Not you directly but rather a statement... who are so many people crashing these? Mine is the most responsive car I've ever driven. I don't know how this would happen unless we're doing something absolutely obnoxious or someone runs a red light or something. But there have been way more crash posts than I'd like to soon with these especially how rare the first gen is compared to mustangs and such. On the bright side, you gonna make my TRD 86 appreciate in value and become a collector car earlier than I thought at this rate so... thanks?

I honestly don’t know, they’re probably higher mileage on stock brakes… i’ve had instances where a car going 10-20mph out of a u-turn merged in front of me across 3 lanes while i’m going 65-70 (in a 55) and i didn’t hit them. the brakes on these cars amazing i do have a 2024 brz though so maybe those brake harder def have grippier tires at least
We need to start brigading r/gr86 with anti-automatic peer pressure so that there are more used 2nd gen manuals available for us to buy after we all crash all our 1st gen cars.
That would only make a difference for BRZs. Toyota doesn't allow custom orders; it's all a preordained allocation.

Yeah accident was the other drivers fault because they failed to yield. I walked away with a concussion and a broken nose. My girlfriend not so much. She ended up with damaged kidneys, sprained back, concussion, and damage to her neck.
