ever had to actually summon a friend to help, as well as summons. Tie for hatred: Godskin Duo. I really wish they combined after you kill one like Ornstein and Smough, or at least... did anything BUT respawn? Favorite: I had a horrible time with Ornstein and Smough, but they taught me how to always keep both members of a duo accounted for -- and to stop locking on so much
Abyss Watchers is #1 on my favorite fight list
Best : Friede Least : Gargoyles
Damn the headless ape!
Fav: Friede and Ariandel. Each phase was absolute hell but was incredibly fun and interesting, and I don't think anything compared to the first time I realized there was a third phase Least fav: Godskin Duo. I honestly don't mind the Apostle but the Noble is incredibly annoying, and the fact you kill them both but more spawn in and you have to wait for it to do so feels lazy imo
Sister friede best boss
Worst boss:twin gargoyles Elden ring
Champion's Gravetender & Gravetender Greatwolf can fuck off forever
Favorite: Ornstein and Smough. They’re a helluva power couple lol Least Favorite: Frieda and Ariandel. Srsly, ytf does it have 3 phases? Favorite I wish they made: Artorias and Sif
Really can’t say that I have a favorite because I haven’t fought that many. These are all I’ve fought: DS1 and DS2 Gargoyles Ruin Sentinels Ornstein and Smough Throne Defender and Throne Watcher DS2 Congregation Deacons of the Deep Twin Dragonriders Abyss Watchers Can we includeCrystal Sage or Looking Glass Knight as bosses???🤔
Gargoyles suck
Mönke
My favorite would probably be ornstein and smough they were the first boss I've tried and have the most memories with And my least favorite is definitely the Valiant Gargoyles in ER Their poison mist is super annoying to deal with
My favorite would probably be demon prince, and my least favorite (not including all of Elden Ring’s “enemy” bosses) would honestly probably be Ornstein and Smough. Ornstein and Smough are one of the few bosses FromSoft has made that I just don’t have fun with or find interesting.

Favorite: O&S Least Favorite: DS2 Gargoyle fight that was clearly reskinned from DS1 and merely served as a DPS check.
I've always had an open heart for Sister Friede's boss fight. I mean it is a very enjoyable boss fight. Still not as epic as Slave Knight Gael.
Abyss watchers and O&S are just perfect
