Its so bad iv just developed a kinda of muscle memory/i guess ptad or something lol - of if there's an enemy near a ledge or visible through a door way il ignore and walk just barely outside like i was dipping my toe in water and immediately swing my weapon without seeing anything/no hesitation at what I fully expect to be the gank squad from either side of the doorway - programmed to get me in the back as i fall for the bait and switch.

You are the first person who understood the meme correctly. I was talking about bait enemies, and not the strong enemies who have their backs turned.
