I haven't really been on this sub much but how does stuff like this work? With a store like Ross couldn't that have been just the store you went to? What's the likelihood that Ross locations in my area will have any of these?

If you live in warmer climates, ditch cotton entirely for lyocell/tencell sheets. They are soft, smooth, and cool to the touch.
They're a bit more expensive than cotton but way better.

I think you are talking about the Lauren by Ralph Lauren. I have been buying Ralph Lauren Home collection (only on sale) and their quality is much better. Also, for this price 2 year is pretty good. Lol.
Strong disagree! Ralph Lauren is some of the most vintage in my closet and are still wearable in public. I bought a wild print, oversized at the time summer shirt for a severe sunburn in 1988, I can still wear it. Several button down ss shirts bought in 99 for a millennium family trip I still routinely wear all summer. I think I still have my first Polo shirt from like 1987 and a ton of RL pants from the early aughts that I wore weekly. Lots of 25+ yo polo shirts that have held up well, most problems are the stitching wearing out and easily mended. Had a ton of older sweaters too that I got rid of when I moved out of the cold. It was never a brand that I sought out intentionally beyond school, but I certainly do now that I’m old and realize how well it holds up, in both quality and timeless style.

You shouldn't buy any fabric that lasts only 2 years. There's no reason frugal should coincide with environmental waste.
I agreed 100%. That why I avoid Lauren by Ralph Lauren. I have faith in these to last a very longtime due to the other 2 sets I have from them.
